San Diego deathcore pioneers, CARNIFEX, are proud to release their cover of KORN’s “Dead Bodies Everywhere” single off 2009’s Follow The Leader.
CARNIFEX comments, “KORN was one of our original influences and inspired us greatly as young musicians. Each time we do a cover, it’s our way of saying thank you to the musicians that came before us, and just maybe we added our touch of brutality! Enjoy!”

The cover was recorded earlier this year at Back Lounge Studios in San Diego, CA. It was produced by the band & Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH) who along with Shawn Cameron engineered the single. Mick was also responsible for the mixing and mastering of the “Dead Bodies Everywhere” cover. CARNIFEX recruited Dylan Gould to create the artwork for the single.

Today, the band releases the music video for the second single, ‘World War X’ which was directed by Scott Ian Lewis. The video was produced by Digital Thunderdome and co-produced by Scott Ian Lewis & Nikhil Potdar.
Scott Ian Lewis comments, “The WWX music video is a special one for so many reasons. For the last 14 years of the band I’ve been heavily involved in the music videos. »World War X« was produced by CARNIFEX and Jason Suecof (DEATH ANGEL, CHELSEA GRIN, JOB FOR A COWBOY). The album was recorded and mixed by Jason at Audiohammer Studio in Sanford, Florida. Vocals for the album were tracked by Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH) at The Barracks Studio in Huntington Beach, CA. The album artwork was created by Blake Armstrong.

San Diego, California-based metal outfit CARNIFEX have released the live music video of their song ‘Dark Heart Ceremony’. The song comes from their latest record “Slow Death”.
“The stage is where everything about our music comes to life,” said vocalist Scott Ian Lewis about the clip. “The love, the hate, the pain, everything is on display. This video captures those moments both on stage and in the crowd and so much more.”

“Slow Death” was released on August 5th, 2016 through Nuclear Blast. It was produced and recorded by CARNIFEX and Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH), and co-produced by Jason Suecof (DEATH ANGEL, CHELSEA GRIN, JOB FOR A COWBOY). “Slow Death” was mixed by Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE) at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.
