Billy Graziadei/BillyBio Drops Video for ‘One Life To Live’ Following Social Media Leak

Iconic hardcore guitar player and frontman Billy Graziadei has a new full length BillyBio album coming out on AFM Records in 2022 titled Leaders And Liars. Earlier this week a video was unwittingly leaked by sometime Graziadei collaborator Lindsay Martin on her Instagram @drummerlinz. From there it spread quickly over various platforms. Ghost Cult Magazine picked up the story and posted a news item HERE. Graziadei says “It blows my mind how fast things can spread on the internet! It’s not how I wanted everyone to hear about the new release but at least it’s something I’m proud of so I hope the fans enjoy it!”

Having been caught by surprise Graziadei and AFM Records have now officially posted the lyric video for the song “One Life To Live” HERE. The song is a call to action. It is an adrenaline drenched anthem inciting fans to stand up for what is right. “I love how every generation has their version of YOLO,” Graziadei says, “Life is too short to be worried about bullshit. Those, who let the crap out there consume them, get pushed to the grave quicker than everyone else.” The song features Graziadei’s long time friend Toby Morse (H2O, Hazen Street).

BillyBio is raw and gritty in the spirit of classic New York hardcore bands such as Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags and Crumbsuckers. Leaders And Liars borrows from the Biohazard legacy in that it also defies being pigeonholed. The album represents Graziadei’s love of punk, hardcore and classic metal (Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden), delivering a 15 song take-no-prisoners aural assault.  

“If you’re a fan of hardcore,” writes Cameron Morat Mouat for Metal Hammer, “then it’s hard not to be a fan of Billy Graziadei: a pioneer in the genre with Biohazard.”

Graziadei explains the album title saying: “We are born into this world as pure souls and then are poisoned by the nefarious darkness that surrounds us. Those who stay the path and navigate the blackness with success become real leaders, the rest rot away as liars and thieves.” He adds: “I dedicated this record to a friend from the record label Bauke de Groot (RIP) who helped me a lot when I first joined the AFM family.”

Graziadei wrote, performed, recorded and produced all fifteen tracks on Leaders and Liars in 2020 and 2021 at Firewater Studios in Los Angeles. In addition to recording and producing Biohazard there, he’s also had Powerflo, Madball, Agnostic Front, Devil Driver in the studio which he runs full time when not on tour. The record was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen. Additional musicians performing on the album include Fred Aching Rios (Powerflo) on drums; Ra Dias (Suicidal Tendencies, currently touring with KORN) on bass; Daniele Manca on bass; Dan Palmer (Death by Stereo, Zebrahead) on guitar; Robbie Davidson (The Exploited) on guitar. All-Star Charity Project SAVE THE NOIZE’s New Single + Video ‘Save The Noize 2’ Out Now

SAVE THE NOIZE is a charity project started by Rasmus Harnesk Wiklund (Hårdrock – För Fan! – Podcast, Corey Duvette, Veritas) and Jesper Lindgren (Velvet Insane) at the end of 2020. The project was started in benefit of “Musikerförbundets crisis foundation”. In April 2021 the song “Save The Noize ” was released under the roof of “Sound Pollution Distribution”, on digital streaming services alongside a music video for the song. The track was written by Erik Modin (Wildness) and Martin Sweet (Crashdiet). The song was produced by Roger Bergsten (Nevo Studios), mastered by Thomas Plec and the music video was produced by Gustav Kronfelt who has done music videos for Dregen and Electric Boys, to name a few. The covid – 19 pandemic has stricken hard toward everybody, not to say at least towards musicians in Sweden and around the world. Musicians from USA, Sweden, Norway and Denmark therefore came together under the banner of “Save The Noize”, to collect money for charity. Like Swedish Metal Aid in 1985 or Hear ‘n Aid in 1986, where musicians came together for charity, but this time they all came together to save their own jobs and their own community.

Artists that guested this modern and socially relevant track was to name a few, Tony Harnell (TNT), Jesper Binzer (D.A.D), Åge Sten Nilsen & Trond Holter (WIG WAM), Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper). A total of 30 something musicians and artists came together for this common cause. Now after this fantastically successful project, Rasmus Harnesk Wiklund and Jesper Lindgren presents: “Save The Noize 2”. Save The Noize version 2 is a pure follow up to the first track. It’s the same track but in a totally new and different take. Fewer artists are guesting the second track but bigger names get to take place, with the focus on the international market. With this version and with the accompanying music video, we want to show that the light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. Musicians can slowly but surely come out and play, travel on the roads and come back to their jobs. We want to give hope and show that we made it through this together. In benefit of Musikerförbundets crisis foundation.

QUIET RIOT’s Longtime Bassist CHUCK WRIGHT Releases First Official Single & Video ‘Army Of Me’ From Debut Solo Album

Long-time bassist for multi-platinum rockers QUIET RIOT, Chuck Wright, proudly presents the release of the first single from his new solo album. Wright has also worked alongside such rock music luminaries as Alice Cooper, Greg Allman, Ted Nugent, various members of Guns N’ Roses and Kiss to name a few, and now embarks on his first-ever solo excursion. 

The first single is a hard-rocking, intense interpretation of Björk’s 1995 hit “Army of Me” and is accompanied by a video that represents Wright’s exploration into disorder and parallels with the recent chaotic state of world affairs. The visuals include a 3D animation of an “army” of Ruth Bader Ginsburgs, the late Supreme Court Justice, feminist icon, and steadfast advocate for women’s rights and gender equality. “I chose to recognize the late Justice Ginsburg in this video as she was such a formidable presence on and off the bench. She challenged the status quo knocking down legal obstacles to women’s equality and inspired an army of believers.” 

The track “Army Of Me” features several of Wright’s musical peers including the late Pat Torpey (Mr. Big) on drums, guitarist Lanny Cordola (House of Lords), and Sven Martin (Jonathan Davis Band) on keyboards along with songstress Whitney Tai, the recent “Best Vocalist” winner at The Intercontinental Music Awards.

Dariusz “Daray” Brzozowski is one of the most recognized drummers within the metal scene. Well known for his extreme drumming, blastbeats, precision and supersonic speeds, he earned his reputation through the years and was repeatedly valued for his achievements. Extensively touring the world with his bands. He played over a 1000 shows.

Born in 1980, he got his first kit at the age of 14. His story began with the band Vesania, and was continued in Vader, Masachist, Hunter, Black River. He’s also a session musician for multiple bands. Today, drumming for Vesania and Dimmu Borgir and being an active clinician and educator, he remains in the lead of worlds‘ uncompromising drummers.

THE LURKING FEAR, the old-school Death Metal group from Sweden featuring members of At The Gates, Disfear, God Macabre, Skitsystem, Tormented and The Haunted in their illustrious line-up, are releasing their anxiously awaited sophomore album “Death, Madness, Horror, Decay” today via Century Media Records worldwide.

IGNITE Release Video for First Single “The River” from Upcoming Self-Titled Album Led By New Vocalist Eli Santana

Orange County-based Hardcore titans IGNITE are back with the first single from their upcoming self-titled album! The new track, titled “The River”, is a high-energy affair that addresses the heavy subject matter of the toll felt by those who struggle with the US immigration system. Led by new lead vocalist Eli Santana (of Holy Grail fame), the band’s latest offering follows their ‘Anti-Complicity Anthem’ EP from earlier this year.

Speaking about the lyrical themes on their new single, the band comments, “‘The River’ takes a look at the dark and murky immigration issues that our country is facing at this very moment and the toll it is taking on children and their families.”
