San Diego deathcore pioneers, CARNIFEX, have released a music video for their new single, “Pray For Peace”. Directed and edited by: Jim Louvau & Tony Aguilera, the video can be seen below.
CARNIFEX comments, “With each song we release, our goal is to take you further into the abyss, further from reality. ‘Pray For Peace’ is no exception. A nihilist’s anthem with blasts, bounce, and breakdowns to keep you pitting! See you on the road!’
The song recorded earlier this year at Back Lounge Studios in San Diego, CA. It was produced by the band & Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH) who along with Shawn Cameron engineered the single. Mick was also responsible for mixing and mastering. The artwork for the single was created by Alexandre Goulet.
Recently, the band released a cover of KORN’s “Dead Bodies Everywhere” single off 1998’s Follow The Leader. Check out the visualizer for the cover of KORN’s “Dead Bodies Everywhere” here: youtu.be/vZkyn7audf4
MEMORY OF A MELODY hailing for San Antonio, Texas, is a five piece band combining their energetic songs and live antics to convey their music that is not only meant to be heard but also to be felt and experienced. They have released a new lyric video, the second track off their latest EP “Burn Alive”.
“Burn Alive” is about that feeling you get when you’d rather Burn Alive over not being with someone, or something that you’re in love with? crave or are addicted to? This song is about our hiatus and how we’d rather Burn Alive over never playing together as a band again.
Chart-breaking German folk rock institution SUBWAY TO SALLY demonstrate their exceptional live presence once more, carving a unique stage experience in stone with their new BluRay/DVD/CD release, Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark, out now!
In an intimate setting, the Potsdam based unit drops a colorful bunch of songs taken off their multifaceted discography and invites its listeners to be part of an exciting adventure, offering some great surprises and performances never heard or seen – till now! One of those highlights embodies the new live-video for the LORD OF THE LOST hit “Drag Me To Hell“, originally cut from their full-length Empyrean (2016), in which SUBWAY TO SALLY are accompanied by Chris Harms.
SUBWAY TO SALLY on the exceptional performance: “With LORD OF THE LOST and especially their frontman Chris Harms, we share a long and extremely productive musician friendship. This has mainly mutual admiration and respect as its origin, because we have been watching Chris very closely for a long time and are happy that he always knows how to surprise us with great music and great productions, even outside his band. The song ‘Drag Me To Hell’ was Chris’ personal wish and we had a lot of fun rehearsing it and celebrating it with Chris – due to Corona quarantine from afar – at the EHNO! A number that pushes incredibly and, you may not believe it, fits extremely well for SUBWAY TO SALLY. Somehow we have a feeling that this will not be the last coop with our friend from Hamburg.“

In 2020, SUBWAY TO SALLY returned to Lindenpark and – supported by many great artists like Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), Feuerschwanz, Schandmaul, Saltatio Mortis, MajorVoice and Patty Gurdy – created an extraordinary lockdown live experience with Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark. In an intimate setting, the recording starts with “Messias” and “Königin der Käfer” from the band’s latest chart-breaking full-length, Hey! (DE #5). SUBWAY TO SALLY then continue to not only travel through their own discography with songs like eerie “Unsterblich”, animated “Tanz auf dem Vulkan” and live-sensation “Grausame Schwester”, but also present a bunch of enchanting features as well: Don’t miss when highly talented Birgit Muggenthaler-Schmack and Saskia Maria Forkert (Schandmaul) join SUBWAY TO SALLY for Schandmaul’s “Dein Anblick” and a premier version of “Kleid aus Rosen”, or when the band sets the exceptional stage on fire for an explosive performance with Saltatio Mortis on their hit “Sie tanzt allein” – just to name a selection.
SUBWAY TO SALLY on Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark: “After 11 years of our “EISHEILIGE NACHT-tradition”, we definitely did not want that 2020 will be seen as a red “X” in the history of our festival series. So we thought about how we could provide our fans with the EISHEILIGE NACHT feeling at their homes, when we weren’t allowed to tour ourselves. An online concert wasn’t enough for us: EISHEILIGE NACHT is not only about meeting friends, but also being a highlight of the year – with several befriended bands performing live on stage.
We wanted to implement all of this in one experience. We wanted to record this very special event where the EISHEILIGE NACHT originally began. Instead of playing a concert in an empty hall, we used the size of the hall, lined up in a circle and placed our guest musicians into our midst. This created new insights that have never been seen before in any SUBWAY TO SALLY concert film! We are very pleased that we can now, as requested by countless fans, record this event for eternity as a special concert film! “

Yesterday, June 18th, extreme industrial metal pioneers, FEAR FACTORY released their tenth studio album Aggression Continuum via Nuclear Blast. In celebration of the new album, the band offers fans the music video for the track “Recode”. Watch the video, directed by Riivata Visuals, here:
Dino Cazares comments, “The day has finally come for all to finally enjoy the New FEAR FACTORY album, Aggression Continuum. It’s been a long journey to get to this date and I can’t say enough of how proud I am of the album. Thanks to everyone involved in making it possible for this record to come out. This is all for you, the amazing FF Family!! Machines of Hate!”
Aggression Continuum features guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder Dino Cazares; drummer Mike Heller; and former vocalist, lyricist, and co-founder Burton C. Bell. It was produced and engineered by Damien Rainaud (DRAGONFORCE, ONCE HUMAN), with keyboards by Igor Khoroshev (ex-YES), and programming on two songs from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY). The album also featured additional keyboards handled by Max Karon and Giuseppe Bassi. Aggression Continuum was mixed by A-list rock and metal producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM), who also mixed the album’s critically-acclaimed predecessor, Genexus. The artwork for the album was created by Francesco Artusato.
FEAR FACTORY records are cinematic in scope; sonic landscapes, echoing the dystopian post-apocalyptic futures found in classic sci-fi literature and films, from Ray Bradbury to Blade Runner. Aggression Continuum, the tenth studio album, is the culmination of three decades of unforgettable songs, performances, and forward-thinking storytelling concepts, while simultaneously rebooting FEAR FACTORY onto a brilliant and excitingly unpredictable new path. Like the liquid metal T-1000 in the Terminator franchise or the Academy-Award-winning reboot of Mad Max, Aggression Continuum is a turning point where what “was” transforms into what will be. It’s FEAR FACTORY’s own Fury Road.
