With “The Burning Flame,” Swedish progressive metal masters EVERGREY share the last single from their upcoming fifteenth album, Architects Of A New Weave, which releases this Friday, June 5, 2026, via Napalm Records. On “The Burning Flame,” Frontman Tom S. Englund is joined by fellow Gothenburg icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline) in vocal duties, and the voices of the two scene legends intertwine compellingly, building a new yet comfortingly recognizable EVERGREY sound. BraveWords Records Announces Signing of TAZ TAYLOR BAND

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of the Taz Taylor Band. All of the Taz Taylor Band releases are now available to stream or download on Bandcamp at https://bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com.

Guitarist Taz Taylor first came to attention when he released “Welcome To America” the debut Taz Taylor Band album in 2006. This album featured legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, MSG, Alcatrazz) and was met with widespread critical acclaim. Over the next couple of years the band toured extensively in Europe and the U.K. Since then Taz has collaborated with other notables such as Mark Boals, Doogie white and Deep Purple keyboardist, Don Airey as well as maintaining a presence on the live scene in his adopted home of Southern California. 2025 finds Taz Taylor Band releasing their 8th album, “The Other Side Of Midnight.” But this time there is a difference…a female vocalist!

Taz explains… “After we completed our last album (Nocturnal) with all of the guest vocalists, we needed to find a guy who could cover all of that material in the live setting. Well as it turns out, that wasn’t as easy as we thought. In fact we had to turn to a girl instead!”.

So into the frame enters Laura K. Vreeland.

Taz continues… “The cool thing about this is that after working with so many guest vocalists whilst still doing a lot of fully instrumental shows in between, this is actually the very first time that we have made an album with a vocalist who is actually IN the band! By the release of the album we will have been playing together for almost three years and the musical chemistry is incredible.”

About TAZ TAYLOR:

In January 1997 UK-born Taz Taylor took a leap of faith and boarded a plane to Los Angeles with nothing more than a guitar, a backpack and roughly $2,000… 

He spent much of his first year in the USA as a long haul truck driver, criss-crossing the country countless times in an 18-wheeler and spending the downtime in his sleeper berth practicing guitar. Eventually he settled in San Diego CA and set about recording his debut instrumental album “Caffeine Racer” which was released in July 2004. A band was formed and live shows commenced. 


Caffeine Racer got the attention of legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, most notable for working with the best guitarists in rock (Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) and they set about recording the Taz Taylor Band album “Welcome To America” which was released on the UK label Escape Music in Aug 2006. 


International tours followed in 2007 and 2008, taking the band to UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic.

In 2009 the band recruited another ex-MSG vocalist, Keith Slack for the “Straight Up” album, also on Escape Music, and also featuring a guest appearance from Deep Purple’s Don Airey on keyboards.

2010 saw the band returning to Taz’s instrumental roots with the release of “Big Dumb Rock” and the band played a string of dates to promote BDR opening for MSG (5 times), Uli Jon Roth (6 times), UFO (twice), Gary Hoey (5 times), Pat Travers (3 times), Dokken, Skid Row, Great White, Molly Hatchet, LA Guns (3 times), Lynch Mob, Wishbone Ash, Tony McAlpine (4 times), Alan Holdsworth, Ace Frehley, John 5 (4 times) and Eric Johnson.


In 2014 TTB released “Deja Voodoo”, an all instrumental offering of eight songs and the band took to the road playing shows all across the UK as well as in California.


June 2017 saw the release of “Pressure And Time”. This album featured the vocal talents of Chandler Mogel and also the return of Taz’ acoustic guitar playing which featured prominently on 3 of the songs on this album, most notably on a complete re-working of “Highway Song” originally recorded by Blackfoot.

This album was released on Escape Music in Europe and on Rubicon Music in Japan. The Japanese version included a live bonus track, Explorations… recorded on the band’s 2014 tour in the U.K.

2019 saw the release of “Hats, Tats And Guitars”…Taz’ favorite Instrumental release!

2022 heralded a new beginning for TTB. Now managed by Giles Lavery Management and signed to new label Global Rock Records, TTB released “Nocturnal” an album of Melodic Hard Rock featuring a handful of world class guest vocalists including Graham Bonnet, Mark Boals and Doogie White amongst others and showcasing the continuing evolution of Taz’ guitar playing!

In anticipation, Haynes has revealed the full track listing for Dreams & Songs. The 16-track collection explores all aspects of his incredible catalog and career including music from Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, his solo albums, and more. Dreams & Songs, available in Europe via Provogue/Artone and in the U.S. via Evil Teen Records, was recorded in 2019 at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, when he debuted his one-of-a-kind Dreams & Songs symphonic show alongside the 64-piece Asheville Symphony Orchestra and his lineup of seasoned rock ‘n’ roll improvisers including Oteil Burbridge on bass, John Medeski on organ and keys, Jeff Sipe on drums, and Greg Osby on saxophone as well as Edwin McCain and Jasmine Muhammad on background vocals. “‘Shakedown Street’ is a really powerful orchestrated arrangement that enhances the power of the original, which I played and sang a ton of times with those guys through the years, especially with Phil Lesh and Friends, but with The Dead as well,” shares Haynes. “It’s a very danceable song. A lot of people just focus on the groove and get lost in the rhythmic quality of it. The orchestra forces you to pay attention to it in a different way.  It’s very dark and powerful and, I think, very effective. This song goes back to the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, which was my first experience with an orchestra. That’s kind of what started this whole journey for me, which is still going on.”
 
Haynes will bring his acclaimed Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience show to Nashville next year for two nights at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center with the Nashville Symphony on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12, 2027, presented by Lightning 100. He will be joined by musicians John Medeski, Kevin Scott, Terence Higgins and Greg Osby along with vocalists Saundra Williams and Mayteana Morales, all led by conductor Rich Daniels from the Chicago City Lights Orchestra.
 
Until then, Warren Haynes will be busy on the road with his bandmates in Gov’t Mule. The revered GRAMMY-nominated quintet is touring this summer on their headlining Kicking In Your Stall Tour as well as co-headlining trek with longtime friend and blues-rock titan Joe Bonamassa, traveling all over the U.S. from July 22nd through August 23rd. Afterwards, Gov’t Mule will head out on the newly announced Dreaming The Same Dream Tour with Ziggy Marley in the fall. The 16-date co-headlining outing, also featuring a guest DJ set from YOLA, kicks off September 23rd at New York City and wraps October 17th in Dallas. Opening The Dungeon Tapes is a uniquely exciting venture from Pelagic United and Friends, a project consisting of members from Spotlights, Rosetta, Failure, Shy Low and Hiroe, who have come together to record a version of My Bloody Valentine’s ‘Soon’. Turning the shoegaze into spaciousness and ethereality into brutal impact, this classic track sees a strikingly direct, darker and emotionally raw interpretation.

CORELLA Share New Single ‘Bitter End’ with Official Video

CORELLA have released their brand new single “Bitter End,” the latest song taken from their forthcoming second album ‘A Beautiful World To Lose,’ out on September 18th via FLG. “Bitter End” arrives alongside an official video, available below. 

“Bitter End” is a scorching indie rock track which is quick to take no prisoners, tearing out the blocks in a frenzy of distortion and pounding drums, while frontman Joel Smith plays rock ‘n’ roll ringmaster with his lyrical snarl taking aim at the circus of life and the rat race for success. 

CORELLA debuted the new single live to a rabid reaction from fans on their whistlestop headline tour across the North of England last week. Performing packed to the rafters shows at six sweaty intimate venues, they unleashed a number of tracks from ‘A Beautiful World To Lose’ live for the first time to chaotic scenes as displayed in the video for “Bitter End.” 

Regarding the single, Joel says:

“‘Bitter End’ captures that restless drive to chase something bigger, exploring the highs, chaos, and obsession that come with wanting more out of life. It plays with the idea of the modern dream; success, excess, and the determination to keep pushing no matter the cost.”
