The split will be released in February as 12 panels digi pack in the shape of an inverted cross, as regular Black gatefold, heavy Lp and die-hard version in March / April. Split contains 8 songs, including intros done by Ludo “Evil” Lejeune. One song from Vulture Lord is still with the vocals recorded by Nefas.
Musicians of Vader, Mork and Enshadowed have taken part in Black Altar part of the split. Cover art was done by Jenglot Hitam.
We want to remind you that Vulture Lord is back after 18 years with a new album “Desecration Rite” which was released in August 2021, also by Odium Records.
You can expect nothing less but pure hate, bestiality and devotion to old black metal ideals from these black metal veterans.
THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA are back! The band that formed out of some prestigious rock- and metalbands (SOILWORK, ARCH ENEMY, MEAN STREAK) more than ten years ago and simply amazed the audience all over the world.

After building a groundswell of buzz for its arrival, BASTILLE unveil their anxiously awaited new album Give Me The Future today via Republic Records. Listen to Give Me The Future HERE.
The band set the stage for the record with their latest single “Shut Off The Lights” and announces today they will be performing the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden on February 15th (check local listings). In addition, the song has garnered over 5 million global streams and has incited widespread applause from tastemakers. V Magazine urged it “might just be the highest they’ve ever gone,” while Entertainment Tonight noted it “focuses on staying in the moment and touches on the intimate connection humans experience with one another.” Watch the official music video for “Shut Off The Lights” HERE.
Heightening anticipation, Clash graded the record “8-out-of-10” and raved, “‘Give Me The Future’ offers listeners a healthy amount of escapism to push through and adopt a degree of optimism.” As part of an extensive profile, Associated Press exclaimed, “With techno beats, ‘80s retro futuristic tones and sweeping production, Bastille’s 13-track ‘Give Me The Future’ dives in to the world of science-fiction, exploring the way technology can be a tool for escape.” Forbes applauded the album “a brilliant allegory for the state of the world in 2022, one that is smart and can make you dance” and NME called it “a perfect soundtrack to life after lockdown.”
Not to mention, the band also recently launched the FutureScape Dream Analyser website, where fans can input their dreams and create short-form videos based on their description using AI technology.
To celebrate the album, Bastille will embark on the US leg of their upcoming “Give Me The Future Tour” this summer. The US tour dates kick off on May 14th in Memphis, TN and make stops in Los Angeles on May 20th, New York on June 7th, and more—see the full list of tour dates below. Tickets are on sale now at https://www.bastillebastille.com/. In April, the band will return to arenas for the first leg of their tour (with many dates already sold out) before heading out to the US for dates in May and June.
Laced with references to sci-fi films and literature, video games and VR, Bastille’s new albumGive Me The Future explores a futuristic wonderland free from restrictions—each song a different danceable dreamscape, a place where you can travel back and forward in time to be anyone, do anything, and embrace a new wave of technology, which enables us to get lost inside our imagination.
It’s a record that takes the idea of the limitless possibilities of the future and journeys everywhere from a joyride of escapism on the uplifting “Thelma + Louise” – a tribute to the iconic feminist film on its 20th anniversary – to 80’s New York with the artist Keith Haring on the bright and whistling “Club 57” to a hospital bed in Australia for the devastating but hopeful “No Bad Days.” You’ll hear disco basslines, orchestras of synths, guitars, futuristic gospel, spaceship sounds, euphoric strings, vocoders, talk boxes, a choir of roadies, and host of beats. The title track “Give Me The Future” tips its hat to Phil Collins and The Police, “Shut Off The Lights” is a sonic love letter to Paul Simon’s Graceland, and “Stay Awake” nods to Daft Punk and Quincy Jones.
Having thrown themselves into co-writing for other artists in recent years, for the first time ever on a Bastille album, the band inched open the door to collaborators. Although primarily produced by Dan Smith and long-term production partner Mark Crew, the band also worked with a handful of writers and producers to expand the world. “Distorted Light Beam” was co-written and produced with Ryan Tedder (Adele, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift), who also helped as a sounding board and executive producer for the album. “Thelma + Louise,” “Stay Awake,” and “Back To The Future” were co-written with legendary songwriter Rami Yacoub (Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time”, Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Album). They also worked with British writers Jonny Coffer, Plested, and Dan Priddy to bring the album to life.
You’ll also hear the voice of award-winning actor, musician, writer, creator, producer, director, and activist Riz Ahmed on a spell-binding and evocative spoken word piece called “Promises.” Riz’s piece was a response the album and brings its overarching themes into sharp focus.
Over the course of their previous three albums, Bastille have cemented a reputation for building whole worlds around their releases, often doing so with innovative, award-winning creativity. Give Me The Future is no different, this time accompanied by a fictional, but familiar, tech giant called Future Inc., the creators of an invention called “Futurescape”—a device which allows users to live out their dreams virtually. It’s weaved through every element of the campaign and can be seen in the videos for the previous singles—“Distorted Light Beam,” “Thelma + Louise,” and “No Bad Days.” Watch Bastille talk about the inspiration behind Future Inc. HERE.

After coming to our attention in 2020 GHOSTS OF SUNSET are really establishing themselves as a major player on the hard rock scene. The band have clocked up several hundred thousand streams for their recent singles ‘No Saints In The City’, ‘Look Me Up (If You Come Down)’ and ‘If You’re Not Coming Back’.
‘Queen of Used to Be’ is their latest single and has just been released via Golden Robot Records on all digital platforms. ‘Queen of Used to Be’ further confirms GHOST OF SUNSET’s status as a breakout band in the hard rock scene and keeping the sound of Hollywood and the Sunset Strip!
‘Queen of Used to Be’: Everywhere from reality television to the gutters of the city are littered with former somebody’s who are forced to wrestle with the realization that the cycle continues turning; new stars are shining and it’s all happening without them.
GHOSTS OF SUNSET have also announced that their album No Saints in the City will be released digitally on 4th March.
No Saints in the City finds GHOSTS OF SUNSET expanding on the sound of their debut EP Headed West and welcoming even more influence from various genres of music and artists. No Saints in the City while not a true concept project like Headed West was, takes listeners on a guided tour of the world inside the world of New York City (although it could truly be ANY large city, anywhere in the world). The songs follow various characters as they seek everything from fame, love, redemption to freedom, oblivion, darkness, and dirt.
After one full listen to No Saints in the City listeners will find the slightest trace of dirt beneath their fingernails and lasting imprints upon their soul. Every day across the world, human beings head for various epicenters of art, culture, commerce, life, sex, and death looking to discover who they are or forget who they were.
The music on No Saints in the City carries the imprint of an urban environment after the sun hides its face for the day, and the moon takes over, catching the outline of figures slipping between cars, dodging taxis, hustling, shuffling, stealing, dealing, living and dying while the rhythm of the streets continues to plod a non-stop beat that catches many unable to keep pace.
Each song features guest musicians who were hand-picked for their ability to tell these urban tales via their respective voices and instruments and help bring life to the characters whose stories No Saints in the City shares with the world.
REdEFINED released their new single “IMAGES” along with the official music video today. The single is from their EP also titled IMAGES that was produced/mix/mastered by Zack Dufort of Exodian Studios. In addition, the band has announced show dates with Texas Hippie Coalition.

Guitarist Taylor Nordberg (THE ABSENCE, INHUMAN CONDITION), who recently joined Florida death metal veterans DEICIDE, spoke about how he landed the gig in a new interview with “The Zach Moonshine Show“. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “In 2019, my band THE ABSENCE toured with DEICIDE in the U.S. And we got to know the guys and got along really well. And I actually found out that Glen [Benton, DEICIDE frontman] lives, like, two streets over from Jeramie [Kling, THE ABSENCE drummer] and I, where we live. So Jeramie and Glen became good buddies and they ride bikes all the time. It’s a funny little thing, thinking about that. But long story short, [previous DEICIDE guitarist] Chris [Cannella], I believe he’s the head of A&R at Dean Guitars so he’s focusing on that for right now. I heard that they needed a guitar player, so I learned a couple of songs, made a couple of videos, and Glen saw ’em and liked what he saw. So, we had a couple of practices, and bing bang boom, here we are.”
Asked if he has worked on any new material with DEICIDE or if he has just been focusing on getting the old songs down, Taylor said: “Well, when they first asked me to start learning songs, they said, ‘Start learning [the] ‘Legion’ [album], because this year is the 30th anniversary of ‘Legion’. So later on in the year, we’re gonna be playing it start to finish live. So that’s been the main focus over the last couple of weeks — just hammering down those ‘Legion’ songs, which that’s been a blast to just delve into those tunes and that songwriting… Right now, we’re focusing on the ‘Legion’ stuff and then, obviously, me just trying to learn a full set. Otherwise, there is new songs that we’ve been working on. Like I said, we’re kind of just focusing on the ‘Legion’ stuff for right now, but there’s definitely a ton of killer new material on the way. I don’t know what the time frame is — when we’ll record or anything like that — but there is new music, and it’s killer so far.”
Cannella amicably left DEICIDE last month after a three-year run.
When Benton first announced Nordberg ‘s addition to DEICIDE, he said in a statement: “We are pleased to announce and welcome Taylor Nordberg to the DEICIDE family! An amazing and accomplished guitarist who takes our sound to the next level and brings a profound level of professionalism that completes and compliments the DEICIDE machine!”
Cannella said in a separate statement: “Yes, it is true. I am no longer in DEICIDE. There is no drama and we all kept it quiet as to not lead into drama or speculation.
“I have all the love and respect for Glen, Steve and Kevin. I had so many great times over the last three years I cherish for a lifetime, especially the friendship.
“Cheers to all and thanks for all the love and support. I’m excited for what’s to come.”
Cannella joined DEICIDE in 2019 following the departure of guitarist Mark English.
English became a member of DEICIDE in 2016 after the exit of longtime guitarist Jack Owen.
DEICIDE ‘s latest album, “Overtures Of Blasphemy”, was released in September 2018 via Century Media.
