Platinum selling legendary LA rockers ANGELES‘ founder Dale George Lytle is proud to announce the release of their new video for the acclaimed radio hit ‘Celebrate’, taken from the band’s latest effort ‘Hell On High Heels’, which was released on July 3rd 2020, via Dark Star Records/Sony/Universal!

Just previously the band announced that they are currently working on a new album, scheduled for Spring 2021 release. Furthermore the band reveals that a new single will be unleashed in early 2021.

The band stated:
“We’re totally thrilled to announce that we’re currently working on our next album, which also will be a debut with our new drummer Chris Cato! The album is set to be released in Spring 2021. We’ll reveal more details as the recordings will start, so stay tuned! Besides this, our new single will be unleashed in early 2021, giving you a first taste of our upcoming album!”

HEAVEN SHALL BURN Announce European Tour Dates For 2021 With TRIVIUM

After a year full of privation and a lean period of live gigs, we can already look forward to Winter 2021: With HEAVEN SHALL BURN and TRIVIUM. Two metal bands are going on a European tour to heat up the cold months.

Heaven Shall Burn can’t wait to get back on stage. After a two year break from concerts, during which they released the epic double album Of Truth and Sacrifice, reaching number one on the German charts, they wanted to get started playing live again in 2020 but the Coronavirus had other plans. They haven’t been able to play their new songs live yet except for a special XR show at the online festival Wacken World Wide. One can assume that they will bring the big guns to present their ninth album live on stage in 2021 and to celebrate their 25^th band anniversary.

Band leader Maik Weichert is pleased, “There has been a strong and special connection between Trivium and Heaven Shall Burn since the earliest days. When we met Trivium for the first time, they were very young but already highly talented youngsters, today they´re a global power of metal. Over the years Heaven Shall Burn and Trivium destroyed small clubs and demolished big arenas together, we had great times together in both Saalfeld and Sydney. We´re proud and touched, that our common history is now being continued and we finally tour Europe with the guys again.”

From the elaborate stage scenery to the unbelievable energy that Heaven Shall Burn displays again and again, every concert is an adventure. Hardly any other German band has impressively tied political and social topics, such as animal and human rights, into the metal scene known for it’s heavy riffs and circle pits. Successful albums such as the Iconoclast Trilogy and Wanderer as well as indomitable anthems like “Endzeit” and “Voice Of The Voiceless” have made Heaven Shall Burn one of the biggest international names in the scene for a long time.

Even their old friends Trivium, one of the most important metal bands of the 21st Century, explain their anticipation of touring together; “Heaven Shall Burn was one of Trivium’s earliest introductions to Hardcore/Metalcore mixed with Melodic Death and Death Metal; with very important lyrics that dealt with society and the world as a whole. We started off on the same record label back in the early 2000’s.”

Their appetite becomes ravenous as the Orlando, Florida natives are finally able to play their new songs. In Spring 2020 Trivium released their ninth album What The Dead Men Say, with the band’s typical mixture of devastating harshness, technical demands, great melodies and irresistible hooks, this new album once again promises great live moments.

Heaven Shall Burn and Trivium will be supported by none other than Prog-Metal TesseracT and Deathcore power Fit For An Autopsy. “To top the line up off two exceptional bands, TesseracT and Fit for an Autopsy, have agreed to join us,” says Maik from Heaven Shall Burn. Trivium agree, “Fit For An Autopsy are some of our best friends on the planet and one of our favorite bands; and TesseracT is a band we’ve been dreaming of touring with. THIS is the tour to bring back touring in Europe.”

Sweden’s heavy doom rockers AVATARIUM might not have been able to set the European stages on fire with their magical live show this year due to obvious reasons – however, instead, they’ll bring the best tracks from their four studio albums right into your living room now!

After previously releasing their “Live In Stockholm” show as downloadable concert via Blackbox in August (still available here: https://avatarium.solidtango.com), the band has now announced that their first official live release titled “An Evening With Avatarium” will be available on all streaming platforms on December 4th.

Guitar master Marcus Jidell comments: “This concert was recorded right before the outbreak of Covid-19; it’s the tour we should have made 2020. In these hard and challenging times we hope you’ll get some good energy and power from our doomy, intense, dynamic and heavy show!!”

Finland’s SIMULACRUM is an exciting progressive metal band hailing from one of most fruitful countries for metal music in the world, Finland. The band will release their third album overall, “Genesis” on February 12, 2021. The album is a stunningly strong statement for the progressive metal world with hard hitting melodic progressive metal paying homage to the great prog bands of the ‘70s without forgetting to blend in the best elements of the genre’s current direction. “The song ‘Nothing Remains’ is a hard hitting, high tempo progressive metal song I wrote for this album. I tried to honour some of my early musical influences, like Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer when I wrote this tune and you can hear this in some of the chunking riffs and the infernal thrash metal segment that is in between the keyboard and guitar solo. The band did a top notch performance for this song, so we wanted to make a music video for it. The music video is almost like a female Robocop oriented story of a soldier who signs up for cybernetic body augmentation and loses a part of her humanity with every upgrade, until almost nothing remains… hence the name of the song. At the end of the video you can see the spark of humanity that is left in her, when she spares the life of the rebel fighter. We hope you all enjoy this single as much as we enjoyed making it!” says Christian “Chrism” Pulkkinen, the band’s keyboardist and founder.

The roots of Simulacrum go back to 1999 when Christian “Chrism” Pulkkinen started writing his first batch of songs, which a few years later would end up on the band’s debut album, “The Master and the Simulacrum” (2012). In 2015, the band’s sophomore album, “Sky Divided,” a concept album revolving around a classic ‘War of the Worlds’ type story with an alien race attacking planet earth for its resources, was released. The album was a big evolutionary step for the band, with some straightforward power and thrash metal tunes joining 10 minute epics that payed homage to the prog giants of the ’70s and ’90s. The album was a bit more polished compared to the debut, from how the songs were performed to continuity throughout the album. As with the debut, Simulacrum received quite a bit of praise in the metal media and showed that they were becoming a force to reckon with.

After the release of ‘Sky Divided’, the band started the process of enlisting some new members in the creation of their next album. Simulacrum parted ways with drummer Henri Kallio and enlisted Tatu Turunen as their new drummer. The band also started thinking outside of the box and instead of having one frontman, they decided to make the move to have two lead vocalists. After extensive auditions, Erik Kraemer was chosen to join the band. He has a tone that varies enough from original frontman Niklas Broman’s style and also has the range required to sing the sometimes very difficult vocal lines, which makes for a perfect combination between the two.

The band then slowly started putting together ideas for a new album, the demos for which caught the attention of Frontiers Music Srl, who snapped up the band for a multi-album deal.
