For the first time in history, Iranian and Scandinavian metalheads joined forces to pay a tribute to the unique rock and metal legend, Lemmy and BRAVEWORDS is there to support! JUPITERIUM is proud to release ‘King of Spades’, a tribute song to Ian Fraser Kilmister, Lemmy; featuring amazing artists as special guests, Marko Hietala (NIGHTWISH, TAROT), Johan Koleberg (Ex-HAMMERFALL, Ex-THERION, WOLF), Niclas Etelävuori (Ex AMORPHIS, FLAT EARTH) via a lyric video which can be watched here.
The song was mixed and mastered by JUPITERIUM’s Ehsan Imani and artwork and lyric video is done by Mohsen “Stargazer” Fayazi at Stargazer MultiMedia.
“I think we can call 2020 many names but one can be the year of division, even in the metal music community, people are getting divided over their political opinions and this virus makes it even worse.” Stated JUPITERIUM’s Mohsen “Stargazer” Fayazi “I believe in situations like this, Lemmy, an icon over anyone or anything, could bring us all back together and remind us that we, metal brothers and sisters are more alike than different! That’s what we tried to do in this tribute project but still no one is like him! We miss you very much Lemmy! Gone but not forgotten!”
2020 is the twentieth anniversary of MOTORHEAD‘s iconic song, ‘Ace of Spades’ which was released on 27 October 1980 and stormed British music charts for weeks. This year is also the fifth anniversary of Lemmy who left us on December 28, 2015.
Finnish Rockers GENTLE SAVAGE, formed in 2013, have announced their new single, entitled ‘YNAMW (You Never Ask Me Why)’ coming out still by the end of 2020, revealing first teasing details about it. YNAMW is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album ‘Midnight Waylay’, out in February 2021. Furthermore the band reveals the single cover artwork, created by Vin Valentino.
Lead vocalist Tornado on the single: “YNAMW is a fairly weird song. With it’s rhythmic and dynamic character YNAMW gives you some real nice boost while jogging or coupling or just rockin’ around.. (Meditation is propably out of the question). Four different parts include two solos and of course – a catchy chorus. YNAMW tells a story about a modern cowboy-vampire and his call to action. Our hero reveals his yearn for eternal love. And just for making sure; this story is fictive! More about it later.”
On November 27th, GENTLE SAVAGE unleashed their new analog animation music video of an adventure in the Underworld, ‘Honey Bunny -the Rock’n Roll transformation’. Just recently the band released two reaction videos, where the band members Jay & Tornado and the cartoonist Jyrki Heikkinen give their reaction while watching the fully edited video for the first time. Watch below.

‘Honey Bunny – The Rock’n Roll Transformation’ video was made in collaboration with cartoon artist Jyrki Heikkinen and photographer Ilari Kallinen. The story was created by Tornado Bearstone and Jyrki Heikkinen alongside the Gentle Savage’s guitarist Tim O’Shore.
“Break the boundaries, find your own way!”
Gentle Savage’s debut album, ‘Midnight Waylay’ is coming out in February 2021. It’s a way of describing an ambush at midnight, or going to a rock show; you never know what’s going to happen out there.
Midnight Waylay depicts a ‘taking it easy in the daytime, turning into a beast at night’ kind of lifestyle. Just like a hunter strikes from the shadows, ruthless and silent, these songs can without warning rock your world.
As a concept the album Midnight Waylay is best appreciated when served whole, but each song has its own character and works well independently. Find your own adventure, let yourself loose!”
“It is all about the songs. And their internal message. That’s the basic philosophy behind Gentle Savage.”
GENTLE SAVAGE are: Tornado Bearstone, songwriter, vocals and guitar Jay B, drums and backing vocals Vance Bead, bass and backing vocals Tim O`Shore, guitar and backing vocals Theo van Boom, keyboards and backing vocals
’Treat yourself and let our magic in. We’ll take care of the rest’.

Bay Area thrash legends DEATH ANGEL have released a new animated video produced by Ben Clarkson for the song “Aggressor,” from their critically lauded album “Humanicide.” The video arrives just ahead of the band’s highly anticipated 7th annual “Another Death Angel XMas Show,” which takes place over 2 days on December 19th (8PM PT/11PM ET) and 20th (12PM PT/3PM ET).
Commenting on the video, guitarist Rob Cavestany says:
“The idea started as a visualizer for the song but when we saw the footage we were hooked and knew it had to turn into a complete video. Ben did an incredible job of depicting the “Aggressor” concept and his artistic style is unique for Death Angel. The timing of this release couldn’t be better given the circumstances that surround us! See for yourself…”
The band will celebrate the holidays with “Another Death Angel XMas Show” live and streaming from The Great Northern in San Francisco on December 19th (8PM PT/11PM ET) and 20th (12PM PT/3PM ET). Tickets for the shows and a variety of VIP packages are on sale now!
“The show must go on! The 7th Annual Death Angel Xmas show will be streamed from the Great Northern in San Francisco on two dates in December. In honor of this yearly tradition, we’re preparing to deliver a fully packed, high energy show that is sure to get you thrashing around on your living room floor! While we’ll miss seeing the faces of all the wonderful people that come out each and every year from near and far to help close out the year with us, we’re happy to be able to invite the rest of the world to be a part of this annual celebration of life and music.”
DEATH ANGEL are celebrating the continued success of their latest album “Humanicide,” which was one of 2019’s most critically praised metal records and nominated for a “Best Metal Performance” GRAMMY AWARD.
To celebrate the 11th Anniversary of its original release, Dark Essence Records is set to make “The Malefactor’s Bloody Register”, the sophomore full-length album from Norwegian Progressive Metallers VULTURE INDUSTRIES, available in vinyl format for the first time ever.
The vinyl edition of “The Malefactor’s Bloody Register” has had a complete makeover because, what was meant to be a simple re-mix, produced a master that sounded worse than the original. The album has therefore been “re-mixed, un-mixed, re-mastered and un-mastered”, in order to meet the exacting standards that VULTURE INDUSTRIES place on themselves.
Originally recorded at the Conclave & Earshot Studios by Bjørnar Erevik Nilsen, and mastered by Brian Gardner (ISIS, NIN, David Bowie), “The Malefactor’s Bloody Register” includes guest appearances from Herbrand Larsen (ex-ENSLAVED / ex-AUDREY HORNE) on Hammond organ, Øyvind Rødset (formerly of UGRESS) on saxophone, Audun Berg Selfjord (FUNIN) on cello and Kristin Hunter (ex-Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra) on viola.
The cover art for “The Malefactor’s Bloody Register” is designed by Maja Markegård and features Helge Jordal on the cover, making it the second time that the actor appears on a VULTURE INDUSTRIES release. One of Norway’s most respected character actors, Jordal’s collaboration with VULTURE INDUSTRIES started when he heard “The Dystopia Journals” and agreed to work with the band. This time he takes on the guise of the Hangman, brandishing a law book and clutching a noose, in an album that takes a satirical look at the theme of crime and punishment from the perspective of both the criminal and the hangman.
Track listing for “The Malefactor’s Bloody Register” is as follows:
Side A: Crooks and sinners Race for the gallows The bolted door Of branded blood
Side B: I hung my heart on Harrow square This cursed flesh Hangman’s hatch Crowning the cycle
With a career spanning over a decade and with hundreds of shows under their belts, VULTURE INDUSTRIES are well known both for the technical skill of their lineup, which comprises Øyvind Madsen and Eivind Huse on Guitars, Tor Helge Gjengedal on Drums, Kyrre Teigen on Bass and Bjørnar E. Nilsen on Vocals, and the eccentric and somewhat manic antics of frontman Nilsen, whose on-stage weirdness has garnered a multitude of fans for the band over the years.
“The Malefactor’s Bloody Register” will released on the 5th March 2021 and will be available in red in black coloured vinyl. It can now be pre-ordered from:
