“This Night” is the first single and video from ADVOCACY‘s upcoming album – an intense journey into the night where hope fades, fear looms, and the struggle against overwhelming crisis becomes inevitable. The lyrics reflect the current age of polarization, insecurity, and war, shifting between resignation and defiance.
Guest vocalist Anders Sinding (Avarice) delivers a raw and visceral counterpoint, while production and mixing by Frederik Uglebjerg (who also worked on the band’s acclaimed debut “The Path of Decoherence”) provide a razor-sharp sonic framework. A visually striking music video, directed by Casper Silber, completes the release, capturing the full spectrum of Advocacy’s expression – from melancholy to extreme intensity.

Andorran progressive death metal masters PERSEFONE let their material shine in a new light on their upcoming live album, Live in Andorra, out December 5, 2025, via Napalm Records. Recorded at a one-off orchestral show in the National Auditorium of their home country Andorra in May 2024, the six-piece band take their already sophisticated sound to even grander heights, celebrating both their 20-year history and their return home after not having performed in Andorra in ten years. In collaboration with the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra (National Classical Orchestra of Andorra), the symphonic accompaniment adds immense grandeur to a catalog-spanning set, embellishing their unmatched live energy to triumphant highs.
With the album announcement also comes the first single: “Living Waves”, originally released on their 2017 album Aathma. The triumphant live rendition showcases the band’s trademark emotional magnificence in full force, with new singer Daniel R. Flys displaying a unique flair, and making the classic track his own. Live in Andorra, after all, offers unique first recordings of many beloved songs with their new frontman, who joined the band in 2023 and now emphasizes the musical force that is PERSEFONE.
PERSEFONE about “Living Waves”: “‘Living Waves’ has to be one of the most important songs in our catalog. At least, that’s what we feel from the crowd every time we perform it live. Maybe it’s because we had the chance to work with Paul Masvidal, one of our biggest inspirations in music. Maybe it’s because of the deep meaning of the lyrics, or just because it has its own particular energy. This performance really makes the song shine, and it was a no-brainer for us to share it with everyone as one of the singles for the release.”
On Live in Andorra, PERSEFONE’s musical force shines brightly out from their native Andorra. A perfect example of how symphonic support can blend seamlessly into metal songs and enhance them, this intricate record gifts the already impressive tracks a whole new context. Progressive, yet catchy; heavy, yet full of emotion—goosebumps are guaranteed!
PERSEFONE about Live In Andorra: “It is not everyday that you can celebrate the history of your band with such a unique set of circumstances. Playing at home after so many years, in front of our people, at the National Hall, with the National Orchestra, was something we never imagined would even be a possibility. But when the opportunity appeared, we just couldn’t say no, and we knew we wanted to have this whole experience immortalized for everyone to take part in it. This show is a way of coming full circle, from a crappy rehearsal room and our first shows in clubs, to being able to perform at such an iconic place in our country. Please join us for this special show. Welcome to PERSEFONE. Welcome to Andorra.”
With 14 songs off their four most recent albums and the latest EP, PERSEFONE show great versatility. Live In Andorra takes listeners on a career spanning journey through a series of album specific vignettes: after starting off with the latest, Lingua Ignota: Part I (2024), the band takes their audience back in time through Aathma (2017) and even reaches all the way to their 2009 album Shin-ken. Then returning to 2022’s metanoia before finally their hit album Spiritual Migration (2013), the Andorran powerhouses garner waves of thunderous applause and howling.
With the intro “Sounds And Vessels” bleeding into “One Word”, both PERSEFONE and the orchestra, led by conductor Albert Gumí and concertmaster Pere Bardagí, show off their strength and mutual enthusiasm right at the start of the show. Performed together, this compilation expands grander than either track was alone, with the pristine clarity of the orchestral sound serving as an awe-inspiring view into what’s to come. The decorated rendition of “Living Waves” is an example of the band’s unique flair and their trademark ability to weld sweeping emotion into jaw-dropping compositions. “Leap Of Faith” deepens the progressive reach of the band, transporting listeners right to the Andorran National Auditorium in Ordino, in which this live rendition was recorded, delivering the spectacular show in vivid color. Other highlights include wonderful contrast between trenchant brutality and symphonic focus on “Stillness Is Timeless”, including an expansive piano outro, which directly moves into “Prison Skin” with a piano intro. On “Kusanagi”, PERSEFONE exemplifies their pristine musical control, taking a step back to grant the orchestra an impressive solo, cleverly sharing the spotlight for a dynamic listening experience.

French doom metal purveyors NORNES are proud to announce the release of their long-awaited debut full-length album, “Thou Hast Done Nothing“, slated for release on November 28, 2025 via Sleeping Church Records. In anticipation of the album, the band has unveiled an evocative album teaser, offering a first glimpse into the grief-laden soundscape that awaits. Watch it here:
Since forming in 2017, NORNES have put the French doom underground on notice with their crushing and melancholic fusion of doom and death metal. From the brooding weight of their 2018 debut EP “Vanity” to the introspective depths of 2020’s “Threads” (Sleeping Church Records), the band has continually evolved while staying true to the sorrowful essence of the genre.
With “Thou Hast Done Nothing“, NORNES take a bold step forward. Recorded at Heldscalla Studio and mastered at Drudenhaus, the album features five sprawling, grief-soaked tracks that delve into existential despair and emotional desolation. It is a slow-burning descent into melancholy, echoing a world teetering on collapse.

Milan-based death metal band ABBINORMAL are set to unleash their long-awaited third album, “Italia’s Gore Talent”, on December 5th, 2025 via Ad Noctem Records. Recorded at the renowned Toxic Basement Studios and completed in March, this new chapter promises to be the band’s most ferocious and unhinged work to date.
Described by the band as “a grotesque and ferocious critique of the spectacle of violence and social distress — a true showcase of sonic madness in pure Abbinormal style”, “Italia’s Gore Talent” offers a visceral soundtrack to modern decay.
Visually, the album continues the collaboration with visionary artist Davide Scianca, whose disturbing and decadent imagery perfectly mirrors the band’s uncompromising musical identity.
Today ABBINORMAL unleash the video for their first single “Hippopotamus”.
Band’s frontman Eric states: “‘Hippopotamus’ is the track that we chose to represent Abbinormal’s new studio album!
A song that embodies all the hallmarks of our sound: extreme speed, groove, attitude, and that cutting irony that has always distinguished us. We chose this song as our first single because it best represents what we define as “Hellcore”: a mix of ferocity and originality that leaves no escape. Of course, there will be much more on the album: more experimentation than ever before and a sound that fully embraces the metal universe. Let the march of the most dangerous animal on the planet accompany you on this new, crazy, and visionary journey”.
Formed in 1996 and reborn in 2017, ABBINORMAL has built a reputation for blending grindcore, death, and thrash metal with a provocative and chaotic edge. After the explosive debut “1996” (2019) and the brutal “Grind Hotel” (2023), the new album “Italia’s Gore Talent” takes their sound to an even more extreme level.
ABBINORMAL has shared the stage with international acts such as Gutalax, Crowbar, Left To Die, Terrorhammer, Hideous Divinity, Exilia, The Modern Age Slavery, Schizo, Hour Of Penance, Node, and Genus Ordinis Dei, cementing their place in the extreme metal scene.
“Italia’s Gore Talent” is more than just an album — it is a grotesque carnival of chaos, critique, and catharsis.

Just recently VADER celebrated the 25th Anniversary of their classic “Litany” album, which originally came out on Metal Blade Records in 2000 with a special vinyl reissue edition. The original 11 tracks / 31 minutes of “Litany” were newly re-mastered for vinyl by Wojtek Wieslawski / Hertz Recording Studio and the LP also includes a 16-page booklet with new liner-notes by band leader, guitarist and vocalist Peter Wiwczarek.
Vader’s Peter Wiwczarek commented in the liner notes as follows about “Litany”: “‘Litany’ was definitely our fastest and most brutal album ever recorded…This year the album celebrates its quarter-century and we want to remind you of the power of these brutal riffs. The album returns to the stages in full form. Many of the songs haven’t been played since the 2000-2001 promotional tour. Some of them have never been played. I invite you to the world of ‘Litany’! Remember…you enter here at your own risk!”
Five years after the much-lauded 12th studio album Solitude In Madness, VADER return with 3 brand-new tracks once again produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studio, UK. Featuring excellent artwork by Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Testament, Dark Funeral), this EP marks the first recording as a quintet with guitarist Mauser returning to the group and new drummer Michael alongside vocalist/guitarist Peter, bassist Hal and third guitarist Spider.
Humanihility offers scorching new songs that prove to be vicious, thrash-laden anthems perfectly blending old-school thrash with VADER’s unique straight-forward fury and neckbreaking tempos. Each of the songs was created by a different band member, giving them a more personal style.
The only physical edition will be a limited 12” (red vinyl, 700 copies). Artwork was created by Marcelo Vasco Arts.

Unbending (Mystic Festival Anthem 2025)
In case you missed, also watch the music video for the latest single “Unbending’ (which was the official anthem of Poland’s renowned Mystic Festival this year), created by Robert Gasperowicz:
Power, epicness, and roots deeply grounded in Nordic Death Metal at its finest — BÖLTHORN are back to shake the metal scene with their brand new single “Primeval Hunt”, available on October 31st, 2025 via Wanikiya Record.
On the same day, the official music video for the track will be released on YouTube.
With this song, the band officially joins the Wanikiya Record roster, marking the beginning of a new and exciting chapter that anticipates their upcoming full-length album, due for release in 2026.
“Primeval Hunt” has been chosen as the manifesto of this new era: a track that embodies the essence of the upcoming concept album, narrating the eternal conflict within mankind — suspended between primal instinct and evolution, between the choice of being prey or hunter. There is no definitive answer, only the weight of ancient legacies that still shape our decisions today.
Bölthorn, whose name draws inspiration from Norse mythology, were formed in 2015 as a Death Metal project by Ironcross (guitar/composer), joined by Rob (guitar) and Drake (vocals). From the very beginning, the trio crafted a powerful, massive, and melodic sound, quickly turning the initial idea into a full-fledged band.
In 2018, they released their debut album “Across the Human Path” through Broken Bones Records, recorded at AUDIOCORE Studio in Fontevivo (PR). After the pandemic, the band reached stability with Stefano (guitar), Beppe (bass), and Emiliano (drums).
In the summer of 2025, Jessica (former guitarist of Injury) officially joined the lineup, replacing Stefano and solidifying the current formation.
Today, Bölthorn are working on their second album, an ambitious concept set for release in 2026, with “Primeval Hunt” serving as both a prelude and a statement of intent.
With their epic and crushing sound, Bölthorn reaffirm their identity and open a new chapter in their career under the banner of Wanikiya Record/Promotion.
