In 2003, LUNARSEA, arose from the ashes of the power-prog band called HOLLOWEARTH. After two demos the band released their debut full-length “Hydrodynamic Wave”, in 2006 via Burning Star Records. The next three albums “Route Code Selector” (2009), “Hundred Light Years“ (2013) and “Earthling/Terrestre” (January 2020) came out on Punishment18records. All albums have been very well welcomed by audience and the media. In these past years LUNARSEA have shared the stage with great acts like DEATH, DARK TRANQUILLITY, RAGE, ORPHANED LAND, IMPALED NAZARENE, FIREWIND, PRIMAL FEAR, PRIMORDIAL, SWALLOW THE SUN, INSOMNIUM, OBSCURA, DARKANE, NARGAROTH, EKTOMORF, SINISTER, LEAVE’S EYES, ABORTED, DARK FUNERAL, ASPHYX, THE HAUNTED, SEPTIC FLESH, just to name a few. Among the band’s highlights, so far, is the participation on “Where Death Is Most Alive Tour”, where the band won the contest directly organized by Century Media to open the gigs of Bologna and Rome during the tour of Dark Tranquillity and Insomnium in October 2010. Elements such as growling, screaming, clean vocals, blast beat, synths and tipically power-prog riffs are the core and the peculiarity of Lunarsea style and soul.

THE BRIDES OF THE BLACK ROOM Release Vindictive Manifesto in New Single “Mother Mother”

THE BRIDES OF THE BLACK ROOM is an artistic collective existing for the sole purpose of serving our eternal Mother. The harder the outside world has tried to destroy, the harder the collective has become. For every blow, they have grown stronger.

Presenting their debut with the track “Fire Disciple” in April, The Brides of the Black Room gave us what was to become the first of several singles released from their upcoming album “Blood & Fire” due in October 2021. Here, we first encounter the smooth and intriguing vocals of Ginger Khan aka Tom Åsberg (previously of Priest), as he guided us through the dark and heavy synth soundscapes of the collective’s refined productions.

In time for their sophomore singel, “Blood” the collective advanced in their vendetta by introducing cursecrafter Lea Alazam (singer in Besvärjelsen and former live drummer of REIN), as she undertook the blood ritual of her coven. This second episode gave us a deeper understanding and insight to The Brides of the Black Room’s cause, while simultaneously granting us a glimpse of their lair through the accompanying music video.

Now, the collective is making their next move by engulfing in the worship of a powerful female entity. Channelling wrath and sorrow, Arch Witch Carolina Lindahl (previously of The Operating Tracks) responds to an untamed strength repressed and encaged throughout history. A depiction of the revolution that is shaping the 2000 century.

With this the collective now moves on to the third episode of a story in ten parts called “Blood and Fire”.

Mother Mother is the third episode of the first season, and our biggest visual undertaking thus far. Featuring the Arch-Witch, Lea Alazam and Ginger Khan, as well as the ravenous and battle hungry Maenads; we invite you to our world of witchery and rebellion.

It is time to start pulling back the veil of the true Brides mythology. Forms are coming into focus, battlelines are drawn; and we get a glimpse into what sequence of events brought our trinity of characters together. Witness the Dawning of the Fire Disciples!”
– The Brides of the Black Room

“Mother Mother” is now available on all platforms via Icons Creating Evil Art.

Blacklight Media Records / Metal Blade Records is proud to welcome DEMISER to its worldwide roster!

Formed in 2018 out of the primordial ooze of the South Carolina metal scene, Demiser are veritable heavy metal heroes. With influences drawing from first wave black metal and 80s thrash alongside a healthy dose of NWOBHM, Demiser have quickly established a sound that is wholly their own. It’s gun-toting, throat-cutting blackened thrash metal to storm the gates of heaven…and it’s about to get bigger than ever.

The band comments: “Demiser cannot wait to vomit untold blasphemies unto the world with two of metal’s best in Blacklight Media and Metal Blade Records! With their support, all will soon surrender to sin…”

Since their humble beginnings, Demiser have been hard at work building up their name in the scene since their touring debut across the east coast and midwest in 2019. The release of their internationally lauded debut, Through The Gate Eternal, on Boris Records in 2021 was just another step in building a devout fanbase. The band has built up a reputation for larger than life, over the top live shows that leave frenzied fans begging for more. Slowly seeds are being sown – the next great heavy metal band is bubbling up out of the twisted South Carolina backwoods!

Now, having teamed up with Blacklight Media / Metal Blade, Demiser plan to continue writing and releasing aural hellfire, crafted specifically to pour whiskey in your ear and malice in your heart. These rip-roaring blood guzzlers intend to carry forth the torch lit from the triumph of Through the Gate Eternal and continue their blackened deathstrike on the world with the backing of two metal powerhouses! Fans can expect their Blacklight Media / Metal Blade debut in 2022 – stay tuned!

CREEPING FLESH to Release Sophomore Album “…And Then the Bombs Came” in Early 2022

Signing on to Emanzipation Productions in the summer of 2020, and wanting to expand on the sound of previous releases, CREEPING FLESH spent the next year writing new material which led to bigger and more epic songs, while maintaining the slow, heavy, skull-crushing riffs, gloomy melodies, blood-curdling growls, and thunderous drumming which has given them their musical identity. In April they recorded “…And Then the Bombs Came”, which is set to be released by Emanzipation Productions in February 2022.

The first digital single of the album, “Like So Many Before Them”, will be released on September 24th and can be previewed and pre-saved in this link.

Established in Swedish Death Metal haven Gothenburg in 2013, Creeping Flesh started on a mission to play their own style of mid tempo, old school death metal, influenced by bands such as Bolt Thrower, Asphyx and Hail of Bullets, but with the addition of Swedish melody and sound from bands such as Hypocrisy, Grave and Unleashed.

After releasing an EP each year during the following three years, their debut album “Into the Meat Grinder” came in 2019 to great critical acclaim. They now have a solid following due to consistent musical output, as well as a reputation for energetic, no holds barred, headbang inducing live shows.
