KLAS HOLMGREN & STEVE BROCKMANN Release Single + Video ‘The Light Across The Way’ with BROCKMANN’S GUESTHOUZE Project

Today, February 4th, KLAS HOLMGREN (Krilloan) and STEVE BROCKMANN (Vision of Choice) release a single “The Light Across The Way” with BROCKMANN’S GUESTHOUZE Project. The video will premiere today, at 7pm CET.

Steve: “Klas and I first met at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2003 and we met again and again after that, Hell Yeah! He sang background vocals on a song of the first Vision of Choice album and I got to play lead guitar on his power metal project “Krilloan”. A year ago we thought it would be cool to compose a song together for the Guesthouze, which we did. We were able to get George Andrade as a lyricist, who wrote us a really nice ghost story. Singer Andreas Kapatais comes from Cyprus and is very successful there with his band “Minus One”.

“Brockmann’s Guesthouze” is a home for individual songs that are not intended for any of my current projects (like Vision of Choice) – I can record them when I feel like it, without any pressure and without any stylistic boundaries. The concept is to have at least one guest singer and / or instrumentalist with me.”

“The Light Cross the Way” is available for purchase on Bandcamp: https://brockmannsguesthouze.bandcamp.com/track/the-light-cross-the-way

Watch the video premiering today February 4th at 7pm CET here:

Klas Holmgren, born in 1979 in Älmhult (south of Sweden), Sweden has been playing guitar in different bands in Sweden the last 25 years. His last project, 24 Silver Bullets was laid to rest in 2019 and Klas felt that he was done with playing gigs in rock-, and coverbands. Instead he committed his energy to a new project that had been in his thoughts for several years – Krilloan. The project started out in 2020 with the vision to compose fast and melodic powermetal the way it sounded back in the nineties. The project released their debut-EP in 2021 (with Steve Brockmann in lead guitars) and are working on new material for 2022.

• Stories Of Times Forgotten (2021)

Steve Brockmann, born in 1965 in Kiel (near Hamburg) Germany, has played an active role in Northern Germany’s music scene since the early 1980s. Being the creative head of various bands, he has played gigs on many stages between Germany’s most popular holiday island Sylt (up in the very North) and the orchards of Lower Saxony. Amongst others, he has played support gigs for such rock legends as Uriah Heep, Moody Marsden Band, and Hawkwind. After having spent some time roaming the North and living out his own rock ’n’ roll movie, Steve has since “retired” from the road to mainly concentrate on composing original music for his various projects in his personal studio.

MARILLION Release New Single + Video ‘Murder Machines’ from Upcoming Studio Album

MARILLION share their deep reflection on human interaction in the current global situation with their most upbeat single in many years.

The band’s 20th studio album “An Hour Before It’s Dark” will be released on March 4th, 2022.

Watch the official video for “Murder Machines” here:

With “An Hour Before It’s Dark”, Marillion release one of their most upbeat albums of their career while, at the same time, they once again do not shy away from uncomfortable topics, reflect on their own behaviour, and put their finger in the wounds of time.
Exactly one month before the album’s release, the band shows how well this goes together with a new foretaste of their latest creation.

“Murder Machines” is a song that was born in the challenging times of lockdown and social distancing and has become so much more than just a mirror of our times, more than a song that deals with the precious as well as dark sides of human relationships.

Steve Hogarth about the story behind “Murder Machines”:
“I tried not to write about the virus. But it’s been so much a part of life for the past two years that it kept creeping in. The terrifying reality that to wrap my arms around my father or mother could ultimately kill them, gave birth to this song. The lyric was then developed to hint at jealousy and heartbreak – the pain of watching the woman you love embrace another man, or the emotional “murder” of the serial adulterer. And, of course, the arms of the superpowers, and the psychopaths who sometimes have their fingers on the triggers. Beware the murder machines…”

Like its predecessor, 2016’s critically acclaimed and chart-topping album “F*** Everyone And Run (F E A R)”, “An Hour Before It’s Dark” was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, which also provided the perfect backdrop for the carefully chosen selection of behind-the-scenes footage in form of a documentary on the making of the album as well as a performance of “Murder Machines” which will be released together with the album.

Pre-order “AN HOUR BEFORE IT’S DARK” here:  https://Marillion.lnk.to/AnHourBeforeItsDark

Marillion will embark on a major European tour in autumn 2022, preceded by several Marillion weekends until summer 2022.
Founded in 1979, British rock band Marillion have, over the course of 19 studio albums, become one of the most commercially successful progressive rock bands of the 1980s and are still one of the most outstanding representatives of their genre.  Marillion embraced the potential of the internet for both their commercial approach and to interact with their audience, long before their peers.

DAN REED NETWORK have rescheduled their February 2022 UK co-headline UK tour with Reckless Love and special guest Collateral to August and September 2022. Tickets for all shows remain valid. Tickets are available from www.gigantic.com/reckless-love-dan-reed-network-tickets and www.danreed-network.crom/tour.

“The ongoing instability caused by the pandemic has made it impossible for Dan Reed Network and Reckless Love to travel to the UK and throughout Europe,” says Dan.

Dan adds, “This decision has not been made lightly. We were determined to give these shows as much of a chance of happening as possible, however it is now clear that the world is not yet in a secure enough position for us to be confident about traversing countries with shows unaffected by Covid. There is the added caveat that when we return to play our first shows in what now will be well over two years, we want to do this in true DRN fashion and that means freely interacting with those who want to come and hang out with the band post shows. Our live performances are fuelled by our interactions with you all, before, during and after our shows!”

See the rescheduled tour dates below.

The band’s new album Let’s Hear It For The King, originally slated for March 4th release, has been moved to the new release date of Friday June 17th. Pre-order the album from https://danreednetwork.tmstor.es/

To coincide with the new album release date the band are pleased announce that they will be performing at the HRH AOR Festival in Manchester in June as well as hosting an album launch party in Hamburg in conjunction with their record label Drakkar Entertainment. There will be further announcements soon for the June release so please watch this space!

Finally, the shows planned for Norway & Belgium have been unable to be rescheduled to coincide with these new tour dates and as a result all tickets previously purchased will be eligible for a refund.

Dan Reed Network are delighted to present the new lyric video for Pretty Karma – the second single from the upcoming new album Let’s Hear It For The King. The single is out now and is available to stream at https://bfan.link/pretty-karma-1

Watch the Pretty Karma lyric video below.

“The reception to the first single “Starlight” was truly incredible,” says Dan Reed. “We’re determined to keep our foot to the floor. “Pretty Karma” is the perfect track for that, and we hope this track keeps the anticipation levels for ‘Let’s Hear It For the King’ simmering on high!
Finally, for those of you who are part of the ‘Networkers’ Facebook group or a supporter of the bands Patreon page, Dan will now be performing both solo and bringing down his bassist Bengan Jonasson and drummer Robert Ikiz from Sweden and it going to rock it up big time at The ‘Networkers’ show in Newcastle on Feb 27th. All tickets remain valid but are refundable if you’d like to hold out to see the full Network, but Dan is excited to reunite with everyone for this one-off performance. It’s been a long time coming! A couple tickets remain. For more information, please join us on Patreon or the ‘Networkers’ Facebook page.

Let’s Hear It For The King is Dan Reed Network’s sixth studio album, and their first since 2018’s Origins album.  The new album comes full circle to the band’s original vision statement – to challenge beliefs, smash down existing protocol, and build something new out of the shrapnel.

“We are chomping at the bit to get out there and bring people what we genuinely believe is the heaviest, funkiest and most melodic DRN album to date,” says Dan Reed. “These songs are the strongest representation of the band’s sound that we’ve ever created. You have been warned!”

Not for the faint-hearted, the long-awaited new DRN album pays tremendous detail to infectious melodies, provocative lyrics and honours their shredding funk rock roots. This album is for visionaries who want to be part of and bear witness to the next step in the Dan Reed Network’s artistic evolution.

Available to pre-order from the official Dan Reed Network store https://danreednetwork.tmstor.es/– the new album will be available as a Limited Edition DRN LHIFTK box set, Limited Edition coloured vinyl, and much more. Dan has even created personalised, hand-written lyric sheets for each song from Let’s Hear It For The King that will be randomly placed inside the limited-edition box sets. Happy hunting, everyone!

“The new album snarls and bites,” says an enthusiastic Dan Reed. “We wanted to cut its teeth alongside some young, high-energy bands, so who better than Reckless Love and Collateral. Those boys can rock. Anyone who’s seen DRN live knows that’s where we come to life.  We’re ready to deliver a lot of energy and give the audience a direct shot of funk n’ roll!”

KREATOR to Release New Album “Hate Über Alles” on June 3rd, Video for Title Track Unleashed

The mighty KREATOR are proud to announce their fifteenth studio album, “Hate Über Alles,” which will be released on June 3rd, 2022. Five years after their highly acclaimed album “Gods Of Violence” (2017), peaking at #1 in the German album charts, the genre-defining band are proud to present this 11-track behemoth.

For 37 years, KREATOR has spear-headed a thrash metal crusade, inspiring generations of metal heads and musicians alike. The collision of traditional and contemporary values is a sentiment that Mille Petrozza has breathed in to the soul of this monumental new album; recruiting visionary producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy, Ghostmane and Turnstile) from Philadelphia to work with the band at the legendary Hansa Studio in Berlin. “Hate Über Alles” features gorgeously grim cover artwork by renowned artist Eliran Kantor (Testament, Thy Art Is Murder, Helloween), serving a bold statement against hate and division in today’s society.

Mille Petrozza comments:
“Hate Über Alles reflects the time we’re living in. Everything is really loud and aggressive. The way we communicate has changed, thanks to social media. It causes a lot of imbalance. The world is in a state of disrepair. Life is not harmonic right now, it’s disharmonic… that’s where I was going with the title.”

Starting today, “Hate Über Alles” can be pre-ordered in various formats, including a noble 2LP+CD Box Set (scroll down for more details).

Today also marks the release of the first new KREATOR single, the vicious title track “Hate Über Alles,” for which the band has produced a thrilling music video that should be mandatory viewing for every metal fan!
