Cinematic symphonic metal collective CATALYST CRIME open a powerful new chapter with the release of their new single “Acquired Immunity”, out now on all digital platforms via Massacre Records. At the same time, the band proudly announce that their upcoming full-length album will be released on October 2, 2026.

Following the deeply personal and emotionally charged first single “Cursebreaker”, which paid tribute to a real-life resistance heroine behind the Iron Curtain, “Acquired Immunity” reveals a heavier, more aggressive and genre-bending side of CATALYST CRIME’s evolving sound.

Driven by the complementary compositional forces of guitarist Kaelen Sarakinis and keyboardist Jonah Weingarten, “Acquired Immunity” stands as one of the band’s most intense and hard-hitting tracks to date.

Blistering melodeath-infused verses collide with cinematic orchestration and soaring vocal lines, while the scorching guest guitar solo by Marek “Ashok” Šmerda (ex-Cradle of Filth, ex-Root) elevates the track into epic territory.

Frontwoman Zoe Marie Federoff describes the song as a turning point for the band’s sound – a bold step into deeper complexity while fully embracing their identity as cinematic metal.

With the album set for release on October 2, 2026 CATALYST CRIME promise a record that expands upon the emotional storytelling of “Cursebreaker” and the aggressive edge of “Acquired Immunity”, blending orchestral grandeur, metallic precision and fearless experimentation into their most ambitious work to date.

In support of the new material, CATALYST CRIME will join symphonic metal icons Leaves’ Eyes on a European run started on March 5th in Dordrecht, see the remaining shows below:

BESEECH Return with New Single Video ‘Boundless Space’ from Upcoming Album

Beseech unveils their new single Boundless Space from their upcoming new album, to be released later this year.

Order the single here: https://found.ee/Boundlessspace – watch the video below.

Emerging from Borås, Sweden in the early 1990s, Beseech has earned a devoted following as one of Scandinavia’s most evocative gothic metal bands. Blending dark romanticism, doomy atmospheres, and unforgettable melodies, Beseech built a reputation for haunting yet accessible music that resonates with fans of gothic, doom, and melodic metal alike.

The band’s journey began with their 1995 demo Tears, leading to their critically acclaimed debut album …From a Bleeding Heart (1998). They continued to develop their signature sound with Black Emotions (2000) and the beloved Souls Highway (2002), which featured the iconic vocal interplay of Erik Molarin and Lotta Höglin — a duo whose contrasting voices became a defining element of Beseech’s identity.
The band’s evolution continued with Drama (2004) and Sunless Days (2005), expanding their sonic palette while maintaining the melancholic beauty fans had come to love.

After years of touring and recording, Beseech disbanded in 2006, leaving behind a legacy of timeless gothic anthems. A decade later, the silence was broken with My Darkness, Darkness (2016) — a powerful testament to the band’s enduring spirit and their ability to craft new stories from the shadows.
Now, Beseech rises once more, bringing back Erik and Lotta — the most iconic vocal pairing in the band’s history. Their reunion signals a return to the lush harmonies and dark atmospheres that fans remember, while pushing Beseech’s sound into new, uncharted territory. From mournful ballads to heavy, brooding riffs, Beseech continues to walk the twilight path between beauty and despair.

About their new single the band had this to say:

“‘Boundless Space’ marks a very special moment for us — it’s the return of the vocal duo Erik and Lotta after more than a decade apart. When we started writing again, it felt natural to reconnect with the dark, atmospheric foundation that defines our sound, but we also wanted to bring a renewed energy into it. The song combines heavy, driving guitars with an almost uplifting momentum, while still carrying that melancholic and shadowed core that has always been part of who we are.”

Their new album is to be released later this year via Despotz Records.

Denmark’s finest AOR export, Boys From Heaven, are pleased to share their new single and official visualizer, “How Long”, taken from the upcoming third studio album, “The Wanderer”, set for release on May 22, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band stated: “How Long” represents a personal tale of love and loss. At its core, it’s a story about putting your faith in someone who ultimately lets you down. If memory serves, it’s the second song we wrote for “The Wanderer” (“I’ll Wait” being the first). Like its predecessor “I’ll Wait”, the tone of “How Long” is a tad more serious and heavier compared to a few other tracks on the upcoming album. Toto’s “Isolation” and “The Seventh One” have undoubtedly served as sources of inspiration”.

Pre-Order “The Wanderer” HERE

“The Wanderer” marks a significant milestone for Boys From Heaven, as their debut release for Frontiers Music. Known for their unique blend of 80s rock nostalgia and fresh, forward-thinking songwriting, the band continues to carve out their own niche – one that evokes the timeless class of Toto, the smooth sophistication of the L.A. soft rock scene, and their own Scandinavian melodic sensibility.

Produced by frontman Chris Catton together with the band, and mixed and mastered by genre heavyweight Erik Martensson (Eclipse, W.E.T.), this new chapter sees Boys From Heaven refining their sound to its purest form.

The result is an album that shines with lush, almost luxurious arrangements, velvety layers of keys and sax, pristine harmonies, and melodies that stay with you long after the music stops.

The band stated: “Recording the last record ourselves and having Erik Martensson take care of mixing and mastering was a winning combination, so we had no doubt that we wanted to do the same thing with “The Wanderer”.

“With the new album we’ve leaned even harder into that 1980’s synthesizer-driven power rock sound, and our fans can definitely look forward to an album which is high-energy right from the first chord is struck, all the way to when the last note has rung out”, they added. “We can’t wait to share it with you all!”

With special guest contributions from Lucas Szczyrbak (bass) and Michael Catton (background vocals), the album is a true ensemble effort, executed with taste, precision, and emotion. From the first track to the last, the band demonstrates their deep respect for the genre’s legacy while injecting it with rich textures, impeccable songwriting, and a clarity of vision that’s rare in modern melodic rock.

Warm yet vibrant, technical yet deeply human, this album confirms that Boys From Heaven are not just students of AOR – they’re master craftsmen.

WARSENAL Unleash New Single & Official Video ‘Mass Grave Mass’, Spring Tour Kicks Off on March 27th

Canadian speed/thrash metal trio WARSENAL strike with full force through their new single and official music video “Mass Grave Mass”, taken from the upcoming studio album “Endless Beginnings…”, to be released on April 10th, 2026 via Massacre Records.

Opening the album with relentless intensity, “Mass Grave Mass” immediately sets the tone for the band’s most ambitious and fully realized work to date. The track is a sharp and uncompromising statement – lyrically and musically – showcasing WARSENAL’s trademark riff mania, high-speed precision and razor-sharp aggression.

Lyrically, the song tackles the absurdity of religion and the paradox of dedicating one’s entire life to preparing for death. It’s a fierce critique wrapped in speed-driven fury, perfectly fitting the dystopian conceptual framework of “Endless Beginnings…”.

Musically, “Mass Grave Mass” blends classic speed metal urgency with subtle black metal undertones – an explosive mix that channels old-school intensity while sounding sharper and deadlier than ever.

Stream the song here: https://save-it.cc/massacre/mass-grave-mass

“Endless Beginnings…” pushes WARSENAL’s signature riff mania, speed and controlled chaos to new heights, while introducing a layered conceptual universe. The album depicts a dystopian world ruled by an elite society called the Dawn Mowers, who live above the masses in a floating city – the Flying Fortress – casting the planet below into perpetual darkness. Through the ministries of religion, addiction, labor and false hope, a cycle of numb servitude repeats endlessly.

Musically, the album is fiercely diverse and meticulously crafted – a quantum leap for the band in composition, precision and storytelling. It also marks the first studio appearance of drummer Zack Osiris, whose performance injects new levels of aggression and tightness into the Warsenal sound.

The album was produced by Mathieu Rondeau together with Ryan Battistuzzi, and later mixed and mastered by Olof Wikstrand at Hvergelmer Studios, while the striking cover artwork was created by Justin Cournoyer (4CII).

Norway’s AGABAS Honour Black Sabbath on Sax-Attack Deathjazz Version of ‘The Wizard’

The ferocious union of Death Metal and Jazz has found its way into existence in the shape of the Norwegian six-piece band, Agabas. On the day they release Hard Anger (Deluxe Edition), via Mascot Records they pay homage to Black Sabbath on the wild reworking of ‘The Wizard.’

Talking about the song the Trondheimo/Oslo based band say, “Wanting to honour the life and work of Ozzy, we decided it was time to do a Black Sabbath cover. We chose The Wizard because a) it slaps, and b) the harmonica melody presented the perfect opportunity for sax rippage. This cover was not recorded as part of the Hard Anger sessions, it was done a couple of months after Ozzy’s passing, but the sound we’ve gone for is very much a continuation of the Hard Anger sound, so the deluxe version presents the perfect opportunity to show yet a different side of us.”

The band are partway through a European tour with Avatar, giving them a real taste of the bigger stages — something they first experienced while touring with Kvelertak.

The sound is uncompromising. Mercilessly downtuned breakdowns collide with savage, unrelenting saxophone lines that refuse to play a supporting role. The influence of Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Gojira is unmistakable, but so too is the freeform intensity of John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, and Miles Davis.— something distinctive, unruly, and entirely its own.

That depth is no accident. Between them – Sondre Sørensen Brønstad (Vocals), Oskar Myrseth (Guitar), Jarand Aga Baas (Guitar), Johan Jamtfall Eriksen (Bass), Alexander Dellerhagen (Saxophone) and Bjørn André Syverinsen (Drums) – hold jazz performance master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees in music technology and musicology, and an academic seriousness that underpins the chaos. Singer Brønstad even wrote his master’s thesis on the history and cultural impact of mosh pits. These are musicians who understand both the tradition they draw from and the rules they are breaking.

Themes of war and humanity coil themselves around their new album. The deluxe edition single ‘KILL’ explores a near-future dystopia where artificial intelligence erodes truth itself. The title comes from the Norwegian phrase Kunstig Intelligens Lager Liv (“Artificial Intelligence Creates Life”), forming an acronym KILL that feels both prophetic and unsettling.

Far from the blood-and-thunder chaos you might expect, Agabas delivers a flamboyant, cathartic, and overwhelming live experience—intense, loud, and immersive—where the saxophone reigns and bodies collide. They carve out humanity’s horrors on the album. ‘Jævla menneske’ translates as ‘Damn Human’ and features Jørgen Munkeby of Norwegian experimental metallers, Shining.  “‘La Blodet Flomme’ dismantles the nonsensical logic behind conflict. “Are war crimes punished, or is it only genocide if you lose?” asks Brønstad.

But, above all, Agabas are intent on building community. Inclusivity is foregrounded at their shows and embedded in ‘Arv.’ “Join Agabas and help us create our legacy together,” vocalist Brønstad urges. “We stand together, against injustice.”

Guitarist Myrseth ponders their unique deathjazz sound, “We noticed intense, hard-hitting moments in jazz, like Coltrane in the ’60s, and thought, why not combine that with the heaviness of Meshuggah to create a new kind of hard?”

Deathjazz is an unfamiliar hunger, and Agabas feeds it to you until your body dissolves into rhythm and your heart freezes, perfectly reshaped by the curve of a saxophone.
