Hailing from Mexico, JOHNNY NASTY BOOTS is a power trio that reminds us of those bands from the 60s and 70s, while also making rock music for their generation. ‘We’re Going Down’ is a representation of a man living through the end of the world, with the live version becoming one of the most intense moments of JOHNNY NASTY BOOTS’ live shows. Recorded in May 2021 for their ‘’Sótano Sessions’’, ‘We’re Going Down’ live is a moody, theatrical track for old and new fans alike.

The band’s first album was recorded at Sonic Ranch (Texas), under the production of Grammy award winner Yunuen Viveros, and mastered at Vlado Meller by Jeremy Lubsey. The band had 6 singles that came out from their debut album Johnny Nasty Boots (2017) and live album Hollywood Affair / Live At The Whisky A Go Go that was recorded at the iconic venue during their 2019 tour. They are a well-known band in the underground rock scene in Mexico. 

The last single from their debut album ‘Deadline’, became the #1 song of 2018 on the FM radio station Reactor 105.7. 

With more than 200 live shows, 6 tours all around Mexico, with 2 of them with dates in L.A. (USA), Johnny Nasty Boots have shared a stage with many international and national acts like Radio Moscow, L.A. Witch, 1000mods, Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses), Gin Wigmore, Brand Bjork, James Leg, The Risin’ Sun, Disidente and many more.

Scheduled for release on February 4, 2022, metanoia crosses genre boundaries with ease, mesmerizing the listener with dynamic songwriting and technical precision and proving PERSEFONE’s worthy position as longstanding favorites of progressive metal!
 
Featuring collaborations with standout artists like Steffen Kummerer (Obscura, Thulcandra), Einar Solberg (Leprous), Angel Vivaldi and Merethe Soltvedt (Two Steps From Hell), metanoia exploits the full potential of contrasts in every song, with each track representing a story evolving from beginning to end and constantly growing in strength – redefining typical musical boundaries. TEMPERANCE Release Captivating New Album Title Track “Diamanti”

After releasing “Pure Life Unfolds” & “Breaking The Rules Of Metal”, symphonic metal powerhouse TEMPERANCE reveals their upcoming album’s title track “Diamanti”. With the third single, the band enters the final round before the eponymous album arrives.
 
On “Diamanti”, TEMPERANCE show off their versatile skillset with a mix of heavy guitar riffs, orchestral strings and the vocal harmonies of its authentic Italian chorus. As a special highlight and to celebrate their new album, the band will release this song in five! different versions. Besides the Italian original which is out today, the track will come with a chorus in different languages (German, English, Spanish and French) to be available at digital streaming and download platforms on the album release date. TEMPERANCE delights the fans with their perfect mixture melodic and symphonic soundscapes. “Diamanti” is yet just another example of the band’s ability to create an epic tale for their listeners, accompanied by powerful and energetic vocals.

Since hopes are timeless and have no borders, we wanted to make this song flow through many languages. We wanted to use the language of music, which I represent in the video. HOWARD JONES Announces Acoustic Trio UK Tour 2022 with Nick Beggs & Robin Boult

Howard Jones Acoustic Trio embark on a 13-date UK tour at The Bath Forum on October 14, 2022. The tour will showcase an intimate stripped-down trip through Howard’s colourful 30-year music career.

The acoustic trio will feature Howard Jones on electric piano, guitarist Robin Boult (Roger Daltrey, Dave Stewart, Fish) and Nick Beggs (Kajagoogoo, Belinda Carlisle, John Paul Jones) on chapman stick. 

A 48-hour ticket pre-sale will start at 9am on Wednesday November 17 at www.howardjones.com. Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Friday November 19 at www.thegigcartel.com. Tickets are priced £27.50, £30.00, and £100 VIP.

Become a VIP ticket holder and pick the best available seats in the theatre, along with a VIP meet and greet* prior to the performance with Howard and a signed souvenir package. The acoustic shows will highlight a fresh take on Howard’s best-known hits and will provide a rare and intimate opportunity for the audience to hear first-hand about the inspiration behind Howard’s beloved material, plus fascinating recollections from his international touring career.

Hailed by many as an electronic music pioneer, Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past three decades, playing live in several configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. His most recent album, the Top 40 album Transform, is his first new studio album in nearly a decade. Originally released in 2019 to critical acclaim, Transform features several collaborations with electronica luminary BT.

“I am really excited about the trio tour we have planned for 2022,” says Howard. “Nick and Robin are dear friends and world class musicians and I love performing with them. After touring the trio in America, I thought the time was right for us to bring the fun of this acoustic show back home. I will play a range of songs from the HoJo canon including the hits old and new as well as some deep cuts and fan favourites.”

Howard Jones first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English song-writing and pioneering synthesizers. His first two albums Human’s Lib and Dream into Action were worldwide hits. Human’s Lib #1 in 1984 in the UK and featured the hits New Song, and What Is Love? 

In 1985, Jones released the follow-up, Dream into Action, which quickly became a Top Ten Platinum album in North America. It featured the smash hit singles Things Can Only Get Better, Life In One Day, No One Is To Blame, and Like To Get To Know You Well.

Howard Jones has sold over 8 million albums worldwide and continues to make new music and tour the world. He recently performed on NBC’s top-rated morning and night-time television shows respectively, Today and The Tonight Show (the latter hosted by Jimmy Fallon).

Latvian QUICKSTRIKE Release New Music Video “None of a Kind”

Latvian classic rockers QUICKSTRIKE will be releasing their debut album “None of a Kind” via Rockshots Records this coming February 2022. The full-length, clocking at over 40 minutes will feature 10 songs along with a bonus track exclusively on CD.

A no-nonsense experience of raw guitars, sweet tones, genuine vocals, and sweet emotions, each Quickstrike song is an event of its own and it’s all real to reel. Offering an all-around chamber of good ol’ classic rock n’ roll, the band delivers an authentic “what-you-get-on-the-record-is-what-you-get-live” experience. Take it or leave it, no refunds, as you will not want any – guaranteed. They are an encounter that will leave you dazed, amazed, crazed, and definitely craving for more. Establishing their permanent lineup in 2017, the quintet has been performing attested, high-quality rock n’ roll all over Europe as an unstoppable freight train gig after gig. Their momentum has even landed them a performance at the Baltic region’s largest motorcycle festival “Kurland Bike Meet” in 2018.

With the emergence of such bands as Greta Van Fleet, the sudden popularity of the Queen biopic, and the Guns n’ Roses reunion, they all point to one thing, good ol’ rock n’ roll is slowly preparing for its long-awaited return to the spotlight. Quickstrike‘s sound is reminiscent of those aforementioned bands and so much more as they prepare to share with the world their first full length that’s been three years in the making.

“While pre-production was started in 2018, the actual tracks were laid down and mixed at Hodila Records in 2019. The mastering process took place at White Wide Productions in 2021. This debut is a pandora’s box with a vintage feel, topped off with a mix of the band’s attitude and raw energy. We’re bringing the old school into the new decade – sonic satisfaction guaranteed. Album lyrics were mainly written by vocalist “Piggy” and rhythm guitarist “Ritchskies”. While drummer “Fourleaf Graves” very often adds a melody in his head for a song. Instrumentally, Quickstrike‘s songs have a pattern of “Ritchskies” constantly giving birth to riff after riff at each band practice or sometimes making them up on the go, he’s been dubbed “the riff machine”, and the band just builds from there.
