Wanikiya Record is glad to present the legendary INVÈRNA, the band officially enters the roster of the mega family Wanikiya and we are very happy to announce this beautiful collaboration!
The band was born in the spring of 2021 in Luino (VA), the intent from the beginning was to produce unreleased material, progressive rock, the three initial members come from various musical realities, from classic rock to the most extreme metal, joining forces immediately begin to compose music and to publicize the first singles, which will then go into the set list of the disc of the same name coming out soon, the disc will have two parts where they will alternate songs sung in Italian and some in English, the formation 2022 sees the inclusion of a second guitar and a keyboard, the sound recalls the progressive rock, in some places blurs into metal where the musical background of the members is felt more. This 2022 sees the release of the first part of the album and in 2023 will see the light of the second part, in the meantime the band is struggling with recordings and promotion.

Ljubljana’s underground legends NOCTIFERIA have a huge pleasure to announce that City of Ljubljana has awarded its highest recognition to the band for their cultural achievements and 25 years of activity!
The band shared: “Yesterday, on May 9th, at the Ljubljana Castle, we received the plaque from the capital City of Ljubljana for the achievements in the field of cultural creation and our first 25 years. Thank you Ljubljana and all of you who helped us build this story for a quarter of a century!”
The event included an award ceremony for the presentation of portraits of Honorary Citizens, Plaques and Awards of the City of Ljubljana for 2022.

The song is taken from the band’s latest album ‘Reforma (tribute to Laibach)’, released on May 28th 2021 via Blood Blast Distribution / Nika Records. The band on the song: “”Smrt za smrt” is one of the older Laibach songs we’ve re-made and it is also the last video we’ll release for the “Reforma” album. It is one of the most twisted and sick songs on the album with a horror-like atmosphere that we’ve partially transferred into the video that was shot on a remote location deep in the woods. The title translates into “Death for Death” and we’ve kept the lyrics in Slovene language, same as the original version. Fun facts: It’s the first whole song we ever did in our home language and the children’s voices were recorded by Igor’s daughters.” – Noctiferia

‘Reforma’, released May 28th 2021, is the latest studio album by NOCTIFERIA, a tribute to the legendary and world-renowned avant-garde band Laibach featuring three big and legendary names of metal scene; David Vincent – ex Morbid Angel, Vltimas, Attila Csihar – Mayhem and Jørgen Munkeby – Shining. It was mixed and mastered by the award-winning producer Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, At The Gates, etc.). The artwork concept and design is the work of Jean-Emmanuel “Valnoir” Simoulin from French design studio Metastazis, known for their work with Ghost, Behemoth, At the Gates, Amorphis, etc. The album can be described as a ‘crushing sounding mix of extreme metal and avant-garde music, with some very special and legendary guests!

Milan Records announces the release of CLARK (SOUNDTRACK FROM THE NETFLIX SERIES) by MIKAEL ÅKERFELDT.
CLARK is a brand-new six-part Netflix series released on May 5, 2022 and features a dramatic and mesmeric soundtrack by acclaimed Swedish musician, leading rock guitarist and songwriter, MIKAEL ÅKERFELDT. In addition to today’s digital release, the album is set to be released in both CD and vinyl formats in 2022 by InsideOutMusic. The jewelcase CD and the 2-LP heavy weight gatefold set including liner notes from Mikael Åkerfeldt & Jonas Åkerlund are set to arrive on July 22, 2022.
This eagerly-anticipated Swedish-language series in the thriller/crime genre with comedic caper elements is directed by internationally renowned director, Jonas Åkerlund from scripts by Frederik Agetoft, Peter Arrhenius and Jonas Åkerlund and is based on a book of his life by the protagonist, Clark Olofsson. It features Bill Skarsgård (Deadpool, It, The Northman), Alicia Agneson and Vilhelm Blomgren (Midsommar) and is produced by Börje Hansson and Julia Stannard. MIKAEL ÅKERFELDT’s atmospheric soundscape deftly captures the sound and feel of the times in music, ranging freely from swinging 60s style sounds to 1970s progressive rock and psychedelia via heavy metal, tango, funk, jazz, Arabic melodies and indie pop and chill. All of these vibrant layers and textures are skillfully combined to effortlessly underpin the high-octane dramatic content of the series and also to place it perfectly within the context of the times in which the drama plays out. Clearly, in his element here, of the 34 tracks presented, four have a distinctive key vocal component provided by ÅKERFELDT himself.
The legendary KING’S X, comprised of dUg Pinnick, Ty Tabor & Jerry Gaskill, are pleased toannounce they have signed with InsideOutMusic/Sony Music worldwide. They will be the label-home for the bands forthcoming 13th studio album and first new music in 14 years, which has just been completed, the long-awaited new record will see the light of day on the 2nd of September 2022.
The bands forthcoming new album saw them working with Emmy Award-winning engineer, mixer, and producer Michael Parnin (Rage Against the Machine, Mark Lanegan) at his Blacksound Studio in California.
King’s X are set to return to stages in 2022, heading to Europe in September and returning to North America for more dates in October.

Canadian-American rock outfit REDLIGHT KING are excited to share news of their signing to German rock/metal label AFM RECORDS who will release the band’s fourth full-length album In Our Blood later this fall. The album was written and produced by frontman Mark “Kaz” Kasprzyk at Wax Studios in Los Angeles, CA with long-time collaborator and guitarist Julian Tomarin, who also co-wrote a few tracks, and drummer Randy Cooke. REDLIGHT KING released its debut single, the uplifting anthemic title track “In Our Blood,” last Friday, May 6 across all digital platforms following the premiere of its energetic music video via Loudwire on May 5. The song was first imagined by our guitarist Julian, who laid down the riff and a killer melody in the hook. It continued to build with a vengeance, so we kicked it into high gear with a four on the floor beat and a traditional rock n’ roll approach to scoring the lyrics.”
Kaz continues, “For me, ‘In Our Blood’ captures the human spirit and gives a sense of hope that we can break through the generational cycles of classism set in place to divide us. When I sing the song I think of my family, I think about my grandfather fighting in WW2, the things they went through, the sacrifices they made and that my parents made as well. I think of my bandmates and the audience we play for. We are all trying to make the best of this journey. We all bleed the same color and we’re all in this together.”
REDLIGHT KING will make their way across the rock festival circuit with appearances at Welcome To Rockville (5/19-22) in Daytona Beach, FL, Blue Ridge Rock Festival (9/8-11) in Dansville, VA and Louder Than Life (9/23-26) in Louisville, KY along with additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks. The band have developed a worldwide fanbase since their formation in 2009, performing over 1,000 shows with some of the biggest names in rock and being seen on festival stages in North America, UK and Europe as well as late-night TV appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Formed in Hamilton, ON by Kaz, REDLIGHT KING made waves in 2011 with the release of their debut album Something For The Pain on Hollywood Records which included the #3 Billboard Mainstream Rock single “Bullet In My Hand” and a reimagined version of Neil Young’s “Old Man” of which Young approved the band to use a sample from his original song. Their second album, Irons In The Fire, followed in 2013 and featured the single “Born To Rise” which is heard in the end title credits for the Lionsgate sports drama blockbuster Draft Day.
