THE VENDETTAS stay true to their classic rock roots with their latest single, ‘6 Ft Under’ which is out now on all digital platforms, through Golden Robot Records
‘6 Ft Under’ captures every essence of a great rock song, with its thumping rhythm section, soaring guitars and vocal hook that will instantly get stuck in your head.
The tracks ‘apocalyptic’ themed chorus is an interpretation of what it would be like to be the last person on earth, a somewhat tongue-in-cheek opposition to the overall upbeat nature of the song.
THE VENDETTAS have been a part of Melbourne’s rock scene for over 10 years, mastering their craft to every beer soaked wall and sticky floor the town has to offer.
In more recent times, the boys spent almost a year writing vigorously and tightening the ‘pre-prod’ screws, before hitting the studio hard to record their latest album The Vendettas III, released in 2021 via Golden Robot Records.
These studio sessions were all captured live and raw, with one main objective in mind – to produce a piece of audio that represents what the band sounds like in the flesh, with all dials cranked to 11.
THE VENDETTAS have moved from strength to strength, securing their first international support with Danko Jones (Canada), while continuing to build their presence in the local scene, doing what they love, belting out rock ‘n’ roll.
THE VENDETTAS are poised and ready to attack the ears of all you rock fiends, near and far…

The CD version features 8 tracks plus a bonus EP made of 4 tracks, one having Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan (Venom Inc) as special guest!
Here’s what the legendary Mantas from Venom Inc. had to say about SURVIVE’s live potential:
“I had the pleasure and honor of touring Europe with Survive and they proved themselves to be a valuable asset to the touring package. I can say without hesitation or reservations that they were most definitely my favorite band on the tour. Incredibly nice and gracious guys who obviously loved their music and delivered every single night. I gave them the nickname ‘The Japanese Machine Head’ a song that they played at every sound check became the tour anthem because of its wonderful chorus structure. Melody, hook lines and brutally heavy guitar riffs define this amazing band who deserve global recognition. Maximum Respect from Jeff (Mantas)”

After dropping their second album and label debut, Nightfall, a few months ago, German metalcore powerhouse SETYØURSAILS have just unveiled another new outburst, showcasing their variety and multifaceted sound in the best way with a powerful cover of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s soundtrack hit “Shallow”. Joining forces with Mike Perez from No Bragging Rights, they turn the ballad upside down and into a modern and massively energetic hardcore performance.
The new single is visually underlined via an intense music video capturing the band’s eclectic attitude and framing it with eccentric lighting in different colors. In addition, the video marks a new chapter in the band’s history, as it features new band members Hendrik Kellershohn (drums) and Nicolai Hoch (bass) for the very first time.
SETYØURSAILS about “Shallow”: “We are very happy to release the video for our fourth single ‘Shallow’ feat. Mike Perez today. Yes that’s right ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper! Since Mike Perez of No Bragging Rights is one of Jules’ favorite singers, we feel it is a great honor to have him on board. We are not fans of judging genres, which is why covering ‘Shallow’ made us extremely excited. It’s an incredibly well written song, with wonderful melody lines. To transform this into our style was just mega exciting. Our producer and friend Julian Breucker did a really great job. Love greetings at this point. We hope that people like it as much as we do. Since we’re on tour right now, we’ve already had the opportunity to play it live for the audience.”
SETYØURSAILS about the official video for “Shallow”: “Shooting the video was a lot of fun. Of course we had to come up with something since Mike is based in LA and we are based in Cologne. But luckily we had great video people around us who created a great result. At this point a thousand thanks and warm greetings to: Jan Barthel, Thorsten Gruna and Frédéric Sapart! We hope you like it!”
Latvian metal band MORPHIDE have announced the release of their debut album Anhedonia, due on September 9, and shared their vocal one-take video for their recent song “Panopticon”.
Anhedonia is a 9-track album focused on human personality and relationships between individuals and their own feelings. Eissa, vocalist for Morphide, commented on the band’s forthcoming release. “We are so excited to finally release our first album! We have been working on it for the past three years, and multiple issues caused by the pandemic make the release even more anticipating for us.”
The band has also had a chance to work with an ARIA nominated and internationally renowned producer and mixer Forrester Savell. “We are so delighted for such an opportunity. Forrester was able to truly feel our songs and bring them to another level.”
One-take performance video for “Panopticon” showcases Eissa’s wide range of vocals and demonstrates free switches from clean to extreme vocal techniques. The band wanted to be 100% honest and therefore hasn’t used any doubles or edits on their one-take version.

Finnish progressive metal band SUM OF SEVEN released a new music video The Enemy. Famous Finnish model, dancer & singer Joalin Loukamaa, known from global Pop band Now United is featured on the video. The track is released in collaboration with Inverse Records.
“We wanted to create a video that has a nice balance of story and the band playing. Originally we planned this to be purely the band playing the song but the place we found for the shoot inspired us to add a story element. Joalin Loukamaa did an excellent job in our last video and we asked if she would join the project. Fortunately she said yes and did an amazing job again. We got Saku Suominen from Sakuvisuals to direct and work his magic behind the camera and we had an absolute blast filming this. We feel that the atmosphere of the video and the song complement each other in just the right way and the finished product definitely makes us proud.
The Enemy is a song that starts out fast and aggressive and really carries that momentum from start to finish. It is one of the heaviest songs that we have made so far. When that intro explodes you know that we’re going somewhere fast. But at the same time when the vocal melodies kick in they steer the song into a different direction than you might expect, still carrying the aggressive momentum. That element of surprise is really what crowns the song for me. The Enemy has one of the best melodies we have written in my opinion and Marko’s delivery is just absolutely breathtaking. The lyrics talk about freedom, victory and survival, but they also have connotations to the questionable interpretations of those subjects. The message can be interpreted as positively empowering, but also as a disturbingly delusional illusion.”
