Split Screen Management has a huge pleasure to announce the signing of Italian melodic death metallers LUNARSEA! Elements such as growling, screaming, clean vocals, blast beat, synths and tipically power-prog riffs are the core and the peculiarity of Lunarsea style and soul.

Guitarist Fabiano Romagnoli stated:
“Time has come!
We’re back and ready to promote live our latest and hyped album called “Earthling/Terrestre” released in January 2020.
“Earthling/Terrestre” is considered by most media/reviewer as our best album so far, but we were so unluckly to release it 2 months before covid pandemic comes out unfortunately.
After 12 months of studio and promotion activity, by releasing 4 lyric video, a collaboration with Bjorn “Speed” Strid from Soilwork and dozen of rehearsal, we get in touch again with Tarja and Roberto from the brand new SPLIT SCREEN MANAGEMENT agency for a new collaboration, and we’re very proud of them for all the works they did for us already in the past.
See you back on the road.
Stay Lunar!”

LUNARSEA:
Alessandro Iacobellis – Vocals

The next three albums “Route Code Selector” (2009), “Hundred Light Years“ (2013) and “Earthling/Terrestre” (Dicembre 2019) came out on Punishment18records. In these past years LUNARSEA have shared the stage with great acts like DEATH, DARK TRANQUILLITY, RAGE, ORPHANED LAND, IMPALED NAZARENE, FIREWIND, PRIMAL FEAR, PRIMORDIAL, SWALLOW THE SUN, INSOMNIUM, OBSCURA, DARKANE, NARGAROTH, EKTOMORF, SINISTER, LEAVE’S EYES, ABORTED, DARK FUNERAL, ASPHYX, THE HAUNTED, SEPTIC FLESH, just to name a few. Among the band’s highlights, so far, is the participation on “Where Death Is Most Alive Tour”, where the band won the contest directly organized by Century Media to open the gigs of Bologna and Rome during the tour of Dark Tranquillity and Insomnium in October 2010. Elements such as growling, screaming, clean vocals, blast beat, synths and tipically power-prog riffs are the core and the peculiarity of Lunarsea style and soul.

Legendary guitarist STEVE HACKETT, releases his new studio rock album Surrender of Silence on 10th September 2021, via Inside Out Music. The album features 11 new songs as Steve Hackett has been working hard through Lockdown and, the first time, has completed two studio albums for release within the same year!

Hot on the heels of his classical-acoustic travelogue Under A Mediterranean Sky, which was released in January and hit Number 2 in the UK Classical Album Chart, Surrender of Silence is a further exploration of Hackett’s love of world music, discovering different sounds, moods and textures to deliver a rock album of extraordinary variety, power and beauty.

As with Under A Mediterranean Sky, Surrender of Silence was also recorded during Lockdown and, again, Hackett has called upon some of his musical friends from across the world to contribute. Hackett’s regular touring band of Roger King (keyboards, programming and orchestral arrangements), Rob Townsend (sax, clarinet), Jonas Reingold (bass), Nad Sylvan (vocals) and Craig Blundell (drums) are supplemented by Phil Ehart and Nick D’Virgilio (drums), the vocal talents of Amanda Lehmann, Durga and Lorelei McBroom, Christine Townsend (violin, viola), Malik Mansurov (tar) and Sodirkhon Ubaidulloev (dutar).

This new album is full-on electric…

“Lockdown cobwebs are blown away in one fell-swoop here!” says Steve Hackett. “With the monster rhythm section of Jonas, Craig, Nick and Phil along with Rob’s soaring sax and bass clarinet, Nad, Amanda and myself on vocals, Roger’s darkly powerful organ and my guitar, we plunge full-pelt into that wild release of energy.”

Our journey takes us from the classical orchestrations of Russia (Natalia) to the plains of Africa (Wingbeats) to mysterious Eastern shores (Shanghai To Samarkand), all via the ocean’s depths (Relaxation Music for Sharks (featuring feeding frenzy)). The Devil’s Cathedral pools the talents of Hackett’s entire touring band and features King’s atmospheric Gothic organ and a powerhouse rhythm display from Blundell and Reingold.
Hackett’s vocals have never been bettered and his duet with Amanda Lehmann adds emotion to Scorched Earth a lament for the environmental horrors facing our planet. Throughout Hackett’s guitars add a rich tapestry of colour with soaring solos and intricate weaving melodies.

“It’s a ‘no holds barred’ album,” adds Hackett, “riding that wave, unleashing those demons, dreams and nightmares, all crashing together over the shore.

“I enjoyed the power of this album allowing my guitar to scream in joy and rage… and once again flying across those oceans to distant lands. It’s terrific to connect creatively with musicians from far flung places, particularly when we’ve all been unable to meet. We all have a voice in our cacophony of sound and we cry out together in the Surrender of Silence!”

Steve Hackett “Surrender of Silence” track listing:
1. The Obliterati (02:17)
2. Natalia (06:17)

A flickering red light glows in the darkness evoking images of a spooky lighthouse in the roaring sea – quite a suitable comparison for avantgarde black metal outlet CELESTE who continue their rise to one of the most promising extreme metal acts with their latest move:

Today, leading metal label NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS welcomes the band as newest member of the worldwide family and is proud to announce the signing of a worldwide deal with CELESTE.

Celebrating this new unholy union, CELESTE reveal a new video for their song “Comme Des Amants En Reflet” today. Watch it here:

The band states:“We’re thrilled to announce that we’re now part of Nuclear Blast family. We want to thank them for the way they warmly welcomed us. We’re stoked to work with such a friendly and professional team.
Times’ve been rough recently, but it strenghtened us to work on our 6th album. We’re just coming back from the mixing sessions. Prepare yourself for some new material soon.”

This fantastic news will be crowned by the band’s appearance on this year’s “Hellfest From Home” edition, featuring a stunning live show from CELESTE broadcasting from the festival ground. The “Hellfest From Home” will take place during the weekend of June 17 – 20, find more information here.

To get into the right mood before the festival show, find all the albums of CELESTE for streaming here:
http://nblast.de/Celeste-ReReleases

Jerome Riera, European Head Of Label for Nuclear Blast, adds:
“There’s no genre that can truly define CELESTE, the music they create is in its own universe. I’ve always loved the band’s ability to mix very strong, classy imagery with the darkest, blackest songs. It’s a powerful and unique band that we’re proud to welcome to the Nuclear Blast family.”

Having played more than 500 shows around the world, including appearances at several prestigious extreme music festivals, theaters and venues (Hellfest, Roskilde, Copenhell, SummerBreeze, Brutal Assault, Roadburn, Psycho Las Vegas…), with one EP and five albums under their belt, CELESTE has succeeded in creating their own musical atmosphere and are today considered to be one of the most important bands of the “French Avant-Garde Black-Metal” scene.

After joining the label NUCLEAR BLAST, CELESTE will release a new album in 2022, recorded and mixed by Chris Edrich (Gojira, The Ocean, Leprous, Tesseract) and will go on an international tour to spread the darkness of its music.

DEATH DEALER Release Video For Powerful Ballad ’22 Gone’

DEATH DEALER have released a video for the powerful ballad 22 GONE of of their album CONQUERED LANDS which was released November 13 2020 via STEEL CARTEL RECORDS.  This song deals with the soldier suicide epidemic in the United States and the shocking statistic that on average, 22 service men commit suicide every day.  Singer Sean Peck who penned the lyrics talks about it.  “When I was researching the song, I was blown away by this shocking number of tragic losses that happen each day.  This video brings attention to it in a very powerful way.  Even though it was a ballad, this song was a surprise hit with the critics and our fans so we decided to give it the video treatment.  We put it out via Youtube, since we only release a limited amount of content to the streaming services.  We are focusing on exclusive music content to our supporters that buy the physical product and only those that bought the record have heard this track.”

ROSS THE BOSS commented on the track calling it “Without a doubt, the most depressing song in Heavy Metal history!”

STU MARSHALL said. “I feel passionately about our combat agencies and respect the fact these people put their lives on the line every day for our liberties and freedoms. Australian and American troops have stood shoulder to shoulder for decades and this song resonates the sadness of soldier suicide and why we need to support our troops in every way we can. 22 Gone represents some of Sean’s best lyric writing in my opinion.”
