APOSTOLICA Reveal Debut Album Details

Power metal heretics APOSTOLICA – the hyped yet mysterious project featuring some of the finest musicians of the international heavy metal scene – have revealed the details of their debut album ‘Haeretica Ecclesia’.

The tracklist is as follows:

1.    Sanctus Spiritus
2.    The Sword of Sorrow
3.    Come with Us
4.    Thanatos
5.    Pollution Is My Name
6.    No More Place in Hell
7.    Famine
8.    The Doom
9.    The Dusk is Coming
10.  Redemption

Apostolica have founded a new cult based on an intriguing and enigmatic image, a bombastic and pristine sound, catchy riffs and plenty of unforgettable hooks & choirs.

With its fresh and invigorating songwriting, ‘Haeretica Ecclesia’ is the first chapter of the four masked prophets’ very own book of revelations: a prophecy in music where they – modern-day knights of the Apocalypse – declare war to the heavens and celebrate the human being despite weaknesses and defects.

The world needs faith and hope, now more than ever; the heavy metal scene need faith and hope too: Apostolica is the heretic, powerful and anthemic antidote to the age of spiritual slavery.

‘Haeretica Ecclesia’ will be released by Scarlet Records on September 17th.

CELEB CAR CRASH Release ‘Life in Wes Anderson’s Movie’ Video + Announce Summer Shows

The musical releases for the Italian quartet resume, after the forced stop due to Covid.

CELEB CAR CRASH have released “Life in a Wes Anderson’s Movie”, a new single mixed by Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio73 and mastered at La Maestà by Giovanni Versari (Muse, Afterhours …)

The video, as well as the themes of the song are a tribute to the famous director WES ANDERSON (Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaum…). The world represented by Anderson is not the mirror of reality, but rather a fairytale transfiguration of it, in which the characters live in a closed and self-referential environment. These plausible but unlikely stories lead the viewer to grasp the ironic detachment from reality, and push him to identify with the characters.

Artwork: Federica Carioli

Directed by Erika Errante, in addition to her characteristic style, who has added a Caravaggesque touch to this work, color-graded by Pierfrancesco del Seppia,, the videoclip starring the extraordinary musical actress Sara Spagna.

With this penultimate release, included in the album “The World Is Busy, Try Again Later” which will be released for Zeta Factory on July 23, 2021, the band will face a four-date summer mini-tour to promote the new album:

10.07 – X-Ray – Forlì (FC)
17.07 – Legend Club – Milan
29.07 – The Brewery – Faenza (RA)
08.20 – Mazapegul – Civitella di Romagna (FC)

THE MIGHTY ONE Present New Single + Video “Burden”

The Mighty One, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

THE MIGHTY ONE from Canada are well-known for always having a fan surprise up their sleeves – following the latest announcement of a streaming concert and two elaborate videos for their latest singles, the band now announces the release of Burden from their current album Torch Of Rock And Roll.

After putting out a classical lyric video (Coming On) and some epic Animé-inspired eye-candy (Torch Of Rock And Roll), the clip for the new single Burden showcases the band’s intense performance of a highly emotional song. Written over 20 years ago by frontman Tim Steinruck, guitarist Scott Enns and their close friend and drummer Jeff Worobec, the track only saw the light of day with the album release of Torch Of Rock and Roll earlier in 2020, after Worobec tragically passed away from cancer in 2016. So it only makes sense for Enns to make a cameo appearance throughout the clip as well.

In a haunting, yet beautiful way, Burden explores the pain of holding on to feelings and situations that keep us imprisoned, and the freedom that comes from releasing them to a power greater than ourselves. The spiritual, moving track has quickly become a fan-favorite off of Torch Of Rock And Roll. Find out why and check out the music video here:

Torch Of Rock And Roll is now out via CMM/SAOL and can be ordered HERE.

Tracklist:

  1. Coming On
  2. Torch Of Rock And Roll
  3. So High
  4. Disruptor
  5. Burden
  6. Master Of Reality
  7. Darker Side Of Me
  8. My Garden
  9. Kickin’ Stones
  10. When This Is Over

Ukrainian Progressive MAJESTY OF REVIVAL have just released a new single #FOOL featuring Kärtsy Hatakka from the legendary Finnish band WALTARI!

Check out the lyric video below:

The band says: “We’re really proud of this collaboration! Kärtsy’s approach and creativity is always inspiring, and Waltari has a huge influence on us, so it was an honor to work with him on this track!“

The band bassist Vitalii Popfalushi commenting the song:
“Christians, racists, capitalists, beggars… everyone defends something. But what will happen when the most valuable things are taken away from you? This song describes only one way of “dealing” with the greedy. It doesn’t matter what they take from you, if they ask to become your foes – let them know who you are. Defend your own and never turn into a fool who will sell his best idea for the benefit of others”

The band leader Dimitriy Pavlovskiy adds:
“During the years MOR explored different types of music genres. But the new album will be our most versatile record! We reached the point where we left any limits or stylistic frames behind, focusing only on music and the message we want to share. It covers different lyric themes. Despite that, the new record sounds very gathered and catchy. And this song is proof of it!”

The new single “Fool” taken from the upcoming Majesty Of Revival’s fifth album, to be released later this year. The album name to be announced soon!
