With their much-anticipated new album “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder” set to launch Dark Essence Records 2021 releases, ENDEZZMA have today released a single and a new video from the album, giving fans both an audio, and visual taste of what they can expect from the Norwegian Black Metallers.

The single, titled “Anomalious Abomination” can be streamed or downloaded at this location.

About the video the band had this to say:

“Anomalious Abomination” is the first video from The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder’s dark infernal paradise. The music and track itself,  as well the visuals of the video,  is a rabid, fierce and infernal bestial “kick off” to the Archers mythical universe of perseverance, liberation and progress. This video is the first in a trinity of collaborations with the brilliant, artistic and Mephistophelic video director Guilherme Henriques,  and his way of working out the inner energy of the band. Let’s open the doors:

The law of the house celebrates death
The law of the house celebrates wild flesh on fire
Follow the archer’s arrow
Through the haze and the heart of your desire

Recorded at the Vika Studio and the Malpherno Studio in Norway, “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder”, was mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm.  With cover painting by Stefan Todorovic/Kahos Diktator Design, tracklisting for “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder” is as follows:

  1. The Awakening
  2. The Name of the Night is a Strong Tower
  3. Anomalious Abomination
  4. The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder
  5. Formless and Void
  6. Garden ov Heathen
  7. Wild Glorior Death
  8. Open Your Eyes and Stab the Sight
  9. Arrows of Equilibrium
  10. Closure

“The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder” will be available in Digipak CD and LP formats, with an A2 poster included with the vinyl version, and is now available to pre-order from the following:

Formed in 2006 by frontman M. Shax,  ENDEZZMA’s  current lineup, includes M. Malphas on guitars, Nihil on Rythm Guitar,  Skriu on  Drums and Aske on bass, forming a cohesive group of musicians who together demonstrate a  brand of brutal, fiercely intense, and yet aesthetically mystical approach to their music.   With their third full-length album ENDEZZMA have taken a huge step forward in their song writing, and produced an album that bridges the gap between dark anthems and primitive aggression.

BELPHEGOR have re-released their 2000’s album “Necrodaemon Terrorsathan”, out now via Nuclear Blast. Twenty years after its first appearance the third studio album of the European black death metal force comes to new life as remastered version – available as CD and LP.

Helmuth states: “It’s great to re-release this offering after twenty years. The demons get what they deserve, and many have asked throughout the years. The album holds the flag high in the form of a raw atmosphere for blasphemous Black Death Metal.“

BELPHEGOR´s “Necrodaemon Terrorsathan” [2000] album has been remastered with original booklet available on jewel case CD and Gatefold LP formats. Helmuth and Sigurd [former axeman 1993-2006] composed the album 1998-2000.

Session drums were handled by Manfred “Man” Gandler, and Bass by Mario Klausner. “Necrodaemon Terrorsathan” was recorded in early 2000 with producer Boban Milunovic in Wels/ Austria.

Earlier, the band shared this sinister resurrection with a stunning music video for their re-recorded version of the title track “Necrodaemon Terrorsathan” [available as digital single only]. Check out the video here:

BLIND GUARDIAN Reveal “Bright Eyes” Live Video

BLIND GUARDIAN will release the special 25th anniversary edition of their “Imaginations From The Other Side” album on December 11th. This edition will contain live recordings and other special versions of the BLIND GUARDIAN classics featured on the album.

“A brilliant album celebrates its 25th anniversary and it is great to celebrate this in such a bombastic manner. Luckily we filmed our 2016 show in Oberhausen when we performed the entire album live. This is the perfect moment for us to present this masterpiece in so many different ways. An ideal resurrection of precious memories long gone, but not forgotten. This album is made for eternity… I hope. Enjoy”, says vocalist Hansi Kürsch.

Today, BLIND GUARDIAN reveal a live clip for their classic “Bright Eyes”.

Get it here: http://nblast.de/BG-Imaginations25-DSP

Hansi Kürsch comments: “Bright Eyes” is a godsend. The piece was composed during an unexpected forced break in production. When we were able to continue recording the album, André and I were not entirely happy with the composition, but luckily Marcus and Thomen had recognised the song’s potential straight away, so it landed in its raw form on the album without any further intervention on our part. We put it on the album and then it surprisingly turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of the record, or perhaps even our entire career. I have no idea, nowadays, what we did not like back then. The songwriting for „Imaginations…“ was long finished and we were already recording the album, when André got severe problems with his fingers and had to undertake a critical surgery, which as we know now, was fortunately successful. “Bright Eyes” is without any doubt one of the band’s and the audience’s favourite songs, especially when it comes to live shows. One of the ultimate singalongs and therefore one of the absolute highlights in a Blind Guardian concert. Check it out.”

KILLER BE KILLED, who release one of the year’s most anticipated rock records, “Reluctant Hero”, on Nov. 20 via Nuclear Blast Records, have debuted a third single from the eagerly-awaited collection: ‘Inner Calm From Outer Storms’.

“‘Inner Calm From Outer Storms’ is about having the ability to sense a distant or unseen target,” explains Troy Sanders. “It explores a journey of reckless abandon where the destination may, or may not, actually exist.”

Greg Puciato agrees, saying the lyrics reference “the idea of being open to the freedom of having chaos be a state of existence.”

The song debuted this Thursday via Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal hosted by Jose Mangin.

KILLER BE KILLED previously released two singles from the forthcoming album:
‘Dream Gone Bad’: https://youtu.be/dMFgUWPvqsU

WITHERFALL Release First Song “The Last Scar” From Upcoming Album, Reveal “Curse Of Autumn” Coverart

What could possibly be a better time of the year to dive headfirst into dark and progressive melodic metal? While the shadows of winter are creeping up upon us and the nights get longer it is the perfect time for “Curse Of Autumn”, the upcoming album from L.A.’s finest WITHERFALL that is scheduled for a release in March 2021.

The album art is once again another hand painted masterpiece by the legendary Kristian Wåhlin, the fourth painting in the WITHERFALL series.

Watch a visualizer clip to see the art in its full glory while listening to the first song, “The Last Scar”:

WITHERFALL comments: “This is a nice a happy one… heavily inspired by an evening on tour in the Czech Republic. Quite possibly one of the most aggressive WITHERFALL songs and certainly a test of stamina for instrumentalists and voices. During the recording Our producer Jon Schaffer really put us to the test on getting these final takes. Both WITHERFALL and our team at Century Media felt this song would be the perfect way to introduce our latest offspring ‘Curse of Autumn’. Like any other WITHERFALL record this one is quite the storm. This is but the first gust of wind…”
