The Duke of Spook and his devilish ghouls, WEDNESDAY 13, have returned from the crypt to release a new digital EP titled “Necrophaze – Antidote” that’s out today from Nuclear Blast. The EP features rare and unreleased music from recording sessions for his latest full-length, “Necrophaze,” including two new songs “Your Mother Still Sucks Cocks In Hell” and “Screwdriver 2 – The Return” and two previously released covers of INXS’ “Devil Inside” and Gary Numan’s “Films” (featuring Calico Cooper).

Commenting on the EP, Wednesday 13 states:
“While recording the last record we had a couple of extra tracks that we didn’t know what to do with. Re-recorded version of 2 songs from my former band Frankenstein Drag Queens and 2 cover songs. The idea of putting out an EP tied in with Necrophaze with these songs seemed like the best way to get them out to the fans. The new recorded version of Screwdriver is as loud & energetic as the original from 1998. ‘Your Mother Still Sucks Cocks In Hell,’ was another classic that needed to be heard again.”

“Necrophaze – Antidote” EP Tracklisting:
1. Your Mother Still Sucks Cocks In Hell
2. Screwdriver 2 – The Return
3. Devil Inside
4. Films (Featuring Calico Cooper)

We’re incredibly proud of this record and we hope everyone enjoys what is a truly personal account of our lives over these last 3 years. GARY MOORE: New Track ‘I’m Tore Down’ Released From Upcoming Album

Provogue will be releasing a new album, featuring previously unreleased material, from the iconic blues-rock master GARY MOORE.  The album How Blue Can You Get will come out on April 30th.

Today a new track ‘I’m Tore Down’ from the album is released, stream it below.

This month marks ten years since the tragic passing of the iconic Northern Irish musician and singer-songwriter. He left behind, not only an incredibly formidable back catalogue of music from his esteemed solo career, Thin Lizzy, Skid Row, Colosseum II and more, but also a legacy matched by few others.

Venturing deep into the Moore family archives, some previously unheard and unreleased deep cuts and alternative versions surfaced to accentuate the beguiling mastery of one of blues’ finest modern exponents. Amongst the songs are unheard and unreleased Moore originals – “In My Dreams,” a lusciously glorious slow-moving ballad with every note and bend weeping as Moore pours out his heart along with the stunningly melancholic “Looking At Your Picture”.

As the album of these unearthed gems begins to see the light of day, it highlights Moore’s depth and complexity and how his music has touched so many people. Finally, reflecting Bernie Marsden remembers, “We grew up in the business together, and he eventually became a major solo star. I wasn’t remotely surprised, of course, as his playing was so astonishing, a great showman and performer. But to me, he was first and foremost, my friend, and I still miss him today! Enjoy this rare recording.”

Track list

  1. I’m Tore Down
  2. Steppin’ Out
  3. In My Dreams
  4. How Blue Can You Get
  5. Looking At Your Picture
  6. Love Can Make A Fool Of You
  7. Done Somebody Wrong
  8. Living With The Blues

Yesterday, April 16th, Italian legendary Speed/thrash metallers CELTIC HILLS released their new epic video for ‘The Tomorrow Of Our Sons‘, taken from their forthcoming album ‘Mystai Keltoy‘, coming out on May 15th 2021 via Elevate Records!

►Stream it on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/album/4EjEvXjVJ6rCBRX7lV5zuC

“Mystai Keltoy” is an enigmatic name that alludes to the Elusian Mysteries. The album includes 11 tracks that speak of ancient alien civilizations, European pyramids, legends and historical facts of Friuli, as you could already guess from the album cover. The album was recorded and produced at the Groove Factory in Udine by Michele Guaitoli, a prominent name for being the lead singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis, Era. Among the 11 songs one is sung by Germana Noage, ex singer of Aetherna and of the same Elevate Records team.

The formation of the power trio is Simone Cescutti on drums, Jacopo Novello on bass and Jonathan Vanderbilt on vocals and guitars. The cover is hand painted by Sheila Franco, the same girl who painted Blood Over Intents, and represents the myth of the ancient visitors. Jonathan Vanderbilt played and recorded the album with Panico Custom instruments, the Italian sponsor of custom lutherie of Luca Panico di Ravenna, a guitar specially created with the specifications requested by the Canadian guitarist.

“Mystai Keltoy” Tracklist:
The Light
Blood is not water
The tommorrow of our sons
The 7 heads dragon of Osoppo
Landing of the Gods
Already lost
Falling stars
Battle of Frigidum
Eden (sung by Germana Noage)
Temple of love

CELTIC HILLS were born in 2010, but only in 2020 they sign a recording contract with Elevate Records with which they release the album “Blood over Intents” and the EP “Schrage Musik” both in 2020.
In 2021 another album is out “Mystai Keltoy” produced and recorded by Michele Guaitoli singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis and Era. The style played is difficult to place in a single vein of metal, as there are many influences ranging from death to power, with sound elements that can also recall a certain type of 90’s thrash. The singing is quite varied, and for some listeners it may seem unusual in a metal band. power, speed and good melodic lines distinguish the band from others. Between 2010 and 2020 they released “Horns helmet fighters” and for the Slovak Music Globalliance they came out on international compilations on volumes 2,3,4.

Celtic Hills are
Lord of the voice: Jonathan Vanderbilt

Industrial-tinged extreme metal pioneers, FEAR FACTORY are proud to announce their tenth studio album Aggression Continuum, will be released on June 18th via Nuclear Blast just in time for the band’s 30th anniversary. Today, FEAR FACTORY offers fans the first preview of the album with the music video for “Disruptor“. Watch the video, directed by Riivata Visuals, here: https://nblast.de/FF-Disruptor-YT

Dino Cazares comments, “This record is one of my proudest achievements and I’m really excited for it to finally be released. There were a lot of personal struggles, sacrifices, and legal issues involved with this record which almost didn’t see the light of day, but through passion determination, lots of hard work and not giving up the fight, it’s finally ready for the world to hear. I felt that I needed to prove myself once again as I always try and make each record better than the last. Listen, and understand! This album is pissed! It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear and it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are hooked. You must fight to survive in the Aggression Continuum.”

Aggression Continuum will be available in various formats that you can preorder here:  www.fearfactory.com

Pre-save the album on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer here: nblast.de/FearFactory-AC

Aggression Continuum features guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder Dino Cazares; drummer Mike Heller; and former vocalist, lyricist, and co-founder Burton C. Bell. It was produced and engineered by Damien Rainaud (DRAGONFORCE, ONCE HUMAN), with keyboards by Igor Khoroshev (ex-YES), and programming on two songs from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY).  Aggression Continuum was mixed by A-list rock and metal producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM), who also mixed the album’s critically-acclaimed predecessor, Genexus. The artwork for the album was created by Francesco Artusato.

Below is the Aggression Continuum tracklisting:
1.            Recode
2.            Disruptor
3.            Aggression Continuum
4.            Purity
5.            Fuel Injected Suicide Machine
6.            Collapse
7.            Manufactured Hope
8.            Cognitive Dissonance
9.            Monolith
10.          End Of Line

FEAR FACTORY records are cinematic in scope; sonic landscapes, echoing the dystopian post-apocalyptic futures found in classic sci-fi literature and films, from Ray Bradbury to Blade Runner. Aggression Continuum, the tenth studio album, is the culmination of three decades of unforgettable songs, performances, and forward-thinking storytelling concepts, while simultaneously rebooting FEAR FACTORY onto a brilliant and excitingly unpredictable new path. Like the liquid metal T-1000 in the Terminator franchise or the Academy-Award winning reboot of Mad Max, Aggression Continuum is a turning point where what “was” transforms into what will be. It’s FEAR FACTORY’s own Fury Road.

LACUNA COIL Announce New Live Album & Release First Single ‘Bad Things’

Italian metal giants LACUNA COIL just announced the release of a new live album, entitled “Live From The Apocalypse”, to be released on June 25th via Nuclear Blast.

“Live From The Apocalypse” is the fruit of an unprecedented time. Unlike previous live efforts the Italians, under the yoke of the pandemic, cleverly devised a way for their devoted fan base to hear and see them on stage by organizing a special live stream event performing their latest album, “Black Anima” in its entirety, in September 2020. This very special show will now be released on vinyl and CD as well as a digital album. The physical album formats come with a bonus DVD featuring the footage of the original live stream.

With “Bad Things”, LACUNA COIL releases a very special single, as the original studio version has only been available as an Amazon exclusive track. As of now the live version is available on all digital platforms! You can watch the video to “Bad Things” taken from the bonus DVD here:

Track-list “Live From The Apocalypse”

  1. Anima Nera
  2. Sword Of Anger
  3. Save Me
  4. Now Or Never
  5. Reckless
  6. Through The Flames
  7. Apocalypse
  8. Black Feathers
  9. Under The Surface
  10. The End Is All I Can See
  11. Veneficium
  12. Black Dried Up Heart
  13. Bad Things
  14. Layers Of Time
  15. Black Anima
  16. Save Me (Apocalypse Version)

By all accounts, this was no ordinary gig. Even though LACUNA COIL were in their hometown of Milan—at the famed Alcatraz Club—there were no fans to greet them. No roar of anticipation; No claps of adulation; No interaction with the people who had become deeply involved in and had a profound love for LACUNA COIL’s music and live shows over two-plus decades. The live stream energy was different. It had to be. With hearts on their sleeves, cameras rolling, and the world tuning in online, LACUNA COIL brought “Black Anima: Live from the Apocalypse” to life.

“On one hand, it felt awkward to play for a huge empty room,” tells vocalist Andrea Ferro. “ But, on the other hand, it felt great to finally reconnect with our fans at home and with the people working behind the scenes. A lot of people enjoyed the show—it was definitely a one-off event loaded with a lot of emotions and feelings. Live from the Apocalypse is an opportunity to offer a new release to our fans while the COVID-19 crisis is still a real thing, affecting them and us. The live album represents a unique moment in our career (and life) that will be forever remembered as that one time when we literally ‘rose from the Apocalypse.’”
