Italian experimentalists of NERO DI MARTE have released a live video for the tracks ‘L’Arca’ and ‘Sisyphos’, which were recorded during the band’s set at Roadburn Redux on April 16 – 18 . This was the first time the band played live in their brand-new line-up that includes guitarist Alessio Cattaneo and bassist Georgio Figà Talamanca. NERO DI MARTE’s set during the online festival can be viewed HERE.

The band comments: “We’re happy to publicly share the set we recorded for Roadburn Redux 2021… Even if the experience was online, it was an awesome event which brought us together by sharing new, forward thinking music. It was an honor to be a part of it. We’re now hard at work on new material in the hope that things will open back up soon.”

NERO DI MARTE have previously revealed their brand new (live) line-up! Guitar player Francesco D’Adamo and bass player Andrea Burgio have decided to part ways with the band due to personal reasons. Alessio Cattaneo will take over axe duties and Georgio Figà Talamanca will present on bass from now on.

NERO DI MARTE‘s latest album ‘Immoto‘ was released on January 24, 2020.

Split Screen Management has a pleasure to welcome the Greek heavy rockers, CELLAR STONE, into its roster family. Furthermore the band’s second album is coming out soon!

As our second album is coming out, we are looking forward to get back on the road and share our music with our fans! We are absolutely confident that Split Screen’s experienced staff will really support us to this direction!”

CELLAR STONE’s upcoming album was mixed by Mr. Jordan Westfall (Black Stone Cherry) at Monocle Studios in Kentucky, USA. The album also features Chris Robertson (singer-guitarist Black Stone Cherry). The final result is something fresh, heavy and intensely melodic. Fourteen songs of pure heavy rock with great songwriting and an over the top production. If you love strong melodies, big choruses and guitar riffing, Cellar Stone won’t disappoint. Just dive in, the album is essential listening.

Influenced by the rock & metal giants of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice In Chains, as well as the bands of today like Black Stone Cherry, Shinedown, Mastodon and Alter Bridge, CELLAR STONE are making their own statement in a characteristic way. Choruses that stick, a pandemonium of guitar harmonies and riffs and a rhythm section that grabs at you, the band is setting the scene and they won’t go unnoticed. Cellar Stone members have toured next to several famous acts such as UFO, Uriah Heep, Black Star Riders, Candlemass and Avatarium. In May 2020, the band released their debut album “One Fine Day” independently, receiving enthusiastic reviews by many highly esteemed magazines and websites (Powerplay UK 9/10 – Metal Temple US 9/10 – Hellfire Magazin DE 8,5/10 – Legacy DE 12/15 – Bleeding4Metal DE 8/10 ) while it was voted as 32nd best Hard Rock album of the year by Denim & Leather US.

Finnish OCEANHOARSE Premiere Brand New Lyric Video For “Reaching Skywards”

Helsinki-based Heavy Fucking Metal (patent pending!) group OCEANHOARSE have released their new single “Reaching Skywards” today. With its in-your-face metal riffing, 90’s style psychedelia and astral beauty of the chorus, this is quite possibly the most versatile Oceanhoarse song to date.

“Reaching Skywards’ is my favorite track from our upcoming album”, drummer Oskari Niemi announces. “It kicks off with some eardrum-slapping metal before the verse brings a dose of funk to your afternoon, and finally the chorus lifts you up into the skies. This has to be the most twisted combination of grooves so far in our catalog! I rarely get emotional, but Joonas’ (Kosonen, vocals) screams in the second half of the song always give me chills“.

“It’s a never-ending source of amazement to me how some people have no issues exploiting others and watch the world burn around them while they keep getting wealthier and more powerful. There’s nothing scarier than inhumanity and lack of compassion. I find myself leaning towards these topics time and again when writing lyrics”, guitarist Ben Varon continues.”

Watch the lyric video for “Reaching Skywards” here:

Oceanhoarse have amassed an impressive two million plus streams on Spotify alone, and all this before their first studio album has even been released. The band’s previous single “One With the Gun” was released in late February, and has already hit the 100 000 stream mark.

“Dead Reckoning”, the group’s first studio album (Oceanhoarse released a live album “The Damage is Done – LIVE!” last year, recorded on their first European tour) will be released on August 20th through Noble Demon and is now available for pre-save and pre-order HERE

MACABRE Release Explicit, Animated Music Video For “Richard Speck Grew Big Breasts”

Chicago legends of Murder Metal/Death Metal MACABRE released their demented, heinous bloodbath of an album, “Carnival Of Killers” in November 2021 via Nuclear Blast. Today, the band releases an animated music video for ‘Richard Speck Grew Big Breasts’.

In 1996, award-winning news journalist, Bill Kurtis, debuted a series on Chicago’s WBBM-TV displaying video clips of Richard Speck and two other inmates in a staff training area inside the maximum-security Stateville Correctional Center. The footage included Speck detailing how he was enjoying himself in prison by engaging in sexual acts as well as showing the use of illegal substances. Speck‘s appearance was noticeably altered as he had used illicitly supplied female hormones to grow breasts.

MACABRE’s Corporate Death comments, “I started getting the idea to write this song after seeing the Speck videos on Channel 2 News here in Chicago. We played it out a few times soon after including an appearance on the top-rated Mancow’s Morning Madhouse radio program but only recently has it been properly recorded and released for our “Carnival Of Killers” album. I wanted to give it a punk rock feel, I was going to a lot of club shows then and was inspired by Dayglo Abortions, 7 Seconds, MDC, and vocally by D.I..”

Watch the animated video for ‘Richard Speck Grew Big Breasts’ at this location.

The band also has a new double-sided Richard Speck shirt. Order the Joe Wapo created shirts exclusively on http://www.murdermetal.com
