Spanish Thrashers MORDHIDA are back with “Holycaust”, the second single from their new LP, The Idiotic Principle.
In addition, the band has accompanied it with a videoclip directed by Cristina Garcia Galietero (Pampaneo Estudios)and starring Juan Bautista Noheda Cobo.
The band, which presented their new work last Thursday with A Dark Reborn, and which opens on December 17, has added:
“We really wanted to work with Cristina, we met her during the recording of the album and we knew that she would be ideal for what we wanted with this song. Of course, she has won her wings after what we made her suffer during filming”
Mordhida has taken advantage of the situation to present his new drummer, Manuel Martínez “Carnacki”, also drummer for the Valencian Black Metal band Vladek.
“It is a pleasure to finally introduce you to our new member, Manuel. We have had him hiding in the shadows for a few months, and what better time for him to make an appearance than in the video as an official presentation!”
Golden Robot Records recently announced the signing of the interesting and eclectic pairing of CHLOE TRUJILLO & RAV MEDIC. The duo are currently working hard in the studio on new music and offer a taste of the new product with their new single ‘Mana’ which is available now on all digital platforms.
Chloe has been forging a career as a solo artist and Mark Dalbeth was part of the highly respected Australian rock act Bellusira.
‘Mana’ is the premiere single for Golden Robot Records from Chloe Trujillo & Rav Medic! Musically dynamic, ‘Mana’ harnesses the traditions of hard rock & metal, with elements of spanish guitar anchoring the end. Lyrically, Chloe invites the listener on an odyssey, one that closes with an allegory to continue creating and doing what you love.
Born in Paris France, ChloeTrujillo has immersed herself in the art/music world from a young age. Her music is infused with anything from rap, metal, gypsy & blues. She first got her Visa through performing in NYC cabarets & musical theatre. From there, she was invited to LA by Gail Zappa to record the Frank Zappa cover ‘The Torture Never Stops’. Chloe is also wife of Robert Trujillo from Metallica/Suicidal Tendencies.
Mark, who is originally from New Zealand, made the move to Australia and started rock outfit Bellusira, who went on to release two notable albums and move to America briefly under management from Will Hunt (Evanescence). The band toured the USA a few times and had Koichi Fukuda from Static-X take over guitar duties. Once that project came to an end, Mark decided to stay in America and continue his musical pursuit.
Both parties met in early 2021 when asked to be a part of the Global Green Charity Event held at the Troubadour in LA.
After connecting online and having a mutual respect for each other’s music, Trujillo and Mark suggested the idea of doing a collaboration. The track ‘Lightning Strikes Twice’ was the outstanding result. The feedback from the single was strong and they both enjoyed working together so much, that they decided to continue to work together under the banner Chloe Trujillo & Rav Medic.
Solid Ground, a track from taken from WILLE & THE BANDITS’ forthcoming album When the World Stood Still, reflects the concern and hypocrisy that is felt when continuing with life as we know it, recognising that we are not acting to protect the planet for our children.
Watch the climate conscious official music video below.
Solid Ground was released on November 10th. The new album When The World Stood Still will be released by Fat Toad Records on January 28, 2022 via www.willeandthebandits.com
As many of the world leaders meet to discuss climate change this powerful and emotive song, accompanied by an equally compelling video, aims to get the message across with music. Following in the footsteps of many great songs of the past, current issues should be at the forefront of music culture, driving change, not hiding in the shadows. Music is the voice of the people, let it be heard.
Says Wille Edwards, lead singer and guitarist of Wille & The Bandits, “Every time I look at my children and think of their future, I worry for them; that the world will be a very different place, one with more pain and suffering and I want to do what I can to help. Music is my way of trying to help the cause.”
The song features Wille’s dynamic voice stating that he wants his children “walking on solid ground” and for any parent bringing children into this world there is always the anxiety of what world we are leaving for our children, even more so now with the “code red” warning given to humanity.
The song has shades of peak John Martyn about it and features a guitar solo which weeps and howls as if Peter Green has been transported back to planet earth. The video which accompanies the single features some of the tens of millions of people that took part in the “Global Day of Action for Climate Justice” across the world as well as many children who’s homemade made signs to ask leaders to act now. This movement needs a voice and music needs to be that voice.

Raising from the gloomy darkness KORPSESOTURI will release their third album in 2022 via Xtreme Music. It will be heavier and more depressing than anything since the very beginning of the band!
With the two previous albums Malus Corpus (Rotted Life records 2018) and Korpskrist (Xtreme Music 2020) Korpsesoturi has been making its own rotten path with finnish lyrics, pushing the listeners against the wall with the aggressions and pushing their guts into their throat and tearing their souls in small pieces! No excuses, no polishing – just pure raw old school death metal as it should be done! Live torment is one of the main part of Korpsesoturi in the past and will be also in the future. Primitive energy and killer strike straight into audience vains!
After well over one thousand concerts in their home country, five successful studio albums to date and a platinum award for their latest release Revolt, Czech modern metal band DYMYTRY – who just recently signed a worldwide deal with AFM Records – has opted for a step that is unusual in two respects: Revolt, originally recorded exclusively in Czech, will be the first Dymytry album to also be released in an English language version, as well as introducing a new, additional singer!
“Four years ago we came up with the idea of expanding our musical operating radius beyond the Czech Republic. We probably wanted to get out of our comfort zone and try something new and different. After translating a few of our tracks into English, we started to look at the option of playing some shows abroad,” bassist Artur “R2R” Mikhaylov explains. After a joint single with German act Hämatom in September 2018, both bands went on tour together in October 2018; these were Dymytry‘s first shows outside their home country. Mikhaylov: “The tour proved to us that our music also works for an international audience, and in English.” So the band decided to take this remarkable step, and the band’s first international output, Revolt, will be released on January 14, 2022 through AFM Records. “We want to show to the world that there is great music in the Czech Republic, too,” Mikhaylov explains. “We feel that our first English album is a very strong record, we really put everything into it.“
But give ear, as today the band has premiered a first song, whose original Czech version has already been a huge success! Watch the brand new video clip for Dymytry‘s 2.0 Version of ‘Chernobyl’ right here:
The brand new English version of the much acclaimed Revolt album will be the first Dymytry album featuring the new and additional singer Alen „A.L.“ Ljubic. Dymytry will continue to work with vocalist Protheus in the Czech Republic and with Alen on the international market, especially since the band think highly of both frontmen. Says Mikhaylov: “We’re really happy with how Alen has recorded the vocals on the ‘Revolt’ album. He has a fantastic and versatile voice, a broad range and really good energy, a combination which has infused our material with a new dimension and lots of power. Also he’s very passionate about the band, so we’re grateful to have him on board. Protheus is also an awesome front man with a charismatic voice, plus he’s got a huge talent for writing lyrics with a lot of depth and hidden meaning. In addition, he’s a dab hand at leading the audience.”
So there’s every sign of a storm brewing when Dymytry, featuring its three main songwriters Mikhaylov, Jiri “Dymo” Urban and Jan “Gorgy” Görgel (both guitar) as well as with exciting guest appearances by Joakim Lindbäck Eriksson of Brothers Of Metal and ex- Rage guitarist Victor Smolski, will present its successful Revolt album to an international audience for the first time on January 14, 2022 via powerhouse AFM. The twelve album tracks all practically burst with a high-voltage energy, strong melodies and powerful rhythms driven by mercilessly modern metal!
Windsor’s Alt Pop/Rock artist JARED ANTHONY released his new single “Over My Head” via UnitedMasters today along with a premiere of his official music video on Alternative Press.
“Over My Head” features Evan Stanley(son of Paul Stanley) on lead guitar, Matt Noveskey (Blue October) on bass and Will Knaak (Blue October) is on rhythm guitar.
Jared Anthony is an edgy, melodic rapper/singer/songwriter/producer from Ontario, Canada. His musical style blends many influences of pop, rock, and alternative, with a heavy melodic hip hop vibe, but with an eclectic and creative new kind of sound that makes Jared Anthony stand out.
“This blending of genres and hybrid sound only seems to be increasing in popularity with music fans and Jared Anthony is at the forefront of this current hybrid nature in popular music,” says manager John Gomez.
Jared Anthony’s new single “Over My Head” features guest musicians from platinum-selling alternative rock band Blue October and Evan Stanley, son of KISS legend Paul Stanley. Additionally, Jared Anthony’s song “Mayday” was a featured track last year in the best-selling basketball series video game, NBA 2k. His music has garnered over 14 million streams on Spotify, nearly 200k monthly listeners, and his fan base continues to grow exponentially.
“Over My Head” marks the first official release via a new partnership with music industry executive Steve Stoute’s music platform, UnitedMasters. Stoute, who is the founder and CEO of UnitedMasters and Translation, recently closed a $50M Series C at a $550M valuation to further support and empower the artists they work with to find commercial success in the creator economy. UnitedMasters, meanwhile, has helped launch the careers of artists like platinum-selling rapper NLE Choppa, plus Lil Tecca, Tobe Nwigwe, Lil XXEL and others.
“I’m pumped about this partnership and new musical vibe that showcases a more alternative edgy sound than my previous releases,” says Jared Anthony.
“This track serves as the first taste of what’s to come and now that the pandemic is almost behind us, I can’t wait to finally start playing live shows soon,” adds Jared Anthony.
“UnitedMasters has an amazing team of like-minded creatives who sincerely want to see their artists succeed in the music industry and grow into global acts,” said Gomez. “Jared’s music is lit and he’s setting the bar in a unique niche. His songs have clearly connected with fans, the production is super clean, and his melodies carry emotion that breaks the rap mold.”
Along with veteran artist manager John Gomez, Jared Anthony is co-managed by famed MTV VJ personality Matt Pinfield and represented by United Talent Agency. UTA is one of the world’s leading global talent, sports, and entertainment companies. New tour dates are slated to commence for Jared Anthony early 2022. Dates will be announced soon.
