Following a highly successful headline tour across Germany and Europe in February and March 2026, Heaven Shall Burn return to their roots this summer – back to the places where their shows have always been at their most intense: the clubs.
Hailing from Thüringen, the band once again proved with their latest release why they remain one of the most influential forces in the international metal scene. Their recent tour was nearly completely sold out and celebrated by both fans and critics alike.
But those who truly know Heaven Shall Burn understand: the band’s magic doesn’t just unfold on big stages – it thrives in small, sweaty venues where energy, closeness and raw emotion collide. With the “Heimat Over Europe Clubtour 2026”, the band brings exactly that experience back.
Across just six exclusive shows, fans will get the rare chance to experience the band’s overwhelming live energy up close. Anyone who has witnessed these moments before knows how powerful and unforgettable they are.
Fans can also look forward to a strong lineup of support acts: Sanguisugabogg bring their crushing, groove-heavy take on modern death metal, while 200 Stab Wounds have quickly risen as one of the most exciting acts in the new wave of old-school-inspired death metal.
Tickets are on sale now, exclusively via the Endzeit merchandise store at www.endzeit.shop. As in the past, demand will be high – these intimate club shows are expected to sell out quickly.
This tour is deliberately limited: six nights, six clubs, maximum intensity. Don’t miss the chance to experience the band in its most powerful form.
UK metal powerhouse Sylosisare pleased to announce that Heaven Shall Burn, The Black Dahlia Murder and Frozen Soul, will all be joining the bill for their show on February 20th, at London‘s O2 Forum Kentish Town. This crushing line-up is guaranteed to be metal’s billing of the year!
Sylosis stated:
“Friday 20th February marks the release of our new album ‘The New Flesh’ and what better way to celebrate than bringing this insane bill together under one roof. As soon as the fans made us aware that both shows were clashing in London on the same night, the penny dropped. This is the heaviest line up that the O2 Forum has ever seen and a night to celebrate all things metal. Head on down to our Q&A / album signing during the day then get on over to the venue for endless riffs. You do not want to miss this!”

When the going gets tough, metal gets heavier. SYLOSIS have always been devoted to the fine art of breaking necks, but in recent times, the urgency of their mission has grown exponentially. Still surfing on a wave of acclaim and the effusive fan response to their last album, 2023’s A Sign Of Things To Come, Josh Middleton’s virtuoso wrecking crew are poised to release their latest and best album, The New Flesh. A towering testament to destructive riffing, incisive melody and refined brute force, the band’s seventh full-length offering is a powerful showcase for the state of SYLOSIS in 2025: lethal, uncompromising, and avowedly metal as all hell.
The New Flesh is a fearsome statement of renewed intent. Harder, heavier and more ruthless than its predecessor, it is full of the kind of explosive, riff-driven anthems that guarantee carnage in the pit. But this is no exercise in mindless bludgeon: instead, Josh Middleton has penned his most evocative and thought-provoking songs to date. From the punishing grooves and breakneck viciousness of the opening ‘Beneath The Surface‘, to the epic conflagration of album closer ‘Seeds In The River‘, The New Flesh is an artful and nuanced take on the pure metal that SYLOSIS hold close to their hearts. This is brutality and catchiness in perfect symbiosis.
Dark and destructive, but dynamic and diligent, SYLOSIS are on blistering, career-best form on The New Flesh. The purposeful reset that began with The Sign Of Things To Come has evolved into something unstoppable, and the band’s latest work brims with confidence and authority. If it’s skull-shattering, 21st century heavy metal you want, The New Flesh brings it like never before.

To celebrate the release of new album “Heimat”, HEAVEN SHALL BURN released the epic yet bleak video for “War Is The Father Of All” including the intro “Ad Arma”. The elaborate shoot was produced by Mirko Witzki. With the video, the band returns to an end-time (home) location that some fans will remember:
The world is in turmoil, and HEAVEN SHALL BURN dive straight into the heart of today’s storms with righteous fury and unrelenting energy. “Ad Arma” means “To arms.” The band’s weapons, however, remain unchanged: words, riffs, and heavy metal. One example is “War Is The Father Of All,” an epic anthem inspired by the war in Ukraine. It features a choir arranged by conductor Wilhelm Keitel and composed of Ukrainian musicians.
The theme runs throughout the album. The phrase comes from the Greek philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus, who said over 2,500 years ago: “War is the father of all things and the king of all.” Tragically, that idea is experiencing a troubling renaissance today. “I grew up behind the Iron Curtain in East Germany,” says guitarist Maik Weichert. “For those of us who value peace, it’s a hard truth that the Cold War—with its arms race and nuclear deterrents—may have preserved peace more effectively than any international treaties. ‘If you hit me, I hit back harder’—that seems to resonate more with human nature than the wish for peace on Earth. It’s a bitter pill to swallow.”
Three orchestral pieces frame this philosophical exploration of war. The opener “Ad Arma” is followed mid-album by “Imminence,” which acts as a divider between the A- and B-sides of Heimat, before “Inter Arma” closes the record. Once again, the strings are laced with melancholy. Metaphorically, the war is over, gunpowder still clouds the air, and the battlefield is littered with the fallen. Where Ad Arma means “To arms,” Inter Arma—“In times of war”—describes war as a constant in human history.
“For us, though, those titles are meant to metaphorically arm our listeners with thoughts,” Weichert explains. The idea is to help people see war for what it truly is: destruction unleashed by despots, with no real winners. War is uncontrollable by nature—and will always end up consuming even those who think they command it. “But we also wanted to explore the ambiguities in how war is understood philosophically,” Weichert adds. “To put it simply: that billion-dollar arms companies are getting rich again, because at this stage in human development, militarization seems to be the only way left to maintain peace.”

“Heimat” = German for “home / homeland / native land” – a term that merely refers to a relationship between people and spaces but has nevertheless always been highly emotionally charged. Often misused, it sometimes causes discomfort, lively discussions and battles over interpretation. Maik Weichert (guitar) comments: “’Heimat’ is not meant as the narrow-minded end point in the sense it has been used by agitators and populists, but the starting point for observations and perspectives. The album is about a much wider sense of the term ‘Heimat’: the homelands for many different people and also about the spiritual home, something that shapes and determines our thoughts and actions.”
HEAVEN SHALL BURN took their time with the follow-up to “Of Truth And Sacrifice”, which reached number 1 in the Official German Album Charts in 2020. “Heimat” was produced at the band’s own studio, The Dude Ranch, which is run by guitarist Alexander Dietz. Like in the past, Danish producer Tue Madsen took care of the mixing and mastering.
The Thuringians enlisted the renowned artist Eliran Kantor for the artwork, who previously crafted the artwork for “Of Truth And Sacrifice”. The centrepiece of the impressive triptych is a rearing stag – in its roaring variant a classic motif of wildlife painting, the epitome of kitsch and trivial art from the 19th and 20th centuries and interpreted by some as a symbol of patriarchy and capitalist competition, but here placed as a vital allegory of resistance amid an apocalyptic scene. He is flanked by a hunting lynx and a watchful owl, which complete the highly symbolic artwork concept as further elements of the triptych. As with “Of Truth And Sacrifice”, HEAVEN SHALL BURN worked together with composer, producer and director Sven Helbig and conductor Wilhelm Keitel, this time supported by the Mondëna Quartet and the Ukrainian Sophia Chamber Choir.
The track listing of ”Heimat“ reads as follows:
Ad Arma
War Is The Father Of All
My Revocation Of Compliance

Empowerment
A Whisper From Above
Imminence
Those Left Behind
Ten Days In May
Numbered Days (feat. Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage)
Following their tradition of covering some of their favourite and most influential tracks featuring original members HEAVEN SHALL BURN are releasing “Numbered Days (feat. Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage)”. Check out the visualizer that is accompanying the celebration of the bands’ friendship, below.
Bonus points for anyone catching the title of one of HEAVEN SHALL BURN’s classics in the lyrics.
The band comments: “Killswitch Engage are THE metalcore band! When we heard ‘Numbered Days’ for the very first time, it totally blew us away. It was clear that something new was brewing up. No other band has influenced this style of music more and interpreted it better. Just because the guys have been very good friends for many years doesn’t mean you can’t pay tribute to this great band. We hope the song means as much to you as it does to us!”
Jesse Leach further adds: “All of us are honored by HEAVEN SHALL BURN covering ‘Numbered Days’. That song truly kicked off an album for us that would change our lives. All these years later to have people still resonate with our music means the world to us. Now to have a band like HEAVEN SHALL BURN cover it 23 years later is really wild! Grateful and very stoked to have been a part of the reshaping of this song and to hear someone else’s take on it!” Make sure to catch Killswitch Engage on their upcoming European tour, because “Numbered Days” isn’t the only song from this legendary band that had a lasting impact on modern extreme music.
Another pending question is finally answered: After HEAVEN SHALL BURN had to cancel some shows due to their singer Marcus Bischoff suffering from a severe infection of his vocal chords the band is happy to announce that Britta Görtz from HIRAES will be filling in. “We have a plan!” says Marcus Bischoff. “Britta from HIRAES will fill in for me at the upcoming shows, so tomorrow in Kufstein as well as next weekend! Give her a warm welcome, show her what HSB fans are made of and make the shows something very special in the band’s history! We are really looking forward to it! Things are already looking better for me, too! Your Molle and the HSB guys!” Get well soon and welcome Britta!

HEAVEN SHALL BURN unleash a powerful statement with their new single “Empowerment”, taken from the upcoming album “Heimat” (out June 27, 2025).
A fierce anthem of solidarity and self-determination, the track channels raw emotion into a call for positive change — not just for today, but for the generations to come. The accompanying video, filmed during their recent South American tour by long-time collaborator Giacomo “xjoshx” Giorgi, offers an intimate look at the band on and off stage.
HEAVEN SHALL BURN explain: “Rage is justified — but let it fuel progress, not pointless arguments. If you want to change the world, start with yourself. The ones in power don’t fear those stuck in the past; they fear hopeful people walking forward together, full of bright ideas.”
