Helsinki Street Rockers PLASTIC TEARS have released a new video “Doomsday Girls”, taken from the critically acclaimed ‘Anthems For Misfits’ album that was released earlier this year through Wormholedeath Records.

It’s clear from the first beats of the song and video that you’re in for an energetic and fun rock’n’roll burst. Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Doomsday! The track is a fast rock’n’roller with a punky tongue in cheek attitude. Of the album’s diverse songs this is the one you want to choose if you’re having a party or want to get in a good mood!

The video was edited by Eco Inkinen and shot at Suvilahti skatepark and Hietaniemi cemetery in Helsinki. These two surroundings contrast each other well and Elina Laine does an excellent job as the doomsday girl.

“Anthems For Misfits” is available in Cd format HERE and on all digital platforms HERE.

“The band mixes classic rock with pop, punk, hard rock and glam for a unique sound.

The music is just fun, the content never loses contact with personality and reality and, above all, has absolutely catchy refrains.

They produced an excellent album that is full of confidence, charm, great melodies and a care-free attitude. May their story continue!”

Legendary rockers MÖTLEY CRÜE continue their 40th anniversary celebration with the release of the digital remaster of their iconic album Shout At The Devil. Hits such as “Looks That Kill,” “Too Young To Fall In Love,” and title track “Shout At The Devil” are amplified on this version of the band’s breakthrough album. Selling over 200,000 copies in the first two weeks, Shout At The Devil established Mötley Crüe as one of the top selling rock acts of the 1980s.

Released in September 1983, the band’s second studio album reached #17 on the Billboard 200. With two of its singles charting on the Billboard Hot 100, Shout At The Devil also featured a cover of The Beatles’ 1968 song “Helter Skelter.” Moving over 4 million copies in the US, the album is now certified 4x Platinum in the US, 3x Platinum in Canada and Gold in Australia. Most recently, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album #44 in its list of “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” in 2017. See the album’s full tracklisting below and listen to the digital remaster of Shout At The Devil HERE.

Mötley Crüe’s 40th anniversary celebrations will culminate with the digital remaster of their album Too Fast For Love, releasing exactly 40 years to the original release date of November 10, 1981. The remaster is now available for pre-order and pre-save HERE. Their debut album was recorded at Hit City West Studios and made available via their own label Leathür Records. Eventually reaching Platinum status in the US and charting on the Billboard 200, the album was ranked #22 on Rolling Stone’s “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time.”

The new remasters join the recently released digital remasters of Dr. Feelgood, Girls, Girls, Girls and Theatre of Pain, which kicked off the band’s 40th anniversary celebrations earlier this year.

The recently launched Mötley Crüe 101 Spotify Playlist includes hits from the band’s entire discography. It gives new and existing fans a comprehensive guide to the band’s iconic musical legacy, taking them on a celebratory sonic journey for this special anniversary. LISTEN NOW.

Los Angeles rock duo, THE SPIDER ACCOMPLICE, released their new single “Clinging to Your Skin” today via DI Records. The single was written by VK Lynne & Arno Nurmisto, mixed by Colin McGeoch at Matte Black Audio and mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering.

The official music video was filmed/edited by Henry Dhuy and Arno Nurmisto.

“Clinging To Your Skin” can be bought/streamed at: https://thespideraccomplice.bandcamp.com/album/clinging-to-your-skin

“Clinging to Your Skin signals Arno and I returning to our symphonic metal roots… at least for awhile. Our new EP is going to be a cinematic adventure all the way through! We will be playing a ‘homecoming’ show (I’m originally from Philadelphia) at The Fire on December 30th!” says VK Lynne.

This Los Angeles- based duo has racked up 12 LA Music Critics’ Awards over the last 5 years, making them LAMC’s most-awarded band in history. With their unique sound and striking visual presence, they have become a name to know in modern rock.

A band that loves to travel, they have toured the Midwest with black metal band White Empress, and the southwest with symphonic band, Insatia. In 2018, they played the LIFA Festival in CDMX and were astounded by the love they received from the Latin American audience.

Their trilogy of EP’s ,Los Angeles: The Trap, The Abduction, and the Dichotomy feature a diverse collection of songs, ranging from ballads to bangers, and they show no signs of confining themselves to either.

A prolific pair, they released a slew of new songs during the pandemic, and they now are currently working on recording the mountain of material they’ve created and shooting video to accompany the new offerings. The band is signed to DI Records.

FRAYLE Announce European Tour Dates For This Fall

In support of their latest 2020- album, 1692, Cleveland, USA- based heavy witch doom act FRAYLE has announced a series of European tour dates, and no, not for 2022 but kicking off THIS October!

FRAYLE makes music for the night sky. The group was formed in 2017 by guitarist Sean Bilovecky (formerly of now-defunct Man’s Ruin recording artists Disengage) and vocalist Gwyn Strang, a singer with an alluring voice and an equally compelling flair for imagery. Ever since their 2018- debut EP The White Witch, FRAYLE’s “lullabies over chaos” approach to songwriting allows the group the freedom to explore what is possible with heavy music; its gorgeously ominous sound a result of complex layering and tone stacking while simultaneously overseeing the perfectly delicate balance between heaving, heavy riffs and haunting vocal melodies. With its first full-length, 1692 (Aqualamb Records, Lay Bare Recordings) – which has been lauded by the international music press such as Revolver Magazine, Kerrang!, Metal Injection, Pop Matters and Consequence Of Sound to name just a few – FRAYLE pushes the immense intensity and gorgeous ache of its unique sound and style through to uncompromising new plateaus. While there is much darkness on the record, it’s also contrasted superbly with beauty, both fragile and fierce, in a way that feels weightless rather than plummeting, as if release truly is a possibility.

Complex layering and tone stacking is a hallmark of their music. Each musical element is thoughtfully composed resulting in a unique combination of midrange-heavy guitars, syncopated rhythms, and unexpected vocal progressions. Extraordinary vocalist Gwyn tells stories of heart break, anger, hypocrisy and resolution, asking the audience for empathy, and in turn inspiring vulnerability. Drawing inspiration from bands like Sleep, Portishead, Beastwars, Blonde Redhead, Kyuss, Massive Attack, Down, Chelsea Wolfe, and many more, FRAYLE exists at the intersection of doom and dream pop.

Today, the band has not only announced to hit the European roads in just a couple of weeks, but also released a gripping cover version of “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” by British dark wave giants BAUHAUS. Says vocalist Gwyn Strang:

“I was nervous to cover “Bela Lugosi’s Dead”.

It’s what I consider a perfect song; ambient and creepy and it crawls along, keeping your attention the entire time. I wanted to make sure we did it justice so we took some extra time with it to make it something we’re happy to share. The first half of our version pays homage to the original while the second half is definitively “Frayle”.

Listen to FRAYLE’s haunting version of “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” HERE!

“We are excited and eager to get back to Europe,“ The band comments. “The past few years were spent crafting our sound and building upon what was started with our debut release “The White Witch”.  The pandemic halted our plans to tour our most recent record “1692” so this will be the first time we have been able to fully support our record.  Also expect some surprise material that we have been working on.”
