GRAHAM BONNET BAND have announced the upcoming release of a new studio album, “Day Out In Nowhere” on May 13, 2022. Today, the band has unveiled the first single and video from the album, ‘Imposter’.

Pre-order/save “Day Out In Nowhere” on CD/LP/Digital HERE: https://orcd.co/dayout

Watch the video HERE:

Graham is joined by long-time bandmates Beth-Ami Heavenstone (bass) and Conrado Pesinato (guitar) on this new opus, as well as keyboardist Alessandro Bertoni and drummer Shane Gaalaas. “Day Out In Nowhere” also sees performance and co-writing guest appearances from Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Nevermore), John Tempesta (The Cult, White Zombie), Mike Tempesta (Powerman5000), Roy Z (Halford, Bruce Dickinson) and Don Airey (Deep Purple, Rainbow), to name a few.

Explains Bonnet of the new album, “Similar to the first two [Graham Bonnet Band] albums, it will reflect different eras of my career, but with a contemporary twist. I’m also delighted to be playing with the original members of the Graham Bonnet Band: Beth-Ami Heavenstone who has been my constant partner (on and off stage) since meeting back in 2012 and guitarist Conrado Pesinato, who’s innate musical style elicits some of my best songwriting. Conrado and Beth-Ami also produced this record which made the process seamless.”

Graham Bonnet is a hard rock legend with a pedigree to back that statement up. His solo offerings and stints with Rainbow, MSG, Alcatrazz, and Impellitteri prove he is one of the finest rock vocalists and songwriters of his generation. From his late 60’s into his 70’s, Graham has written and recorded three of the best albums he’s ever done, including a reunion album with Graham Bonnet’s Alcatrazz called Born Innocent in 2020, along with two regal, rocking and yet irresistibly sophisticated records with his cherished Graham Bonnet Band. “The Book,” which was met with zeal by fans the world over, arrived in 2016, followed by the well loved “Meanwhile, Back in the Garage” in 2018.

It is with this elegant late-career outfit, The Graham Bonnet Band, that this consummate powerhouse of a vocalist and charmer of a frontman brings us “Day Out In Nowhere” set to be released through Frontiers Records on May 13, 2022. Expect Graham to hit the tour trail with his usual passion and energy combining the classics with some new gems.

“Day Out In Nowhere” will be the Graham Bonnet Band’s third release with Frontiers Music Srl, following the well-received and critically praised “The Book” and “Meanwhile, Back In The Garage”.

DEAD POET SOCIETY Share ‘.SALT.’ Video

Los Angeles quartet DEAD POET SOCIETY have shared the video for “.SALT.” Watch the story-driven video here.

The track is darkly seductive, with a quiet push-and-pull tension.

“We wrote this song about getting f**ked over by certain people in our career,” the band explains. “People we thought we could trust, people who we never could have foreseen doing the things they did. Over the course of our career, we’ve met and worked with a lot of people — many of whom have been a blessing and have largely contributed to our success. But as a band, especially in the early years, there were sharks out there. This song is straight from the heart.”

The band will return to the road this spring supporting Biffy Clyro, who hand-picked the band for the bill. The tour kicks off April 17 in Chicago and runs through May 9 in Los Angeles. All dates are below. The band will also return to Europe this summer for festival season, where they are set to perform at Download in the UK and Full Force in Germany.

Dead Poet Society are poised to have a major year in 2022. The band released their debut album -!- (said as “The Exclamation Album.“) a year ago and have since accumulated over 30 million global streams, with over 10 million in the U.S. alone. The single “.CoDA.” was a Top 15 single at radio, spending over 20 weeks on the chart. The track was also featured on Spotify’s Rock This playlist.  The band hit the road last fall in support of Badflower and made appearances at the Welcome to Rockville and Louder Than Life festivals. Across the pond, the band appeared at the Reading and Leeds festivals. At Reading, they drew one of the biggest crowds of the day. Watch footage of the definitive performance here.

Psych Rockers ANANDA MIDA Unleash New Video for ‘The Pilot’

Two years after the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album “Cathodnatius”, June 25 2021 saw the release of “Karnak”, the latest EP by psych rockers ANANDA MIDA. An EP packed with three magical tracks, a release that bears witness to the unfettered and spiced up attitude of improvisations, that has constantly distinguished the band’s live activity. In support of their latest release, the band has shared a brand new live video for the track “The Pilot”.

Ananda Mida says: The Pilot is a song we always enjoy playing! The opening theme comes from the sounds of hospital machinery, then we added our own groove and there you go! We are very happy with the result because this performance reflects a clean edge that is not always part of our live experience.

“Karnak” is out on Go Down Records and available for purchase HERE

Danish EVIL Return with New Album “Book Of Evil” in May

Back in the early 80s, the Danish heavy metal scene was taking its first steps, learning a (very) own path away from the strong rock and punk rock backgrounds that the country provided their youth. Those were the years where the highly acclaimed metal bands Mercyful Fate and Artillery took form. But also a few others that, in the following years, saw their career follow different paths and fates, loading to disbanding with a band or simply fading away. Formed in 1983, Copenhagen-natives EVIL were one of these bands. Their debut demo, already in ‘83, set the Danish heavy metal on fire with their heavy metal frenzy and their now-mythical 1984 EP “Evil’s Message” was the confirmation that Denmark had probably one of the strongest metal scenes in Europe back then. Unfortunately, that wasn’t meant to last and the band disappeared from circulation in 1985.

A return to action was later tried in 2015, with original drummer Freddie Wolf, now on guitars, leading a new line-up that released the debut album “Shoot The Messenger”. But Evil’s career still wasn’t meant to be and the band laid dormant again… Until now!

The mighty Evil is now re-born with new joining members including vocalist Martin Steene (Iron Fire, ex-Force Of Evil), drummer Henrik Molin (ex-Shadowspawn), bassist Jakob Haugaard (Iron Fire) and guitarist Nikolaj Ihlemann (ex-Nightlight), continuing the original inspirations of bands like Judas Priest and Accept.

In its current re-vitalized form, Evil has recorded ten new songs. The album, titled “The Book Of Evil”, was produced in Hellfire Studio, Copenhagen, and Antfarm Studio, Aarhus, mixed and co-produced by rewarded metal producer/mixer Tue Madsen. “We have made the new material in the spirit of the eighties but with a modern metal state of mind” Freddie Wolf says.

The band is now ready to take back a leading role among old-school metal bands.

Evil is coming!

“Book Of Evil” will be released in digital, CD and LP (crystal and golden vinyls, each limited to 300 units) by From The Vaults on May 27th, 2022. Pre-orders here.

The first digital single of the album, “Evil Never Dies”, is out now and a second single, “Future Denied”, will be released on March 11th – pre-save it in this link.

1. Intro (A Terrible Thing)
2. Divine Conspiracy
3. Evil Never Dies
4. Future Denied
5. The Raven Throne
6. King Of The Undead
7. Beyond Mind Control

LORD OF THE LOST Release New Song for Peace And International Understanding ‘Not My Enemy’

As a direct reaction to the war in Ukraine, LORD OF THE LOST set a sign for peace and international understanding with new music. Shortly after the first attacks on Ukrainian targets became known, the band around Chris Harms set out to express their thoughts and feelings through a new song and to make a clear statement for peace. To release the song as soon as possible, the accompanying music video was shot by the band with selfie cams instead of their usual large-scale production.

Throughout the years, the German band has repeatedly taken steadfast positions on social issues and expressed their solidarity with disadvantaged groups of people.

LORD OF THE LOST WILL DONATE ALL PROFITS FOR THIS SONG TO REFUGEES FROM THIS WAR!

LORD OF THE LOST on the current conflict and “Not My Enemy”:

“What’s happening in the world right now is not a war of people. It’s a war of the authorities. Civilians of different backgrounds are dying and suffering because of this war – inside Ukraine and outside. No human being chooses before birth within which borders they will be born. No border, which is held, moved or broken by the bloodhounds of the autocrats of this world, is worth that sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers hate each other and that innocent children are born and raised into these paradigms and ideologies. This hatred does not begin in a conflict like this, fueled by censorship, information warfare, and fake news – this hatred begins in the minds of each of us, as well as in the comment columns of increasingly anti-social networks. Especially in days like these, as well as in the years to come, it is even more important to understand that the only thing that separates us is what we allow to happen, yet at the core, everything unites us.

You’re not my enemy, you’re a part of me. You’re not my enemy, wherever you come from, whatever you look like and whatever you believe in. You’re not my enemy!

This song was created as an immediate reaction from us, shortly after the attack on Ukraine. We produced and released it as soon as possible in the hopes that it would touch and make people think. If even one person is reached with it, it was already worth it.”

#notmyenemy

I don’t believe in their borders or sides
Our bond will never be torn by their fights”

“You’re not my enemy for we can see
We are sharing the same sky
Yes our mother tongue may be different
But our yearnings unify”
