Volcano Records & Promotion releases today a single entitled ‘Regrets’, teaming up with Metal Shock Finland for an exclusive premiering, to present the new chapter in the story of the mysterious project METAL REMNANTS. Stream ‘Regrets’ below.

After several publications in the past years, the real identity behind METAL REMNANTS stays in the dark. Volcano Records & Promotion stated that “it’s a collective work of art produced by an unknown mastermind named Steve Remnant active between Italy and United States, but nothing else has never been revealed. Finnish HUMAN DESIGN Release Guitar Cover For Ludwig van Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’

Finnish HUMAN DESIGN have released an epic guitar cover for Ludwig van Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ (1st Movement).

The band’s guitarist Kristian Tiihonen stated:
“There are many versions already and some very Epic. Why make one more? Well…I was surprised not finding melody played with distorted guitar. Ha…need to make one. Actually melody is quite often not present at all. Pointed a small pc speaker right to my guitar creating lot of feedback (there’s IG video about recording session @humandesignband). Crying guitar is the essence of this version. This short version is very straight forward and you can easily play along. At the end though had to reorganize to double the finale. Off course tried to invent some new hooks but this piece is a hit for a reason. There really is no way to improve this master composition. Can add layers, breaks, mess a bit with arrangement but core cannot be altered without damage. “Don’t fix if it’s not broken”. Yes to that.”

Human Design was founded 1997 with a goal to make melodramatic music with a hint of sarcasm. Dark sound scape on a steady pulse was achieved by combining drop tuned baritone guitar and 5-string bass with sequencers and orchestral influences. Baritone singer strives to reach higher pitches creating a unique HD-vibration.

Song writer has a classical background but lusts for prominent snare-kick punch and melodies that give “out of genre”-dimension making songs stand out from the box. Epic orchestral music is essential element.

Human Design combines and utilizes best of classical-, heavy- and pop-music. There are tracks suitable as film scores and part are simple rock songs. Epic Emotions is all that matters. Genre is far secondary.

Human Design is usually not alone. “Epic Emotions” concerts brings choirs, dancers and guest-stars to the stage. No ideas are ruled out. Sometimes audience is performing too. Lighting and video fitted to the feeling along with quadraphonic live sound completes the mood giving audience the experience they deserve.

A KILLER’S CONFESSION Release New Single “Remember”

A KILLER’S CONFESSION – the band led by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis – have released a brand new single “Remember” via Wake Up! Music Rocks (a division of Wake Up! Music). The single is from the band’s highly anticipated third album coming out later this year.

Formed in 2016 in Cleveland, OH, A Killer’s Confession (AKC) is led by vocalist Waylon Reavis and consists of Morgan Bauer (drums), JP Cross (bass), and Tommy Church (guitar).

The debut album from AKC Unbroken was released on May 12th, 2017, via EMP Group, the label founded by Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson. The first single, “A Killer’s Confession,” featured Korn  guitarist  Brian  “Head” Welch. After the contract term ended with EMP Group, the band self-released their next three singles (“Angel On The Outside,” “I Wish,” and “Reanimated“) all to critical and commercial acclaim, racking up over 2 million cumulative streams on Spotify.

In 2019, Pepper Gomez, the founder and CEO of Chicago and Miami based Wake Up! Music Group signed A Killer’s Confession.  The band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album The Indifference Of Good Men was produced by Sahaj Ticotin (vocalist for Ra) in Los Angeles, CA. It included the single “Numb,” along with the previously released singles “I Wish,” “Reanimated,” and “Angel On The Outside.”

NETHERLANDS Frontman TIMO ELLIS To Release ‘Death Is Everywhere’ Solo EP In Late February

New York City-based multi-instrumentalist TIMO ELLIS – vocalist/frontman for Netherlands and widely known for his work with the likes of Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, Spacehog, John Zorn, The Melvins, Ween, and many others – presents an explosive new solo EP, Death Is Everywhere. Now confirmed for independent release at the end of February, a brief teaser and other details on the EP have been issued.

Death Is Everywhere sees TIMO ELLIS handling all songwriting and instrumentation including drums, basses, guitars, vocals, and keyboards. Over four dense and intense tracks, elements of a wide array of genres, styles, and instrumentation are seamlessly mutated into a white-knuckled ride that stampedes straight through the confines of any sort of genre boundaries. Buoyant, rampant, and incessantly imaginative, the tracks bob and weave across a range of tempos and textures and keep the listener curiously hooked. Highly recommended for fans of the Melvins, Curtis Mayfield, Queens Of The Stone Age, Nomeansno, and The Beach Boys.
