THUNDER RISING Release New Lyric Video ‘Master of Destiny’

Rising heavy metal force Thunder Rising have officially unleashed the first blistering track from their anticipated new album, Horizon Line, in the form of the lyric video, “Master of Destiny.” This isn’t just a song, it’s a declaration, a mandatory, riff-driven anthem that promises to shatter your speakers and rewind the clock to the golden age of hard rock and metal, all while sounding powerfully modern.

Thunder Rising blends modern tones with vintage-style songwriting, defining their signature “Real Vintage” sound. Drawing on experience from the late ’70s and ’80s with Italian bands Firehouse and Arachnes, the new album channels riffs reminiscent of Deep Purple and Rainbow, while embracing the melodic sensibilities of Journey and Boston.

Using classic gear—Hammond organs, Fender guitars, Marshall amps—alongside modern instruments and recording techniques, the result is a sound that’s both powerfully vintage and crystal clear. Solid song structures, guitar virtuosity, and standout vocals take listeners on a journey of exploration and emotion—a metaphorical road trip through music and memory.

Defecto is a Copenhagen-based metal band formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Nicklas Sonne, guitarist Frederik Møller, and bassist Thomas Bartholin.

Known for their combination of technical precision, melodic strength, and emotional intensity, the band has become one of the most respected names in the modern Danish metal scene.

With three studio albums, two EPs, and several acclaimed festival appearances (Copenhell, RockFest Finland) and support slots with Metallica and Rammstein, Defecto has consistently pushed the envelope of progressive and cinematic metal.

Now, Frontiers Records proudly presents “Echoes Of Isolation”, the band’s most personal, intense, and introspective record yet – a concept album exploring the haunting landscape of mental illness and psychological struggles.

Nicklas Sonne stated: “Each song inhabits a different psychological struggle – insomnia, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, paranoia, dissociation, trauma – giving voice to the war within. This isn’t just a metal album. It’s a mirror held to the mind”.

“For us, it’s about turning pain into power, and creating something that can connect deeply with anyone who has ever felt broken, isolated, or misunderstood”
, he added.

Fans of Metallica, Symphony X or Evergrey will be captivated by the album’s cinematic power and progressive depth, driven by Sonne’s compelling vocals and razor-sharp songwriting.

Renowned for her electrifying guitar performances and soulful songwriting, Joanne’s vocals shine as she blends blues, rock, soul, and pop. The show also includes standout tracks from earlier albums and heartfelt tributes to classic blues legends. As one of today’s most dynamic performers, Joanne Shaw Taylor promises an unforgettable night of music.

The new album has received across-the-board rave reviews. Blues in Britain said, “JST is a great guitar player. On Black & Gold she’s on absolute top form,” while Bluestown Music professed, “Black & Gold is a true musical treat, wonderfully performed, immaculately produced.” Classic Rock’s 9/10 review said of the album, “Blues chanteuse strikes gold,” while Metal Planet Music declared, “Taylor’s songwriting ability is simply beyond reproach and continues to grow musically.”

Joanne will also perform songs from her rich back catalogue of albums including Heavy Soul, Nobody’s Fool, and The Blues Album which topped Billboard’s Official Blues Album Chart.

One of the highlights from Joanne’s new Black & Gold album is “Look What I’ve Become”—a haunting reflection on addiction, isolation, and the moment of choosing whether to fight or let go. The gripping track blends minor-key blues intensity with the cinematic sweep of a Bond theme, anchoring some of Joanne’s most confessional songwriting and driving it home with her incredible signature guitar tone.

“This song’s about hitting that crossroads,” Joanne shares. “It’s about the moment where you either change everything or disappear. The lyrics came from a very honest place—and I wanted the music to match that intensity.” Watch the official music video HERE.

Always one to push boundaries, Joanne’s union with Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records continues to flourish, ensuring that her music reaches her global fanbase. This relationship, alongside her innate creativity, guarantees a stream of sensational releases that cuts through the industry noise.

THE ALBUM: A MODERN EPIC

“The Silent Ruins of Mars” is a monumental work that captures the band’s essence across 13 powerful and evocative tracks. The album honors Ivory Moon’s symphonic and power metal roots while simultaneously pushing them towards a contemporary and refined sound.

KINGSPHERE was established at the turn of 2019 and 2020 in Rybnik, Upper Silesia In Poland. Initially, a two-person project, over time it turned into a full-fledged band that is currently actively performing. Kingsphere’s music is a clash of modern metal with old school melodic death metal, and all this is seasoned with a solid dose of electronics. The band has released two self-produced albums: “Enigmatic” (2022) and “Kingsphere” (2021), available in digital distribution on the most popular streaming platforms.

Today, Kingsphere is releasing brand new song titled “The Cursed Epitaph“.

Band comments new song: “A haunting and atmospheric journey through emotional turmoil, inner conflict, and the metaphysical. Blending heavy riffs with electronic textures, the track explores themes of life after death, the search for those who have departed, and the longing to cross into their world. With dynamic shifts, immersive soundscapes, and introspective lyrics, it reflects the struggle to break free from mental chains and confront the weight of memory, grief, and existential desire. A powerful blend of modern metalcore and cinematic depth“.

Marek Kula is responsible for audio production as well as cover artwork and lyric video.

HARKON Celebrate Release of “Love And Vore” Album with Third Single & Lyric Video ‘Blood Will Have Blood’

Since their formation, German individualists HARKON have been delivering sophisticated, melodic, and at the same time powerful HEAVY METAL.

After “The Errorist”, the North Rhine-Westphalians released their 3ʳᵈ single, “Blood Will Have Blood” on October 31.

Following their EP “Ruins Of Gold” (2019), the band’s long-awaited debut album “Love And Vore” is finally released via Doc Gator Records: a powerful work that balances catchiness and progressiveness, carried by strong hooks, anthemic choruses, and profound lyrics.

“‘Blood Will Have Blood’ is a proverb meaning that violence breeds more violence, a concept famously expressed by Macbeth in Shakespeare’s eponymous play. So this song is about action and consequence, about forgiveness and foolishness. About doing what maybe needs to be done even if it may seem like wasted time. Wait, is that why the song pays tribute to Iron Maiden’s ‘Wasted Years’ in the middle part? Who knows …”

For the powerful, transparent, and wonderfully organic overall sound of their songs, HARKON once again relied on a well-established producer duo: Cornelius Rambadt (Disbelief, Bonded, Sodom, The Very End) handled the recording and mixing, while Dennis Koehne (Lacuna Coil, Caliban, Orden Ogan) took care of the mastering.

The result is an organic, powerful, yet modern sound that perfectly captures the essence of Progressive and Melodic Heavy Metal.
