Curtains up for SAMAEL: Eight long years after the release of their latest full-length album, Hegemony (2017), the Swiss eccentrics finally return in grand splendor. The new single, “Black Matter Manifesto”, mixed by Sky van Hoff (Lindemann, Sleep Token), is a journey through the different facets of SAMAEL’s music, from explosive rhythms to ultra-heavy passages, and it aims to become a benchmark in dark extreme music.

Showcasing their blend of black metal and industrial sounds, “Black Matter Manifesto” is an orgy of riffs and urgent, emphasizing the extreme metal icons’ unique position even in the most sinister of musical realms…

Formed in 1987, SAMAEL are among the most influential forces in extreme metal, reshaping the genre with classics like Worship Him (1990) and Passage (1996). Blending black, industrial and symphonic metal into their own signature sound, the band continues to push boundaries with dark precision and apocalyptic grandeur, remaining as relevant as ever almost 40 years since their founding. “Black Matter Manifesto” is raw, commanding, and unmistakably SAMAEL.

Vorph about “Black Matter Manifesto”:
“Opposites in life have long been a recurring theme in the band’s lyrics, which finally find resolution in the song ”Black Matter Manifesto.“ The quest for harmony ends where darkness reigns.”

DANHEIM Streams New Album “Heimferd” Ahead of Release

With more than 1 billion streams and features in the History Channel TV show Vikings, Danheim has become a cornerstone for Nordic folk, Viking and World music alongside Heilung and Wardruna. On his upcoming ninth album and first since signing with Season of Mist, producer Reidar Schaefer Olsen is continuing to evolve the Nordic sound by journeying home.

“One of the key elements of Danheim’s work is the feeling that you are stepping into the past”, Hotel Hobbies writes in an early review of Heimferd. “As with much of his music, a hypnotic, pulsating rhythm is our guide and around it strings, horns and woodwind weave a special tapestry of melody”.

Heimferd comes out tomorrow, Friday, October 31, 2025, but you can hear all 13 revelatory tracks today by listening to the full album stream on the Season of Mist YouTube channel.

–Pre-save on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/prerelease/5jx5D2KXJEaIyXKSYgiyR1

Heimferd is guided not by a mythological narrative but by intuition. Over the course of his ninth album, Danheim navigates the storm-born energy of “Stormdans” to the expansive calm of “Yggradsil II” and suspended longing of the title track. The songs are made from raw percussive strength and sparse electronic atmosphere, forming a landscape that feels both ancient and immediate. For Olsen, it marks a return to something familiar yet unreachable.

“I’ve always felt that home isn’t something you just arrive at–you have to move through something first. Memory, distance, or perhaps some form of struggle”, Olsen told Glide Magazine. “Heimferd isn’t about a perfect return; it’s about what shapes you on the way. Home means something more if you’ve had to long for it or fight your way back to it. So yes, the journey itself is just as important as the destination, or maybe even more”.

DANHEIM is a Nordic folk/Viking inspired project from the Copenhagen-based Danish producer Reidar Schæfer Olsen, a man with 10 years of experience in electronic and ambient music – focusing on Nordic Folk and Viking age inspired music with a certain Nordic authenticity or mood. Danheim’s music is often composed of ideas and stories based on the darker side of the Viking period, inspired or consisting of Nordic Mythology, old Danish folklore, and a vivid imagination.

Danheim hit 1 billion streams across streaming platforms in 2022, has 585.000 subscribers on YouTube, with music featured in multiple seasons of the popular TV show Vikings.

Early information: Singer-songwriter Reidar Schæfer Olsen, (born in 1985, Brøndby, Denmark), transitioned to focus on music in the early 2000s and has been composing music almost continuously ever since, alongside doing radio shows and starting the indie label Fimbul Records.

With a passion for songwriting running through his veins from an early age, Reidar Olsen’s Viking-inspired music and dark melodies have broadened the Nordic folk genre and inspired millions of listeners around the world, bringing them back in time with a blend of his imagination and creativity.

“A deep connection to his Danish roots and heritage fueled his interest in the Nordic Folk/Viking genre, prompting the creation of Danheim and his indie label Fimbul Records.”

EPOIMÓRIRÒMIOPE Release New Lyric Video for ‘Cenere’

Italian alternative rock trio epoimóriròmiope have unveiled the lyric video for their darkly poetic single “cenere”, taken from the album ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, out now via Epictronic Worldwide.

There’s no saving what was never meant to last. In “cenere”, epoimoriromiope conjure a world where love suffocates, bleeds, and devours itself—again and again.

A whispered plea. A gasp for air inside a spiraling connection, where the boundary between ecstasy and damage blurs.

This is the sound of two souls colliding, fracturing—laughing while they break.
Of blood as oxygen. Of eyes like venom. Of everything turning to ash.

Previous Singles and Videos: vertigine: Stream– Watch, coma: Stream – Watch

With ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, epoimóriròmiope invite listeners into their world of raw emotion, fragile beauty, and haunting intensity.

About:

Emerging in 2021 from Bologna, Italy, epoimóriròmiope fuses Metalcore, EDM, and Alternative Rock into a genre-defying sound. Originally a one-man project, it has evolved in both style and lineup—from the dark trap influences of Vincoli (2021) to the electronic experiments of kabukimono (2023). Singles from these albums remain on YouTube but have been withdrawn from streaming platforms to mark a fresh start with the definitive lineup and sound.

Lyrically, the project has shifted from social observations to exploring the darkest corners of the human soul. The latest album, “ricordi di un tempo mai esistito”, delves into separation, loss, regret, anger, anxiety, and reflections on death and life’s fleeting nature. Its first single, “vertigine”, captures the dizzying weight of absence and memory, offering atmospheric, raw alt-rock where love, identity, and time seem to unravel.

epoimóriròmiope is:
Erik Storari – Vocals, Guitar, Composition, Production
Sara Fioravanti – Bass
Giulio Barranca – Drums

CELLDWELLER & SWARM Release New Single ‘Fakebreaker’ (Feat. REEBZ)

Celldweller has announced “Fakebreaker,” as the first new vocal single from his recently completed Detroit studio, from the upcoming gaming-inspired Celldweller EP, God Mode.  An apocalyptic assault created alongside dark bass powerhouse SWARM and UK electronic-metal artist/vocalist REEBZ, “Fakebreaker” is accompanied with an adrenaline fueled music video, delivering chaos, intensity, and merciless energy, out now across all platforms from FiXT.

Purchase/Stream: https://link.fixtmusic.com/Fakebreaker

The single opens with tense, cinematic synths before erupting into a powerful blend of industrial metal riffs, heavy midtempo drops, and driving electronic bass. Dark atmospheres collide with fierce vocals, crushing drums, and cybernetic textures, creating a high-energy immersive soundscape.

The music video plunges viewers into a dark, ominous cyberpunk world, playing out like a side-scroller featuring Klayton (Celldweller) and REEBZ navigating a high-stakes, video game-inspired dystopia. The project marks Celldweller’s first live-action music video in over eight years. Its intense, cinematic visuals amplify the track’s sense of chaos and rebellion, making the full experience both audibly and visually destructive.

This is Celldweller at his most relentless, cinematic, and devastating, a high-octane return proving that even after years away, he remains a pioneer of electronic-rock, industrial metal, and dystopian soundscapes.
“A 303 acid bassline and a breakbeat. This was a demo for my project FreqGen, and from these humble beginnings while simultaneously completing the build of my new studio, “Fakebreaker” developed into a monster. During the process I hit up my friend REEBZ to see if she wanted to throw vocals over the FreqGen demo, and when I got them back knew instantly it needed to become a full blown Celldweller track. Being a SWARM fan, he instantly came to mind when thinking about how to make this track even bigger and better. The combination of the 3 of us was the perfect storm to bring this track to God Mode level.” – Klayton (Celldweller)

“I love Celldweller, and I love video games. When I was asked to work on a song that had both in common, it was the quickest “yes” that has ever left my lips. It turned out to be such a cool fusion of retro-tinged electronic music & heavy rock, and Reebz’ vocals gave it such a fresh feel. I had such a blast making it with such talented people!” – SWARM

“Both Celldweller and SWARM have always been great inspirations to me musically, and I was so excited to collaborate with them on our new song Fakebreaker!  It was so much fun getting to record a range of both heavy and melodic vocals to add to the awesome high-energy vibe of the track. I was absolutely stoked with how it all turned out!”  – REEBZ

Forging the sound of electronic-rock for over 20 years, Celldweller has inspired tens of millions of listeners across a global community of fans, content creators, and brands with 750,000,000+ streams and hundreds of placements in major Films, TV shows, and Video Games. Celldweller’s discography includes the self-titled Celldweller album in 2003, Wish Upon A Blackstar in 2012, End of an Empire in 2015, and Offworld in 2017, with his 5th studio album Satellites released in 2022.

Klayton, the multifaceted producer behind Celldweller and owner/founder of the independent record label FiXT, has garnered an intense cult following across his projects Celldweller, Scandroid, Circle of Dust, and FreqGen. Klayton is also respected and sought after in the media industry with his music appearing in hundreds of major Film / TV & Video Games, such as Westworld, Suicide Squad, Jack Reacher, Deadpool, Lucy, John Wick, Robocop, Pacific Rim, Killer Instinct Season 3, Now You See Me, Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty: Elite, Assassin’s Creed, UFC, and more.

SWARM, known by his friends as Brandon Thomas Carroll, started carving his sonically-destructive path in 2018 after recovering from nearly a decade of struggling with anorexia. In 2023, Brandon explained in an interview with Forbes how this difficult experience shaped not only who he is today, but also the dark tone and mental health-focused message of SWARM’s musical vision.

His hyper-aggressive brand of dark electronic music remains firmly rooted in the realm of Industrial EDM while taking listeners on an ever-evolving journey through rock, metal, and apocalyptic film score. This fluid combination of sounds has earned him a diverse array of musical collaborations with bands and producers alike, including Bad Omens, Till Lindemann of Rammstein, HEALTH,  Celldweller, The Browning, Apashe, and Sullivan King.

In addition to amassing well over 40 million global streams of his self-released discography alone, SWARM also has released music on Sumerian Records, FiXT, Out Of Line Music,  Kannibalen Records, and many more. His music has been licensed for Battle Royale juggernaut Fortnite, and featured on CSI: Las Vegas.

REEBZ is the mysterious UK solo electronic-metal entity with spine-chilling vocals and fiery songwriting abilities, piquing intrigue worldwide. Existing somewhere between alien and human, with an unconventional mind, REEBZ draws influence from metal, industrial, electronic, drum & bass, dubstep, and trap. REEBZ has already been part of numerous high-profile collaborations across the globe, featuring alongside notable names such as Zardonic, Pythius, Toronto Is Broken, and many more.
