KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD BAND will release their new album ‘Straight To You: Live’ on November 27th, via Provogue Records.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd:
“Diamonds & Gold is one of my favorite songs from our 2017 release “Lay It On Down”. To me it has all the right elements. A thick groove, hooky guitar riffs and chorus, the horns… everything comes together to create a song that makes you feel good with a bit of humor in the lyrics.”

The calls have been coming for a long time explains Shepherd. “People have been asking us to do a live DVD forever, for decades,” he explains. “We’ve been working so much focussing on studio recordings. But I’ve been hearing the call from the fans for many years now,” and, as live music has come to a standstill, the band wanted to give the fans a taste once again of that experience and this blistering set shows them in full force.

Their only other live output, the ’Live! In Chicago’ album was released a decade ago and got itself a Grammy nomination along the way, but this time around for 2020, you get to watch the band in its full glory as well as listen. In the last 10 years the multi-platinum selling Shepherd has gone from strength to strength, winning countless awards, releasing four studio albums and touring the world over several times – from Brazil to Europe, India to Canada and US to Australia and beyond.

The seven-piece band took the stage and immediately launched into their most-recent hit-single ‘Woman Like You,’ with the honey-soaked powerhouse voice of Noah Hunt blasting “I ain’t looking for a one time girl” backed by the fiery fretwork of Shepherd. It’s the first of four songs taken from the latest studio album, “‘Woman Like You’ is the perfect opening song for the show,“ Shepherd says. “You come out swinging, it sets the mood for the entire show. It’s like, we’re there to rock, and we mean business.”

“The whole intention of this set-list is that we come out with a lot of energy, get the crowd pumped up. We want to get them energised right off the bat.” It slips into the soul-drenched blues of ‘Long Time Running,’ with Chris Layton’s drums firing through the building horn section as Hunt and Shepherd lock-in on duel vocals, whilst blue and yellow lights spray the stage, catapulting you right to the front row of the audience.

NATURAL BORN MACHINE is a new international melodic heavy rock band founded in 2019 by bassist & composer Alberto Rigoni (solo, BAD As, Vivaldi Metal Project, etc.) – feat. PINK CREAM 69 singer David Readman, guitarist Alessio Lex Tricarico (BAD AS) and drummer Denis “Denzy” Novello (Ardityon).

The band has announced their debut album “Human” is set to be released by Pride & Joy Music on February 19th, 2021.

The album was recorded and mixed at AR Studio in Treviso, Italy and mixed and mastered by Alberto Rigoni. A lyric video for the track “New Future” and a full video for “Moonchild” will be released upfront to the album; both tracks will be available as singles and instant grats as well. The artwork was designed by Andreas Ballnus (Disorderly Design).

Italian Technical Death Metal force HIDEOUS DIVINITY release a bass playthrough video for the track “Deleuzean Centuries”, taken off of their current album “SIMULACRUM”, which got released in 2019. Check out the video here:

Stefano Franceschini comments: “’Deleuzean Centuries’ is the perfect trait d’union track between ‘Adveniens’ and ‘Simulacrum’ – straightforward, indirectly quoting some rhythmic shapes that were fairly recurring in our previous album, especially the very first section of the song; I would refer to it as the intro riff, before the second, main riff kicks in. Bass-wise I particularly like the arpeggio section (the 3/4 + 6/4 triplet one) which repeats 4 times, and the slap chops I do toward the end of the song. It’s probably one of my top 3 tracks from our last album, and a perfect opener for a show.”

Blackened Gothic Doom act, Shores Of Null, who is set to release their new album “Beyond The Shores (On Death And Dying)” – one single 38-minute-long track! – on November 27th via Spikerot Records, have just unleashed another killer excerpt taken from their upcoming magnum opus! The album features high class guest musicians (Mikko Kotamäki / Swallow The Sun and Thomas A.G. Jensen / Saturnus), and takes the listener on a journey through the process of grieving, which is inspired by the five stages of grief formulated by Swiss-American psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. “Beyond the Shores (Excerpt II)” showcases the pain, horror, and feelings of despair a person goes through while musically bringing a darkened sound, which enhances the feelings of loss.

Says the band:”Our new work consists of a single 38-minute-long track and can be considered as a sort of digression from our music production. It stems from the need to delve more into the darkest side of our sound, experimenting new solutions yet remaining faithful to our musical identity. London hardcore six-piece IRONED OUT have released ‘Pagans’, their new single / video taken from new album, We Move As One, out now via GSR Music.

‘Pagans’ is an aggressive retaliation to the rise of the far right in the UK, and the band have no issue with taking the law into their own hands if need be. To quote the lyrics: “Believe we’ll roll deep on every Nazi, we’re straight busting beaks. F*ck up them mans peace”.

This follows the singles ‘Pavement Strong’ and ‘Ain’t Raw’.

Following the success of breakthrough release Us & Them and the highly acclaimed In These Ends, IRONED OUT once again prove that they are one of the UK’s most vital forces in heavy music with new album We Move As One.

Featuring 12 tracks of IRONED OUT‘s signature mix of UKHC, grime and metal, the band continue to push the boundaries of heavy music and are showing no sign of slowing.
