Winter’s Verge is one of Cyprus’ most successful metal bands. British alternative electro-rock band SHAPE OF WATER will release a new EP entitled Lockdown On Mars on February 12, 2021 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Paul Reeve (Muse, Supergrass, Beta Band) and mixed by Rox Capriotti. The album art was designed by Luca De Falco at Luca De Falco Artworks. Lockdown On Mars by Shape Of Water is an exciting cinematic rebirth of electro art-rock that you need to hear to believe! Through the lockdowns and isolation of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Shape Of Water “reinvented” some of their fan’s favorite songs. Reimagined, re-recorded cinematic versions of “Mars-X” and “The World Is Calling Me” highlight the Lockdown On Mars EP which was produced by Paul Reeve (Muse, Supergrass, Beta Band) and mixed by Rox Capriotti. These instant classics, along with an electro-acoustic version of “Perfect Love” and a daring remake of Still Karma entitled “The Great Still Karma” breathe new life into these fan favorites. Top it all off with a cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails, and this EP sets a new bar for the alternative electro-rock scene. The band have also revealed their first music video from the EP, for the first single entitled “Perfect Love (Electro-acoustic Version)“. The video was directed by Luca De Falco. Watch it right now, below.
“Perfect Love is about sexual experimentation and the thin line between sexual freedom, love and guilt” says guitarist Luca De Falco. “During the lockdowns, we did several livestreams for our fans, and in one session we did an acoustic version of Perfect Love. We got a lot of positive comments about it, so we decided to dig out our masters from the Great Illusions album and reinvent the track.” Vocalist Rox Capriotti adds “we were lucky to have the chance to film this video while lockdown restrictions were more relaxed. It’s not just about the song itself but the video is us screaming at the world, expressing our frustration with the pandemic and asking when will we be able to play again in front of live audiences… We really miss that!”

The first thing you’ll notice about this LTD Deluxe H-1001 is its Violet Andromeda Satin finish. The Andromeda finish makes the guitar appear various shades of blue, violet, and even green as light is reflected from various angles. The H-1001 is the first LTD version of this outstanding design in a satin finish. It offers an arched-top mahogany body with set-thru construction at 25.5” scale. It features a set of direct-mount Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) pickups with push-pull coil splitting, a Hipshot bridge with string-thru-body, a Hipshot bridge with string-thru-body design, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

Los Angeles-based guitarist/songwriter Bill Hudson (NORTHTALE, I AM MORBID, former DIRKSCHNEIDER, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, Circle II Circle, Jon Oliva’s Pain and more) has become a very sought after name in the hard rock world in recent years. Whether he is in Germany headlining the biggest heavy metal festival in the world or in the studio recording guitars for a video game soundtrack, there’s never a dull moment in the life of the Brazilian musician. In the summer of 2015, he made history in Germany, headlining Wacken Open Air, performing in front of 80,000 fans with the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA. Hudson joined the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA also for their winter tour in 2015, performing 52 shows in 6 weeks throughout the US and Canada for an average of 15,000 fans a day. From April 2017 to April 2018 Bill Hudson made part of the DIRKSCHNEIDER line-up, touring widely both America and Europe. In February 2018 Bill launched his new power metal band, NORTHTALE, releasing the debut album “Welcome To Paradise” on August 2nd 2019, via Nuclear Blast. NORTHTALE’s upcoming album is in the works and it’s expected to be released in the first half of 2021 via Nuclear Blast Records.

RAGE IN MY EYES is a heavy metal band from Brazil. For 17 years the band went under the name SCELERATA, that had a huge history in the Brazilian heavy metal scenario. The band had three albums released worldwide, including the acclaimed album “The Sniper”, feat. guest appearances from Paul DiAnno (former Iron Maiden) and Andi Deris (Helloween). Scelerata was also Paul DiAnno’s official Brazilian backing band from 2009 to 2014, playing 50+ shows with this heavy metal icon. On October 9th, 2019, RAGE IN MY EYES joined IRON MAIDEN in Porto Alegre, Brazil, at Gremio Stadium. With this huge background, the musicians are now aiming for the future.
RAGE IN MY EYES’ latest album, entitled “Ice Cell”, is available on all digital platforms. The album was recorded between 2017 and 2018 in the cities of Los Angeles (USA) and Porto Alegre (Brazil) and was produced by Magnus Wichmann at Magneto Studio (Brazil) and Daufembach Studio (USA). It was mixed and mastered in Los Angeles by the renowned Brazilian producer Adair Daufembach. The cover was designed by Tiago Masseti, who has worked with Hibria, Luis Kalil and Daydream XI. According to the band, the graphic art seeks to show the mascot Sage in a darker mood: “We wanted to present a more realistic Sage, with a strong expression and at the same time that seemed marked by life; we brought him closer to us.”
After three years of hard work, Italian musician Alberto Sonzogni has crafted ten songs for his debut album ‘September Man’, set to be released on February 12th 2021.
The sound of the record has been highly driven by Sonzogni’s listenings of artists like Toto, Joe Bonamassa, Eagles and many more. The result is a unique blend of melodic rock and aor, influenced by country and blues as well.
Alberto’s country and southern rock influences are highlighted in his new single ‘A little bit older’, the first one taken form the record.
The track features singer Carmen Giammona as special guest on lead vocals and is now available on all the digital platforms.

“This song combines furious noise and docile sounds, swinging between darkness and light, blending drone guitars inspired by Sunno)) and Massive Attack.”Alice tells us. “It talks about the unbearable pressure of desire and the inevitability of succumbing to its will. It evokes loneliness and restlessness, but also the beauty of being human.
The video we made for this song, although inspired by the lyrics, tells a slightly different story: it is a reflection on our vulnerable and temporary state as human beings, where the future and the past merge in a constant present in which we are fire and light. Our immortalised image will travel through time, but it will carry only an echo of what we were or what we wanted to be.”
Completely Fine was produced by Aliceissleeping and engineered by Will Maya (The Answer) between England and Spain. The artwork, inspired by b-movie posters, was created by Federico Salis.
