In 2019, the metal world was introduced to ALIGN THE TIDE, a brutally heavy, technically dazzling new group from an unlikely locale, the beautiful, sun-soaked Mediterranean country of Malta. The quartet released their debut album Dead Religion with mega-indie label Cleopatra Records that year and quickly gained a solid following thanks to a superior combo of monster riffs, thundering drums and dark, heavy lyrical themes. Today, the band returns with an even fiercer sound, a newly expanded line-up and a brand new single, “Judgement.” Now a five-piece, ATT have brought onboard another guitarist as well as a new vocalist who hails across the sea from the state of Texas, USA. Together, this devastating quintet are set to attract attention worldwide as they prepare for a new full-length release coming in 2022.
The band shares these thoughts on the new single, “‘Judgement’ is a well-produced & proper introduction into what ATT has planned for the future: very catchy rhythms, harsh riveting vocals, killer breakdowns and everything else in between. We all hope that you will enjoy this euphonious masterpiece!”
Fans can stream the single and get their first glimpse at the newly revitalized ATT in the video for “Judgement!”
Alt-metallists, WALKWAYS, have returned with a brand new single, “You Found Me.” Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, the band – Ran Yerushalmi (vocals), Bar Caspi (guitar), Yoni Menner (guitar), Avihai Levy (bass), and Priel Horesh (drums) – will also soon be returning to the concert stage, including a headline show on Sept. 27 at Barby Club in Tel Aviv, plus headlining the Kineret Open Air festival in Israel on Oct. 22-23.
“‘You Found Me’ is a song telling the story of how after a devastating betrayal in a past relationship,” explains Ran. “I lost myself completely in rage and overwhelming urges for revenge. I lost all ability to love, or be romantic in any way, let alone care about anyone or anything. Then came the woman who later became my wife – she was strong enough and cared enough to be there for me and love me through my lowest points and slowly teach me to love and be truly happy again. The song is written to her. This song is also a message to remind people who are down, depressed, heartbroken, or going through hard times – it always gets better. Stay strong through the tough times and look for the positive light to help you through them.”
The singer also had this to say about the song’s striking video. “The video was shot over a span of a couple days in a beautiful music studio in Jerusalem, and several locations throughout Israel. As a part of trying to maintain our DIY mindset, half of the video shots, and all of the editing was done in-house by the band itself. It was very weird for us to play seated, we are used to performing and shooting videos standing up, but the warmth of the studio and the vibe of this song went perfectly with this approach.”
Walkways’ most recent album, ‘Bleed Out, Heal Out,’ was released in 2019 on Nuclear Blast Records, receiving striking reviews in various international magazines and music blogs. ‘Bleed Out, Heal Out’ displays a unique mix of alternative metal and metalcore, a style that combines heavy riffs and soft parts, emotional melodies and a wide range of vocal styles. The album was self-produced by the band, mixed by the band’s very own Priel Horesh, and mastered by Ermin Hamidovich at Systematic Productions.
Walkways has shared the stage with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, In Flames, Devin Townsend, Jinjer, and many more, and the band is now working on their third full length album – along with their impending return to live concerts.
Just recently the band released the Trilogy of “Midnight Waylay” album. Presented by lead vocalist and songwriter Tornado Bearstone the Trilogy gives you insights to what’s behind the songs and the stories. In case you missed them, watch below.
“Midnight Waylay” is available for streaming on all major platforms, at this location.
Tornado on “Midnight Waylay” album: “Midnight Waylay depicts a ‘taking it easy in the daytime, turning into a beast at night’ kind of lifestyle. Just like a hunter strikes from the shadows, ruthless and silent, these songs can without warning rock your world. As a concept the album Midnight Waylay is best appreciated when served whole, but each song has its own character and works well independently. Find your own adventure, let yourself loose!”
Kimmo Kuusniemi, Godfather of Finnish heavy metal, on Gentle Savage’s debut album “Midnight Waylay”: “Listening to Gentle Savage reminds me of Deep Purple! That’s not bad at all!”
Tornado stated on the album coverart: “TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY Isn’t it strange that when you get something really big done you are at the same time relieved and a bit confused?! That’s how it feels like right now. The cover art was created by our friend, graphic art wizard Vin Valentino. Vin and vocalist Tornado created the Midnight Waylay world based on Tornado’s visions of a Rock Band descending down to earth using a ‘stairway to heaven’. That’s Tornado’s way of showing his gratitude to the old great ones who showed the Rock’n Roll way for latter generations to roll. “
“It is all about the songs. And their internal message. That’s the basic philosophy behind Gentle Savage.”
GENTLE SAVAGE are: Tornado Bearstone, songwriter, vocals and guitar Jay B, drums and backing vocals Vance Bead, bass and backing vocals Tim O`Shore, guitar and backing vocals Theo van Boom, keyboards and backing vocals

Just recently the band announced that the recordings of their upcoming album will start soon. More information TBA.
About the upcoming album Jonathan revealed: “Again this time we will talk about Friuli, and the theory is at work that the location of the American Air Force Base Aviano is used to control an ancient access to the underground world, which has been used by the pagan gods since ancient times. The magical rites of the inhabitants of the mountains and the places where elves, fairies and gnomes once lived among the people are revealed. There are already definitive titles such as The Sound of the Earth in F sharp minor. A text tells how you can use the beneficial energy of the trees at dawn to strengthen your energies, but there will be no lack of historical events that accompany every CELTIC HILLS album.”
“Mystai Keltoy” (which is an enigmatic name that alludes to the Eleusian Mysteries) was released on May 15th 2021 via Elevate Records, and it’s inspired by themes ranging from ancient alien civilizations, European pyramids, legends and historical facts of Friuli, as you can already guess from the album cover. The disc was recorded and produced at the Groove Factory in Udine by Michele Guaitoli, a prominent name for being the lead singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis, Era.
“Mystai Keltoy” Tracklist: The Light Blood is not water The tommorrow of our sons The 7 heads dragon of Osoppo Landing of the Gods Already lost Falling stars Battle of Frigidum Eden (sung by Germana Noage) Temple of love Alliteratio (sung in Italian)
The formation of the power trio is Simone Cescutti on drums, Jacopo Novello on bass and Jonathan Vanderbilt on vocals and guitars. The cover is hand painted by Sheila Franco, the same girl who painted Blood Over Intents, and represents the myth of the ancient visitors. Jonathan Vanderbilt played and recorded the album with Panico Custom instruments, the Italian sponsor of custom lutherie of Luca Panico di Ravenna, a guitar specially created with the specifications requested by the Canadian guitarist.
CELTIC HILLS were born in 2010, in 2020 they sign a recording contract with Elevate Records with which they release the album “Blood over Intents” and the EP “Schrage Musik” both in 2020. In 2021 another album is out “Mystai Keltoy” produced and recorded by Michele Guaitoli singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis and Era. The style played is difficult to place in a single vein of metal, as there are many influences ranging from death to power, with sound elements that can also recall a certain type of 90’s thrash. The singing is quite varied, and for some listeners it may seem unusual in a metal band. power, speed and good melodic lines distinguish the band from others. Between 2010 and 2020 they released “Horns helmet fighters” and for the Slovak Music Globalliance they came out on international compilations on volumes 2,3,4.

German black metal experimentalists DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT will be releasing a brand new-full length, ‘Noktvrn,’ on November 19 via Season of Mist! The band is now premiering a live version of the album track “Monument.” This special version of the song, which differs from the official mastered cut that appears on the record, was recorded in the Ghost City Recording studio on the last day of ‘Noktvrn’s’ recording sessions with a special 360° VR camera. Grab your VR-goggles and watch the video at THIS LOCATION.
The band comments: “Today we’re presenting the second new track off ‘Noktvrn’ in form of a 360° virtual reality live session that we recorded on the very last day of our studio session just before packing all the gear and leaving the place. It’s been a quite spontaneous idea and what you see and hear is the first out of three takes we did with the camera standing right in the middle of the room. Grab your phone (and some decent headphones please) or even a pair of virtual-reality glasses and enjoy! You can also watch it on the computer and move around in the room using the mouse, of course. This is, however, not the take that ended up on the album, although it has been more or less mixed the same way. There are some small differences between the album version (to be found on the streaming platforms) and this live session – if you listen closely and compare, you might notice!”
‘Noktvrn‘ is available for pre-ordering in the Season of Mist shop on CD digipak, Deluxe CD + DVD box, Vinyl and Cassette HERE. Pre-save the album HERE.
The cover artwork of ‘Noktvrn’ was created by Max Löffler.
