While German up-and-coming black metal force DÆMONESQ is currently gearing up for the release of their debut EP, The Beauty of Letting Go (February 25th), the band has just unleashed a brand new video clip for their blistering single “Allure And Grandeur”!
Ever since their formation in 2020, the female fronted extreme metal congregation rises to conquer the male dominated realms of metal, guiding you down the path of sweet pain on your way through the valley of the shadow of death. “‘Allure and grandeur’ is a prayer to the goddess of destruction and renewal by a person that struggles with stigmata causing her to withdraw into an inner exile.” Vocalist Rægina explains. “By means of this prayer she reminds herself of what she believes in, summons her inner strength, and reignites the rage providing the vitality to fight back”.

The Beauty of Letting Go will be independently released by the band on February 25, 2022, and available as a limited edition – hand numbered and signed by the band – only at: www.daemonesq.com
THE HUMAN TORNADO will be unleashing their new album “Love Is Démodé” this coming March via Rockshots Records and in preview to its release, the band is sharing their third single “What I’m Waiting For” with a new music video.
“It’s so easy calling someone crazy for talking to themselves in front of a mirror. This song was born from the madness distinguishing each one of us and from the eternal struggle between body and mind. It musically represents the swing of moods and the physical and psychological natural consequences of this inner challenge someone may have.” adds the band.
Offering a slab of smashing knock-out heavy groove rock, The Human Tornado‘s “Love Is Démodé” follows their 2016 debut record “Storm In A Ketchup” (Hidden Stone Records). Since their inception in 2014, the band has been making shockwaves out of their home country of Italy supporting touring bands such as Twelve Foot Ninja, Destrage, and Crazy Town. The album was self-produced by The Human Tornado with mixing and mastering done by Marco Paradisi at Boat Studio. The album features ten hurricane tour de force tracks that will leave fans breathless and eager to set the track listing on repeat from beginning to end. The lyrical concept behind the album is love, one of the strongest feelings of deep affection. It has different aspects and it can be addressed to another person, an animal, or a passion. But, if it’s pure, this doesn’t matter. The band explains further:
“For some years this feeling of love has been declining, going out of fashion. In fact, in our society finding people loving what they do is increasingly difficult and often image, power, success are the most important aspects of life. Moreover, these goals are more and more often achieved by means of questionable actions and negative feelings. In this album we want to express our idea of love in particular towards music, showing in every single song even the dark and negative sides coming from love in our life.“
“Love Is Démodé” will be available on March 11th via Rockshots Records and available for pre-order at https://bit.ly/THT_CD

In a world of uncertainty, there’s few things that will lift your spirits like a raucous, rollicking, rambunctious slice of Celtic folk/punk, and Swedish/Irish sextet SIR REG are more than happy to oblige! Formed by Irishman Brendan Sheehy, who left his home-town of Dublin and headed to Sweden with a guitar and a dream – to put together the most amazing band possible.
Boasting songs that bring together everything from the issues of modern day society to finding the right bar on a Saturday night, powered by strong melodies and irresistible energy. Add to the mix an explosive live show and it’s easy to see why, SIR REG have a formidable reputation in the Celtic punk and rock scene. Since the fledging band burst onto the scene in 2009 they have released five critically acclaimed albums and have performed on many of Europe’s biggest stages alongside bands like The Mahones, The Misfits, Thin Lizzy and The Real McKenzies.
2022 sees the band return with album number six, the quite remarkable ‘Kings of Sweet Feck All’. On which the band continue to stand with those struggling to make their voices and their opinions heard, bolstered by songs of grit and passion, without ever losing sight of the underdog spirit.
‘The Kings Of Sweet Feck All‘ is the second single and title track from the album (following ‘Open the Pubs’ which was released in mid January) and the band explain that it’s a song of compassion: – “Sometimes people follow the flock and go along with things just because they feel they have to! This song is about a bunch of British soldiers raiding the home of an Irish family during the war of independence. The soldiers didn’t want to be there, but it was their job and their duty. A reminder that even enemies feel compassion for each other. // SIR REG
Jimmy Kay and Alan Dixon from Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to Krokus Vocalist Marc Storace about his first solo “Live and Let Live” and upcoming solo tour. Plus marc gives an update of Krokus farewell tour, a statement to Dee Snider in regards to the years of their feud and the AC/DC audition explained and clarified.
“Live And Let Live” was made available in Switzerland in December and was released in North America earlier this month.
When asked about an update on the Krokus Farewell Tour “Last time we talked (with the band) I had high hopes and in the meantime those high hopes have become quite dusty and have crumbled, I don’t know what to think anymore but I kind of lost hope myself everyone has kind of gone in different directions and it’s like what is going on is just nothing. So I am concentrating on my stuff, I’m having fun and I am even planning on coming over, things are being looked at now as we speak in the USA (fall 2022) and am happy about that, for the Fall. I will be playing almost my whole solo album and I’m going to play Krokus songs (no Covers). And some Krokus songs which I will play will be songs I wanted to do but never got the chance to do again, like Midnite Maniac. “
When asked if Dee Snider and Marc have made peace after long feud “I have always made peace, in fact I was on this tour ‘Rock meets Classic’, with other artists and at the end of the tour we were supposed to play one concert in Wacken with this whole orchestra and band. And I was thrown off because Dee Snider came in to headline and he said he won’t do it unless Storace’s thrown off. I was looking forward to asking Dee if we could go to the side and have a beer so maybe I could apologize and say hey let’s bury the hatchet, it’s not worth a few hundred dollars of stage clothes which we didn’t like. It is as simple as that. I was not in the room when this happened, so I don’t know if there were any dirty words spoken or attitude in which things were said. But I don’t think it is worth carrying a burden like that.”
When asked if Dee Snider was watching what would Marc say to him in regards to this issue “Hey Dee I am looking forward to meeting you not to get into big arguments, we know the whole story but I think now we are mature and we look forward . You love your wife, I love mine. Let’s just sit down and move on.”

NAKED GYPSY QUEENS, New Heavyweights Of Rock & Roll’s Modern-Day Renaissance, have released their debut EP, ‘Georgiana’, out February 11, 2022 via Mascot Label Group / Mascot Records.

Rooted in amplified blues, hard-charging grooves, and dual lead guitars, the band builds upon the larger-than-life sound of their heroes from the 1960s and ’70s, keeping the flame burning for old-school hard rock while using their own 21st century fuel.
Formed while all four members were still in high school, Naked Gypsy Queens built their audience the blue-collar way: by plugging in, turning up, and playing out. They cut their teeth on the classics — the Rolling Stones, MC5, the Allman Brothers, and Pink Floyd — and funneled those influences into their own songs, creating an original sound that was loud, aggressive, and filled with supersized hooks. After developing a loyal following in their hometown of Franklin, TN, they set their sights on Nashville, quickly becoming one of the city’s premiere rock acts before any of the bandmates had turned 20 years old.
“Our goal was to become the baddest live band around,” says frontman Chris Attigliato, who shares guitar duties with Cade Pickering. “We were loud. We were a band you had to see onstage. It started to become a cult thing, with lines forming around the block at some venues. We weren’t trying to achieve the highest number of digital streams; we were just doing what we wanted to do, and making the music we wanted to make. As it turned out, we were pushing some buttons, too.”
With ‘Georgiana,’ the band confidently steps into the international spotlight. These songs mix southern-fried swagger, electrified stomp, and sharp songwriting into five unique anthems, showcasing the chemistry between Attigliato, Pickering, bassist Bo Howard, and drummer Landon Herring. “Georgiana,” released earlier this year, is a barn-burning anthem punctuated by slide guitar and thundering drums, and “Wolves” is a guitar-driven blast of minor-key bombast. Rounded out by the dynamic power ballad “If Your Name is New York (Then Mine’s Amsterdam)” and the thumping “Strawberry Blonde #24,” ‘Georgiana’ shows the full range of Naked Gypsy Queens’ reach. It’s a snapshot of a band on the rise.
The band recorded ‘Georgiana’ in Detroit, working with studio veterans Marlon Young, Al Sutton, and Herschel Boone. Looking to capture the high-octane energy of their acclaimed concerts, they knocked out each track in a series of live takes. Meanwhile, legends like Alice Cooper and MC5’s Wayne Kramer stopped by the studio throughout the tracking process, strengthening the bond between Naked Gypsy Queens and the rock icons who came before them.
“We’ve got an older sound, mixed with something new,” says Howard, who remembers stumbling across Attigliato and Herring in the basement of the boys’ Tennessee high school, bashing their way through Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” with beyond-their-years skill. “From the first time I met these guys, I knew I had to play with them. I knew we could make music that drew in other people our age, while still appealing to those who grew up with this kind of music.”
With a sound that reaches across generations, Naked Gypsy Queens bridge the divide between the genre’s past and future, creating timeless rock & roll for the modern world. Led not only by Chris’ soulful howl, but also the sonic punch of a taught rhythm section and the interlocked riffs of two lead guitarists, Naked Gypsy Queens are royalty in the making.
“Booze for Blues! No time to think, time to drink!“ On album number three, Spanish heavy fuzz rock and power blues trio BLUES WEISER stays true to their motto. Aptly titled Obey The Booze, the band’s upcoming, third album will be released on April 22, 2022 via Argonauta Records!
BLUES WEISER unleashes a vibrant blend of Fu Manchu / Nebula fuzzy blues jams, 70’s Jimi Hendrix- infused Wah-Wah solos, thunderous 90’s rock riffs and big grooves. Sometimes crystal clear and laid-back, exploding in a face melting distortion, BLUES WEISER do know how to shake grounds with a sound it’s impossible not to have a good time. Today, the trio shared a new song taken from Obey The Booze, which will be available to pre-order via the Argonauta Records store soon. Watch the trippy music video for Impact Of Aviation HERE:
Says vocalist & guitarist Jozz: “We are thrilled to finally share our first album details with you today, about our upcoming album Obey The Booze! It’s been a wild ride since we started recording it, while trying to settle on making a Fuzzy/Bluesy/Psychedelic- and Fun but at times yet dark but honest record. I think we succeeded.
This first track we like you to check out today, ‘Impact Of Aviation’, is about the feeling to lift off; that feeling when gravity lets you go. Getting so high you’re afraid that eventually, you have to come down and nothing will ever be the same again.”
