On October 7th, 2019 ROYAL HUNT were offered a gig (opening for Uriah Heep) in their hometown Copenhagen (with a very short notice), so for obvious logistical reasons DC Cooper couldn´t join the band on that particular day. Luckily, Kenny Lubcke was able to step in at the last minute and save the day.

ELECTRIC GUITARS is more than ready for the reopening. “Dopamine” is the new single and video from Denmark’s most revered rock band. With it, the band sends a pure feeling of happiness to the concert-hungry fans. The single is the sound of cold draft beer, the hair back, and the guitar up to 11.
“We’re coming out with our fastest number ever because we’re SO ready for the scene to open again. We’re hungry like never before!” tells Mika Vandborg – one half of the guitar duo in front of Electric Guitars.
“Dopamine” is about the unbridled feeling of happiness that forces you out in search of the next fix. Whether it’s draft beer, speed, or rock music you can not let go, “Dopamine” ignites your urge for more.
“”Dopamine” is a solution-oriented song. Maybe it’s about a man who is addicted to sex…” laughs Mika Vandborg.
In this new track, advancing what’s to come in their future album, Electric Guitars’ double-charged guitar energy flows out of the speakers like a herd of trapped galloping horses on their first jump after a long winter. Bass and drums pump up the pulse so that it jerks the rock muscle.
“The song actually wrote itself. Søren and I sat and jammed to a beat we found on YouTube, and in no time the song was finished. Bang! So much energy we had built up. Right there we experienced that feeling of happiness that comes when everything just falls into place. And that’s the feeling the song is about”.
Søren Andersen – the other half of the guitar duo – elaborates: “We did what the song wanted – and we did not compromise. After nine years and four albums, we have never been closer to the core of our small orchestra. When others make barley themselves – burgers with honey, dipped strawberries and smart salad, we go for steak, bacon, cheese, and onions. That’s it!“

Swedish black metal five-piece BURNING DARKNESS will release their sophomore full-length album, “Dödens Makt”, on July 2nd 2021 via Non Serviam Records.
Today the band unleashes the first single “Chiropteran Demon”. Its primitive intro evolves into a progressive verse that mutates into an aggressive chorus making it a fair representation of the new album.
“‘Chiropteran Demon’ was chosen as first single because of the raw old-school energy mixed with some more modern heaviness. We felt the somewhat unorthodox mix worked really well. There are also some horror elements to the music which goes together well with the titular demon the lyrics talks about“, comment BURNING DARKNESS.
“Dödens Makt” (The Power of Death) is a more varied and atmospheric recording than the raw and intense debut. The band mixes both fast tempos and very heavy parts along with classic melodic tremolos and progressive elements. The lyrical themes of death and anti-Christianity are kept from the previous album, but new ones such as horror and Norse folklore are now present as well. The cover artwork depicting a demonic bat-like gargoyle was created by Łukasz Jaszak.
“Fans of 90’s black metal will love it. We at Burning Darkness don’t concern ourselves with current trends. We play the type of music we love. Still not rigidly stuck in one spot, we musically take inspiration from other genres of metal and beyond. The new album has more variation than our debut. While it goes mostly quite fast, we’ve added slower and heavy as led parts as well. Rawness is balanced with atmosphere”, explains the frontman Per Kolderup Finstad

“Mystai Keltoy” is an enigmatic name that alludes to the Elusian Mysteries. The album includes 11 tracks that speak of ancient alien civilizations, European pyramids, legends and historical facts of Friuli, as you could already guess from the album cover. The album was recorded and produced at the Groove Factory in Udine by Michele Guaitoli, a prominent name for being the lead singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis, Era.

The formation of the power trio is Simone Cescutti on drums, Jacopo Novello on bass and Jonathan Vanderbilt on vocals and guitars. The cover is hand painted by Sheila Franco, the same girl who painted Blood Over Intents, and represents the myth of the ancient visitors. Jonathan Vanderbilt played and recorded the album with Panico Custom instruments, the Italian sponsor of custom lutherie of Luca Panico di Ravenna, a guitar specially created with the specifications requested by the Canadian guitarist.
CELTIC HILLS were born in 2010, in 2020 they sign a recording contract with Elevate Records with which they release the album “Blood over Intents” and the EP “Schrage Musik” both in 2020. In 2021 another album is out “Mystai Keltoy” produced and recorded by Michele Guaitoli singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis and Era. The style played is difficult to place in a single vein of metal, as there are many influences ranging from death to power, with sound elements that can also recall a certain type of 90’s thrash. The singing is quite varied, and for some listeners it may seem unusual in a metal band. power, speed and good melodic lines distinguish the band from others. Between 2010 and 2020 they released “Horns helmet fighters” and for the Slovak Music Globalliance they came out on international compilations on volumes 2,3,4.

In November 1981, rock ‘n’ roll legends MÖTLEY CRÜE stormed into the cultural zeitgeist with the release of their debut album Too Fast for Love, setting the stage for what would become one of the most iconic careers ever in music. This year, the band is celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a special series of music re-releases and fan activations, revisiting their globally acclaimed catalogue.
