Supergroup ACT OF DENIAL Sign With Crusader Records, Announce New Single ‘Slave’, Teaser Unveiled

International All-Stars melodic death metal band ACT OF DENIAL – feat. by lead guitarist and songwriter Voi Cox (Koziak, Victim), guitarist and lyricist Luger (Benighted, Koziak), vocalist Bjorn Speed Strid (Soilwork), bassist Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Testament), drummer Krimh (Septicflesh) and keyboardist John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra) – have signed a deal with CRUSADER RECORDS (Part of the Golden Robot Global Entertainment) which will see their debut album Negative released in 2021.

On top of the signing announcement ACT OF DENIAL will release a new single ‘Slave’ on March 29th which features a guest appearance by Ex-Soilwork guitarist Pete Wichers.

ACT OF DENIAL is an international melodic death metal group founded by lead guitarist and songwriter Voi Cox(Koziak, Victim) & guitarist Luger (Koziak, Benighted-Cro) in early 2020.

The band lineup is a metal who’s who and features vocalist Björn Strid (Soilwork), bassist Steve Di Giorgio(Death, Testament), drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner (Septicflesh) and keyboardist John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra). The Band also features other big names and special guests such as Bobby Koelble(Death), Peter Wichers (ex Soilwork), Matias “IA” Eklundh (Freak Kitchen) and Ron ‘’Bumblefoot’’ Thal (Guns N’ Roses, Sons of Apollo) who all contributed solos to the album.

The band’s debut album Negative is due for release in 2021 it has been preceded by three recent singles ‘Puzzle Heart’, ‘Controlled’ and ‘Down That Line’.

MEGADETH’s David Ellefson To Release His Award Winning Horror Film ‘Dwellers’ In October 2021

Ellefson Films (Amped/Alliance) will release their award winning found footage horror film Dwellers on October 12th, 2021 on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital.

Dwellers is a found footage horror film produced by Grammy award winning Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and written, directed and starring Drew Fortier. The film has already gained over twenty official selections from film festivals around the world, a number that is still growing. Dwellers has amassed glowing reviews while garnering a plethora of nominations and already winning 5 awards including:

Also featuring cameos from the film’s producer, David Ellefson, as well as former Mushroomhead vocalist, Jeff Hatrix.

The film’s plot is as follows:
While shooting a documentary on the suspicious disappearances within the homeless community, a filmmaker and his crew go missing while uncovering a terrifying and vicious secret below the city’s surface.

HERMAN FRANK, iconic guitarist of bands such as ACCEPT and VICTORY, has revealed more details about his upcoming, fifth solo- album, “Two For A Lie”, which will be out on May 21, 2021 via AFM Records.

Frank has been an integral part of the German metal scene since the early 80s. Starting with ACCEPT to VICTORY to his solo project, which was launched in 2009, the Hanoverian has proved a receipe for uncompromising heavy metal. With his highly acclaimed solo- records “Loyal To None”, “Right In The Guts”, “The Devils Ride Out” and “Fight The Fear” Frank and his comrades-in-arms are causing storms of enthusiasm in both the press and the fans. And there is no question that his new album “Two For A Lie” will seamlessly follow on from this. True to the motto “Never change a winning team”, Herman Frank has once again put his faith in the collaboration with MASTERPLAN front vocalist Rick Altzi and JADED HEART bassist Michael “Mülli” Müller, newly hired were guitarist Mike Pesin and drummer Kevin Kott on board of the battleship. Like its predecessors, “Two For A Lie” impresses through Frank’s characteristic guitar play, in which razor-sharp riffs meet rousing solos, Alchi’s brilliant vocals and the rhythm section grooving like clockwork provide the rest.

Kai Swillus from “Gestaltungskommando Buntmetall”, who already worked with bands such as Saxon, Motörhead or Annihilator, created the cover design and artwork.

DRAKKAR Release “The Coming of the Chaos Lord” Episode 3

Italian Legendary Power Metallers DRAKKAR have released their third and final video interview in a series covering their new album “Chaos Lord”, coming on March 26. This time it’s Marco (guitar) and Simone (bass) giving us their thoughts and insight about their first full-length with Drakkar, as they had previously worked only on two EPs with the band.

The band spent most of 2019 writing and recording the album, which was supposed to be released in 2020, when… a world pandemic happened!
