ARCHGOAT Unveil First Song ‘Heavens Ablaze’ from Upcoming Album

As a first taste of the coming album “Worship The Eternal Darkness“, Black Metal band ARCHGOAT and Debemur Morti Productions proudly unleash the first song ‘Heavens Ablaze‘. The new composition highlights the angelslaying trademarks of the Finnish horde while simultaneously avoiding stagnancy. Stomping drums, buzzing guitars and blasphemous screams/grunts are potently interwoven with Doom passages as well as subtle melodies and cutting lead guitars. ‘Heavens Ablaze‘ is a versatile hymn to the eternal darkness.

“Worship The Eternal Darkness” was recorded and sound engineered by Teemu Velin and produced by Ritual Butcherer. Legendary Chris Moyen (BEHERIT, INCANTATION) is, once again, responsible for giving visual form to ARCHGOAT‘s musical blasphemy. The layout was done by Kontamination Design, band photos by Arto Soini Photography.

“Worship The Eternal Darkness” will be released on CD, tape, vinyl, and digitally on November 26th. High quality merchandise (t-shirt, long sleeves shirt, and hooded/zip sweatshirt) will accompany the album. Pre-Orders are possible via the label’s EU, US, and Bandcamp shops.

Coinciding with the album release, ARCHGOAT will embark on a headliner tour through Europe together with Norwegian act WHOREDOM RIFE and Austrian Black Metal band THEOTOXIN. The tour is organized by District 19 and will start on November 25th in Prague. All dates may be found here.

LIVLØS Reveal New Single + Video ‘The Purest Black’

Death Metal Upstarts LIVLØS bring melodic death metal to new levels! Danish metal phenomenon LIVLØS have established themselves as an essential new name in the international metal scene, ready to shake up the landscape of modern death metal with their upcoming album, And Then There Were None, out October 22 via Napalm Records. Their brand of Scandinavian melodic death metal – influenced by bands like At The Gates and Carcass, and paired with American-rooted death metal in the vein of Death and The Black Dahlia Murder – has already earned the five-piece appearances at Copenhell, Eurosonic and Spot Festival.

After releasing the title track “And Then There Were None”, LIVLØS now present their second glimpse into the upcoming album with “The Purest Black”. LIVLØS go downtempo and truly evil with stomping drums, heavy guitars and punishing vocals – this song takes the listener through the diverse repertoire of the Danish powerhouse, combining Scandinavian metal influences with American-rooted metal!

On their new album, And Then There Were None, LIVLØS are audibly on top of their game: scrupulously ripping through nine tight, hard-lined tracks, the band takes no shortcuts while still maintaining a dynamic songwriting style that keeps listeners on their toes throughout the album’s runtime. Album opener and title track “And Then There Were None” sets the pace with punishing vocals and raging death metal riffs, leading into dramatic choruses and guitar solos that display LIVLØS’ incredibly multi-faceted talent right off the bat. Only very rarely will the band give listeners time to breathe, like on acoustic intermission “Kistefjael” or the slowed-down, stomping “The Purest Black”, which ends the album experience of And Then There Were None in a triumphant, epic manner. Songs like “Seize The Night” are impressive depictions of singer Niklas Lykke’s broad vocal range, reaching from deep and guttural to high-pitched and ear-piercing sections. 

Excellently mixed by Jacob Bredahl (ex-Hatesphere) and mastered by Brad Boatright (known for his work with Obituary, Nails and Torche among others), And Then There Were None is an exceptional display of LIVLØS’ confident, modern approach to melodic death metal, meticulously executed from start to finish – revealing more of what it has to offer with every listen. LIVLØS prove that they are here to stay with And Then There Were None!

ROYAL HUNT Debut CD ‘Land Of Broken Hearts’ Turns 30 Years – Collectors Edition Coming October 29th

The re-mastered version of ROYAL HUNT’s debut album – ”Land Of Broken Hearts” will be released on the 29th of October 2021 via NorthPoint Productions. It includes an extended booklet with rare pictures, “the making of” – story written by André Andersen and 5 bonus tracks. “Land of Broken Hearts” has previously been reissued on vinyl (Night of the Vinyl Dead) CD, and all digital platforms (NorthPoint Productions) in 2018.

We´ve been totally overwhelmed by the amount of requests reg. “Land of Broken Hearts” – re-issue of 2018 – which was then quickly sold out mostly at the stage of pre-orders.

DAN LORENZO to Host Ultimate Sinner on Sirius/XM Tomorrow September 22nd

Former Hades/Non-Fiction guitarist and founding member Dan Lorenzo will host Ultimate Sinner On Sirius/XM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard this Wednesday September 22nd at noon EST. The show will rebroadcast on Sunday September 26th at 9PM EST and again Monday September 27th at 6PM EST.

Lorenzo is currently active with two bands, Vessel Of Light and Cassius King. Both have releases on NomadEel Records. Vessel of Light is fronted by Ancient VVisdom’s Nathan Opposition and Cassius King has JasonMcMaster on vocals. Former Hades/Overkill drummer Ron Lipnicki and former Hades bassist Jimmy Schulman are involved with both Vessel Of Light and Cassius King.

Lorenzo will speak about the time COC’s vocalist Karl Agill sang a Black Sabbath cover with Non-Fiction in North Carolinaand the time Pantera’s Phil Anselmo sang the Non-Fiction song The My Way to Lorenzo in California. Lorenzo will alsoplay music by Alice In Chains, Kiss and Cassius King.

Italy- based heavy rockers SONIC WOLVES – (feat. former members of PENTAGRAM & UFOMAMMUT) – have announced the release of a very special tribute EP, entitled “It’s All A Game To Me”. Featuring two tracks dedicated to Motörhead icon Lemmy and Metallica’s Cliff Burton, this strictly limited Vinyl edition will be coming out on December 25, 2021 through Argonauta Records.

“We are proud to present you “It’s All A Game To Me”! Thanks to Argonauta Records for releasing it, this 12” EP features two songs written in tribute of two of our favorite musicians ever to exist; Lemmy and Cliff Burton.” The band comments. “Motorhead and Metallica (the Cliff era) are two of our favorite bands of all time and we felt that composing these songs serve to keep their memory alive in our own way. FAREWELL TO FEAR Release New Single & Video ‘Brainwashed’

U.S. active rockers FAREWELL TO FEAR have returned, armed with a new label and their cracking new single ‘Brainwashed’, out now across digital platforms, with the official music video available to view on YouTube.

FAREWELL TO FEAR was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Metallica, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The band revisits an era with big rock riffs, bigger choruses and huge anthems for a new generation of rockers.

The new single, ‘Brainwashed’, is as melodic and heavy as they come! It’s lyrically powerful with a deep meaning that will uniquely resonate with every listener and features heavy grinding guitars and a thundering rhythm section, coupled with haunting spine-tingling vocal melodies that elicit the deepest of emotions. To say ‘Brainwashed’ is bold by any standard is an understatement.

Farewell to Fear’s first full-length album New Blood, produced by Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day), generated an incredible three singles on Sirius XM’s Octane channel, a rare feat for an unknown band. As well as landing them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart and #8 on iTunes Rock chart, their debut album also earned them direct support from Howard Stern, including the rarest of moments on Stern’s show – airing an entire song as opposed to the normal 20 second snippet he usually shares. That track, ‘Diamonds’, recently eclipsed 2.4 million streams on Spotify. 

Inspired by the overwhelming success of New Blood, Farewell To Fear released their Legacy  EP, ultimately allowing them to seamlessly merge their skills and styles together to create heavy rock songs that deliver a strong punch to the gut, while staying melodic and delivering impactful lyrics hitting all ranges and octaves. 

Shortly following Legacy, the band released their album Voices. It was produced by Damien Starkey (Burn Season & Puddle of Mudd) and elevated the bands’ sound.
