LIAR THIEF BANDIT will release their third album ”Deadlights” on May 14, 2021. The album contains 12 tracks of modern-sounding and forward-thinking Scandinavian garage rock and will be released on digital, vinyl, and CD format. Liar Thief Bandit effortlessly blends smooth guitar licks, infectious hooks, and uplifting lyrics with a ton of live-rock energy, creating an album that easily would pass for a best-of collection of singles. Recorded in Tambourine Studios, who launched the career of The Cardigans among others, and produced by Erik Sunding, who’s been the engineer/producer for bands such as Terrible Feelings and Bob Hund. The production on ”Deadlights” is spotless, taking the spirit of Garage rock revival to a completely new level. Deadlights is released on The Sign Records, who’ve previously worked with Liar Thief Bandit for the release of the band’s 2019 7” split single ”Virtue Not a Vice / Saved by Rock n Roll” together with Grande Royale. Nothing can stop Liar Thief Bandit – get ready.
What do you get if you blend the melodic essence that helped shape the ‘70s and the raw garage revival of the late‘90s with a modern touch of uplifting lyrics and undeniable energy? The answer is Liar Thief Bandit – a power trio born to play live with the sole purpose to carry the torch of all that ever was, is, and will be rock’n’roll in its purest form. After humble beginnings in 2015 making demos and playing those first crucial shows, the defining journey took off in late 2016 when the self-produced debut album “Gun Shovel Alibi” was released. Extensive touring followed and the band’s DIY-ethics brought them to numerous European countries during 2017. Their lightening, energetic live show caught attention and left the audience wanting more. The hectic tour schedule influenced the three-piece to write, record, and deliver their sophomore epos “Straight Ahead” released in august 2018 quickly followed by three European tours putting Liar Thief Bandit on the map as a hard-working rock’n’roll band to reckon with. With new songs in the making, May 2019 saw the trio doing their 100th show in Hamburg as the premiere of an 18-day tour through Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The coming fall saw a split 7” vinyl with Grande Royale released on the Sign Records and a joint tour through Germany and Switzerland supporting the double A-side single. The track “Virtue Not a Vice” left no one doubting the power of innovating riffs and rememberable melodies that makes Liar Thief Bandit stand out in the current rock atmosphere. The third full-length was recorded during the spring of 2020 in Malmö’s Tambourine Studios inspired by hardships in a hard-working touring band as well as complicated situations in life. The theme throughout the 12 songs touches on philosophies of picking yourself up, taking chances, and facing obstacles with a positive state of mind. “Deadlights” will be released in 2021 on The Sign Records.
NAHAYA (ft. members of Oceans of Slumber, Vesperian Sorrow, ex-Kingdom Collapse, Painting The Massacre, Cerebral Desecration) will be unleashing their new album, entitled “Vital Alchemy” via Rockshots Records on May 21, 2021.
Today, the band shares their new music video for their second single “Incubator“, which is their most unique song on the album and to the band entirely. Taking a more experimental approach to their sound, NAHAYA begins the song with a country slide, actually using a Lonestar beer bottle to capture the sound in studio to give it that immediate Texan vibe. They progressively build the track into sombre melodic vocals to quickly kick into a furious thrash / melo-death frenzy to come back around full circle.
The band adds: “We think a song like this will be the inspiration for us to experiment more with our sound in the future. Lyrically, Incubator is inspired by the book “In the Dark Places of History” by Peter Kingsley. The book speaks about a form communion with Gods and Goddess while in meditative trance/deep sleep, sometimes under the guidance of oracles and spiritual individuals of the time.”
The Texan band is an amalgamation of American melodic groove thrash, Gothenburg sounds, and Middle Eastern influences. The band was founded in 2013 by Ryan Peters with Semir Ozerkan, who immigrated to the US from Istanbul, Turkey to pursue career opportunities in metal, one being with Oceans of Slumber.
“Vital Alchemy” follows the band’s well-received EPs “Transcendence Pt. II” (2020) and “Transcendence” (2018). Since the band’s conception, they have been working hard to make a name for themselves independently, performing over 50 shows year-round in Texas and neighboring states including Austin’s SXSW festival and becoming national finalists for the 2019 Wacken Metal Battle USA competition.
Mastered by Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, Scale the Summit), “Vital Alchemy” is seven tracks that will take fans through a wide range of emotions. There is something on this record for every kind of music lover. From the melody to the groove to the speed and unlike its predecessors that were focused on themes of science fiction, this new record takes on more personal interest, spirituality, and metaphysics along with it being more musically dynamic and experimental, incorporating progressive, acoustic, melancholic sounds with thrashing elements.
Overall, “Vital Alchemy” also signifies a rebirth for NAHAYA as the new tracks featured on the recording are the next step in the band’s evolution when it comes to their musical direction.

June 11th 2021 sees THIS ENDING returning with a true melodic death metal masterpiece called “Needles of Rust”.
Nine songs of Apocalyptic, Brutal yet Catchy melodic death metal back to the roots of what was done earlier in A CANOROUS QUINTET. “Needles of rust” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Wing Studios by Sverker Widgren, To give the album cover the necessary atmosphere Björn Gooßes of Killustrations was hired once again (as on the previous album “Garden of Death”) to take care of the artwork and layout. Overall the lyrical themes for the Needles of rust album deal with different kind of nightmare scenarios. Some lyrics are loosely based on real events and things that has happened over the world. Some are just about nightmares as an overall phenomenon. All lyrics are up for personal interpretation, I just try to give a glimpse of what went through my head when I wrote them.
This Ending about :Eclipse of the Dead: This is an old song that was first written 10 years ago by Linus N. We have tried to make it work for years and finally it has found the shape it needed. This was one of the first songs originally written after our second album Dead Harvest. We also have guest vocals on this one from Gord courtesy of Darkened. The lyrics deal partly with the issues of environmental destruction and how many ignore their part in this. It also revolves around the issue of accepting the easy answers without question, to blindly trust the so-called leaders.
This Ending – Needles Of Rust
1. My Open Wound 2. Annihilate 3. Embraced By The Night 4. Exlipse Of The Dead 5. A New Plight 6. Needles Of Rust 7. Devastate 8. Hell To Hell 9. The Hunted (Bonus Track)

TRAUMA is one of Poland’s oldest and most experienced death metal acts. The band started in the late-1980s, known then as Thanatos. Under the moniker, two demo tapes were recorded, which helped them become known as one of the most interesting and musically advanced bands from the Polish metal scene. In December 1992, they changed the name to TRAUMA, and a few months later recorded their debut full-length, Invisible Reality. Since then, the squad has remained continuously busy, releasing their brand of music for nearly thirty years. 2020 brought forth the band’s long-awaited eighth studio album Ominous Black featuring nine new songs. The album was released by Selfmadegod Records in March 2020, and just over one year later, TRAUMA is back with the new Acrimony mini-album.
