MYSTIC CIRCLE Celebrate Release of New Studio Album “Hexenbrand 1486” with Lyric Video for ‘Institoris / Zeugnis Der Verachtung’

Last Friday, on October 31st, black metal duo MYSTIC CIRCLE dropped their brand-new album “Hexenbrand 1486” through ROAR – A Division Of Reigning Phoenix Music, a blazing descent into the dark heart of history, witch hunts, and occult terror. To celebrate their new studio offering in style, today, the band reveals a lyric video for the tracks “Institoris (Heinrich Kramer) / Zeugnis Der Verachtung”, serving as the prologue and epilogue to their Heinrich Kramer Trilogy. This brutal double-feature dives deep into the twisted legacy of the infamous inquisitor and the flames of persecution he ignited.

Since the unholy reunion between the two MYSTIC CIRCLE founders A. Blackwar and Beelzebub in 2021, the Germanic black metal wargods are stronger than ever. What began anew in 2022 with the self-titled “Mystic Circle” album and was rewarded with a sensational #78 place in the German album charts, was continued the following year with “Erzdämon” and now completed with “Hexenbrand 1486”.

“Hexenbrand 1486”, produced with Nils Lesser, is largely about the ‘Malleus Maleficarum’, the hammer of witches, which was written in Speyer/Germany in the year 1486. “We are lucky to live near well-known events and dark legends. Our Nibelungen cult “Drachenblut” comes from our region, as does the concept in the second part of the new record about Heinrich “Institoris” Kramer, the author of the Hexenhammer,” A. Blackwar explains.

“Heinrich Kramer embodies everything we hate about the holy institution of the church,” Beelzebub reveals. “He was a vile sadist who acted out his resentment towards women under the cloak of Christian scripture. The Hexenhammer is the work of a madman and should encourage everyone even more to leave the church and follow their own path of faith.”

“Hexenbrand 1486” is out now and available on CD and Vinyl (both featuring a comic!) as well as in Digital formats. Order your favorite choice of format at: https://mysticcircle.rpm.link/hexenbrandPR

Album Track Listing:

  1. Luciferian
  2. The Scarlet Queen Of Harlots
  3. Boogeyman
  4. In The Sign Of The Goat
  5. Ghost Of Whitechapel
  6. Institoris (Heinrich Kramer)
  7. The Bible Of Witch Chase
  8. Blutschande Unzucht Sodomie
  9. Dance On The Wings Of Black Magic
  10. Zeugnis Der Verachtung (Outro)
[Artwork: Rafael Taveres]

MYSTIC CIRCLE sound unmistakable, their trademarks are manifold and their hunger seems almost insatiable. What the duo has created in recent years is unparalleled and continues the legacy that the band created in the nineties with their classics “Drachenblut” (1998) and “Infernal Satanic Verses” (1999). MYSTIC CIRCLE themselves describe their style as melodic extreme metal, their very own mix of old-school death and black metal, traditional heavy metal of the eighties and horror soundtracks.

The horror flair of the 80s already played a major role in the duo’s style on “Mystic Circle” and “Erzdämon”. On “Hexenbrand 1486” they consistently go one step further and add dark synth wave passages in appropriate places, with a comparable flair to legendary horror shockers and soundtracks by Dario Argento, who used synthesizers in his very own way.

In keeping with the theme of witches, three women are represented on “Hexenbrand 1486”: The two singers Sarah Jezebel Deva (ex-CRADLE OF FILTH, THE KOVENANT) and Karo Hafke (UMBRA ET IMAGO, GIANTS CAUSAWAY) as well as Natalie Ostermaier, the author and illustrator of the book “Kramer”, from which the accompanying comic is taken, that is integrated in the CD booklet and comes with the vinyl first edition as a 12-page A5 comic.

“Sarah has once again taken on the classic part. This time it’s different with Karo. She carries the album with her voice and embodies the countless women who were burned and tortured because of sick fantasies back then. She gives the new album a special stamp. Natalie Ostermaier and her book “Kramer” came into play through the concept. She liked the idea of using an excerpt from her book for our album, and so what had to come together came together.”

MYSTIC CIRCLE Album Signing Session:
06.11.2025 Yeah Records – Essen (DE)

MYSTIC CIRCLE is:
Beelzebub – Vocals, Gitarre, Bass, Keyboards

CONQUER DIVIDE Unveil New Single And Lyric Video ‘The Ocean Between Us’

“‘The Ocean Between Us’ is about being set on one life path, going through the motions until something or someone stops you in your tracks,” the band says. “It’s about seeing an alternate version of your life and wondering what if. What if you took the leap and started over somewhere far away, with someone new?”

The song expands upon Conquer Divide’s heavy sound, balancing melancholy and euphoria over an expansive ambient rock soundscape. The ending offers no resolution, leaving the listener unclear on whether they should escape the unfamiliar or immerse themselves in it. Knowing that either path would change reality forever, they feel they can do neither, but they must choose one. Listen and watch the video here.

The track follows “Bad Dreams,” featuring Michigan metalcore band Of Virtue, which arrived at the top of the year. Watch the lyric video here.

Conquer Divide is currently at work on their next album, set for release in 2026. They’re already confirmed for ShipRocked (as ‘Stowaways’) and Sonic Temple, with 2026 shaping up to be a busy one.

Since forming a decade ago, Conquer Divide has evolved from their melodic metalcore-inspired roots into a powerhouse hard rock act. In 2020, they returned to the studio with 2x Grammy nominated producer Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, I Prevail) and 4x RIAA certified Gold record producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) and began recording their most recent album Slow Burn.

To date, the album has notched 52 million worldwide streams to date, while “Paralyzed” was one of the Metal Hammer 2023 tracks of the year. They’ve picked up support from Rock Sound, Distorted Sound, Alternative Press, Revolver, GuitarWorld, SXM Octane, Loudwire, and more. The band has toured with 10 Years, The Warning, New Years Day, Ankor, Electric Callboy, Funeral For a Friend, among others. Conquer Divide have also released collaborative tracks with Electric Callboy, 10 Years, and Of Virtue.

With “The Ocean Between Us,” Conquer Divide proves once again that there’s no ceiling to what they can achieve—and 2026 is set to be their biggest year yet.

Alternative metal band ODC are thrilled to announce that their new album “Twisted Love” is out now via BLKIIBLK.

The French rockers are also pleased to share the focus track, “The Beauty Of The Beast”, with an official visualizer, available now.

The band commented: “We all have a beast within. The moment you stop fighting it and start owning it – that’s when you become truly free”.

Order “Twisted Love” HERE

With its polished production and fearless genre-blending, “Twisted Love” brings ODC’s bold vision of modern alternative metal to life. The band’s motto, “Forget rules, forget boxes”, perfectly sums up this hybrid and liberated debut.

Commenting on the album, the band stated: “With “Twisted Love”, we wanted to show that metal can be both powerful and elegant – emotional, modern, and unafraid to break the rules. This album is about pushing boundaries by blending genres and influences while staying true to who we are: delivering heavy music that moves both body and soul”.

“Lyrically, “Twisted Love” explores the breaking points of human connection but also carries a message of hope: accepting our shadows to heal and rebuild. It’s for anyone drawn to heavy music that refuses to fit into categories”
, they continued.

“Twisted Love” Tracklist:

1.    My Only Fan (Feat. SUN)
2.    Love, I Tore It Apart
3.    Twisted Love
4.    Follower (Feat. SUN)
5.    The Beauty Of The Beast
6.    My Name Is Gold
7.    I Need To Breathe
8.    If I’d Tried
9.    Raise Your Hands Up
10.    Despechá (Rosalía Cover)

ODC is the soundtrack of a hybrid generation. A sonic uppercut, balancing raw power and elegance.

Born in Paris in 2017, ODC is the result of two worlds coming together: the world of Celia Do, a vocalist with a striking identity, and that of a composer driven by the same fire – the desire to create an alternative metal project that breaks free from conventions: bold, modern, and uncompromising. From this spark, a true sonic and visual odyssey emerged.

ODC – named after Celia’s stage name acronym – became a totally creative space, where heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and contemporary electronic textures collide in a unique blend of raw energy and polished aesthetic. ODC is a bold blend of metal, modern rock and immersive electronic atmospheres.

Inspired by artists such as Devin Townsend, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park and BMTH, ODC doesn’t fit in any box. The band asserts its own voice — powerful, hybrid, sharp and emotional.
Their songs are modern mantras, telling stories of freedom, downfall, and resilience. Music that hits hard — and hits deep. A constant dialogue between introspection and explosion.

The band is built around four distinct artistic personalities: Celia Do (lead singer, founder and producer, the rock frontwoman of the band), Sonny, a.k.a. MX MNK (a bassist with roots in hardcore and black metal, and a rapper with visceral energy). Then, Raphaël (an 8-string guitarist blending classic rock, hard rock, and atmospheric textures), and Hector (a drummer forged in the death metal scene, delivering explosive rhythmic power).

After a well-received debut EP in 2019 (“Ending The Boredom”), ODC carved their path through a series of powerful singles between 2020 and 2023, asserting their hybrid identity and ability to break genre boundaries. In 2024, the project took a major leap forward: writing their first full-length album, produced in Nashville by Kellen McGregor (Memphis May Fire).

Acclaimed progressive metal pioneers SAVATAGE today announced their highly anticipated “Prelude To Madness” Tour, featuring nine headline performances and multiple festival appearances across Europe in summer 2026. The tour kicks off July 19 in Istanbul, Turkey, marking the band’s continued triumphant return to the stage, following their successful 2025 European comeback after a nearly two-decade hiatus. Armored Saint, Vision Divine, and Nevermore will join Savatage on select dates. The band is looking forward to a lot of firsts on this tour. In addition to cities the band has never played before, Savatage is doing a show at the historic setting of the famous Amphitheater of Pompeii, where they will perform alongside an orchestra for one unforgettable evening.

Fans can go to Savatage.com now to sign up for pre-sales beginning November 4th and tickets on sale to the general public beginning Friday, November 7th.

The 2026 tour promises to deliver an explosive setlist spanning the band’s catalog of classic anthems and deep cuts, reinforcing Savatage’s dedication to their legendary fanbase known as “The Legion.” Fans can expect the raw energy and musical craftsmanship that have been intensifying during the band’s transformative decade away from touring.

Singer, Zak Stevens, stated: “After last year’s amazing tours of South America and Europe, I’m VERY excited for the Savatage 2026 headline shows in Europe. This run is going to be awesome. This will be the first time Savatage has ever played in Istanbul, Bucharest, Este (Italy), Warsaw, and Leipzig (Germany). We’ve got nine headline shows lined up so far, along with a number of festivals. We are excited to see our old friends Armored Saint, Vision Divine, and Nevermore as special guests. I can’t wait to see everyone out there getting loud and celebrating the music with us.”

Savatage’s journey began in Tampa, Florida, founded by brothers Jon and Criss Oliva. Their story is one of both triumph and tragedy, marked by groundbreaking albums including the seminal 1987 release “Hall of the Mountain King” and the critically acclaimed 1991 rock opera “Streets,” both of which continue to resonate with fans worldwide. Following the untimely death of guitarist Criss Oliva after the success of 1993’s “Edge of Thorns,” the band persevered with renewed purpose, culminating in their transformative 1995 album “Dead Winter Dead.”

Throughout their four-decade career, Savatage have cultivated one of metal’s most passionate cult followings. During their nearly 20-year hiatus from touring, devoted fans continuously campaigned for the band’s return. Their electrifying reunion performance at Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival in 2015 captivated 80,000 fans and reaffirmed both Savatage’s legendary status and their audience’s unwavering devotion.

Building on the momentum from their 2015 Wacken triumph, Savatage made international headlines in 2025 with their first headline shows since 2002. The European dates successfully reunited multiple generations of “The Legion” – longtime devotees experiencing long-awaited performances alongside newcomers discovering the band’s power for the first time.

The 2026 “Prelude To Madness” Tour will feature Savatage’s current powerhouse lineup: vocalist Zak Stevens, guitarists Al Pitrelli and Chris Caffery, bassist Johnny Lee Middleton, and drummer Jeff Plate.

THUNDER RISING Release New Lyric Video ‘Master of Destiny’

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: THUNDER RISING. Leave a comment

Rising heavy metal force Thunder Rising have officially unleashed the first blistering track from their anticipated new album, Horizon Line, in the form of the lyric video, “Master of Destiny.” This isn’t just a song, it’s a declaration, a mandatory, riff-driven anthem that promises to shatter your speakers and rewind the clock to the golden age of hard rock and metal, all while sounding powerfully modern.

Thunder Rising blends modern tones with vintage-style songwriting, defining their signature “Real Vintage” sound. Drawing on experience from the late ’70s and ’80s with Italian bands Firehouse and Arachnes, the new album channels riffs reminiscent of Deep Purple and Rainbow, while embracing the melodic sensibilities of Journey and Boston.

Using classic gear—Hammond organs, Fender guitars, Marshall amps—alongside modern instruments and recording techniques, the result is a sound that’s both powerfully vintage and crystal clear. Solid song structures, guitar virtuosity, and standout vocals take listeners on a journey of exploration and emotion—a metaphorical road trip through music and memory.

Danish metallers Defecto are pleased to announce the release of their new studio album, “Echoes Of Isolation”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

The focus track, “Eclipsed By The Void”, along with an official lyric video, are also available now.

Nicklas Sonne commented: “Eclipsed By The Void captures the endless loop of trauma – the flashbacks, the noise, the weight that refuses to fade. It’s about the war that continues long after the battle is over.”

Order “Echoes Of Isolation” HERE

Defecto is a Copenhagen-based metal band formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Nicklas Sonne, guitarist Frederik Møller, and bassist Thomas Bartholin.

Known for their combination of technical precision, melodic strength, and emotional intensity, the band has become one of the most respected names in the modern Danish metal scene.

Now, Frontiers Records proudly presents “Echoes Of Isolation”, the band’s most personal, intense, and introspective record yet – a concept album exploring the haunting landscape of mental illness and psychological struggles.

Nicklas Sonne stated: “Each song inhabits a different psychological struggle – insomnia, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, paranoia, dissociation, trauma – giving voice to the war within. This isn’t just a metal album. It’s a mirror held to the mind”.

“For us, it’s about turning pain into power, and creating something that can connect deeply with anyone who has ever felt broken, isolated, or misunderstood”
, he added.

Fans of Metallica, Symphony X or Evergrey will be captivated by the album’s cinematic power and progressive depth, driven by Sonne’s compelling vocals and razor-sharp songwriting.
