CROBOT BIO:

“In the shadowed valleys of Pennsylvania, where the relics of coal and the echo of a post-industrial America fuse, the band CROBOT bursts forth—a sonic whirlwind born of rebellion and raw power. This band is not just a troop of musicians; they are a high-speed chase through the wastelands of rock ‘n’ roll, armed with a potent cocktail of adrenaline and sonic boom.

At the helm is Brandon Yeagley, the quintessential rock ‘n’ roll shaman, wielding his harmonica and microphone like twin totems of chaos and creation. His fervor borders on the religious, a revivalist bent on converting the masses with each electrifying note and primal scream. Chris Bishop, the guitar-slinging axeman, carves through the darkness with riffs sharp enough to slice through the thickest fog, forging a path with every frenetic strum.

Joining the fray, Pat Seals, the latest addition to the rhythm section, pounds the bass with a ferocity that commands the shadows, his vibrations weaving through the fabric of the night, speaking directly into the void. Alongside him, Dan Ryan on drums stokes the engine of this auditory beast, his beats a thunderous pulse that breathes life into their wild musical onslaught.

Their odyssey through the sonic wilderness kicked off with the electrifying debut of *Something Supernatural*, slicing through the static of the mainstream with a vibe that was both a nod to the past and a leap into the future. The journey took a gritty, neon-soaked turn with *Welcome to Fat City*, an album that injected a dose of urban decay and psychedelic funk into their sound, expanding their narrative into the darker corners of the city. By the time *Motherbrain* hit the streets, CROBOT had established themselves as a beacon for the disen- franchised, their music a battle hymn for those society had cast aside, with “Low Life” rising as an anthem for the underground. The saga continued with *Feel This*, an explosive collection that captured the raw, live energy of the band, further solidifying their status as torch- bearers of rock’s chaotic, rebellious spirit.

*Obsidian* marks CROBOT’S most introspective journey yet, as the album dives into the deep, murky waters of the human condition, threading ancient myths with personal demons across its tracks. Each song descends into the darker reaches of the psyche, set to the re- lentless rhythm of heavy, pulsing beats and gut-wrenching guitar solos, offering a stark reflection of internal struggles.

This intense exploration on the album sets the stage for the raw and unfiltered experience of CROBOT’S live performances. Witnessing the band on stage is to grasp the full chaotic impact of their music. Transformed into something otherworldly, CROBOT becomes a force of nature, tear- ing through venues like a tornado and leaving behind nothing but awe. Their live shows transcend typical concerts, evolving into seismic events where the rock and roll spirit vibrates through the air, shaking the very foundations of the musical landscape.

So, if you’re ready for a ride that teeters on the brink of madness, strap in. This isn’t just a band. This is CROBOT—steering a ship through the storms of sound with the mad delight of a stunt driver at the wheel, screaming into the soul with the echo of rock gods past and the fierce hunger of those yet to come. Welcome to the spectacle, the chaos, the evolution. This is rock ‘n’ roll in its most primal form. Buckle up; it’s a wild ride.”

TENEBRIS Reveal First Single ‘Popiel’ from Upcoming Album “Kochanowski”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 20, 2025

Tenebris have unveiled the first single from their upcoming album “Kochanowski”. The track “Popiel” offers a glimpse into the new record set for release on 7 November 2025 via Pagan Records.

“Popiel” is an excerpt of Juliusz Słowacki’s epic poem Król Duch. The lyrics tell the story of a spirit incarnating in the bodies of Polish kings, beginning a journey of madness and magic with Popiel. The track’s intense narrative is a perfect representation of Tenebris’s unique sound, blending their death metal origins with progressive and jazz influences.

“Popiel” is available now on all major streaming platforms. Add it to your library via Spotify and other services.

Founded in Łódź in 1991, Tenebris is one of Poland’s most original and long-running metal bands. “Kochanowski” is a musical continuation of their 2018 EP, “Legendarna”, and delves into the surprising, esoteric side of Polish poet Jan Kochanowski. The band’s frontman, Siwy Jaszy, discovered that Kochanowski’s epigrams were a labyrinth based on Pythagorean numerology, transforming the poet into a figure of magical arts.

The album’s creative process began in 2021 and was completed in 2025, with lyrics drawing from literary giants like Kochanowski, Słowacki, Adam Mickiewicz. The new record features special guests, including Maciej Pasiński (ex Sirrah, Pincer Consortium) on backing vocals and growls, Paweł Szamburski on clarinet, and Sylwia Levy on backing vocals.

The current lineup consists of:
Siwy Jaszy – vocals, guitar
Bartek Polny – bass guitar
Przemysław Dominiak – guitar
Grzegorz Graczyk – drums

$ATORI ZOOM Drops New Single Video ‘Whisper’ from Upcoming Album “Black Moon”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 20, 2025

$ATORI ZOOM, the dark wave rap protege of goth icon Justin Warfield (of She Wants Revenge) today releases the first much-anticipated preview of his upcoming new album, Black Moon.

Produced by Lansing, MI based producer Nor’Ledges, “Whisper” draws, says $atori, from “some of my favorite influences in the witchhouse and electronic darkwave scene. The lyrics are simple in concept, but the delivery carries the emotional weight that gives it its impact.

“At its core, ‘Whisper’ is about dependence.. the way an obsessive connection can bring you back to life but also drag you down. The message is emotionally vulnerable, and it’s where the new sound begins. With earlier songs like ‘Buster,’, I broke through in the underground rap scene. Now I’m moving into something darker and more reflective, inspired by acts like Crystal Castles. This record is more honest than anything I’ve ever done before.”

SINGLE: https://orcd.co/satorizoom_whisper

$atori has already offered his online Spotify following an invigorating taste of this stunning new direction via a three hour, 66 song playlist titled simply Electronic Darkwave, and featuring the likes of Missing Textures, White Light, Ketamine Girl and Untrue, established names in the field, of course, but all a significant influence on “Whisper.”

ELECTRONIC DARKWAVE PLAYLIST https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3YllpaXbzFOS1VwnXN1BkP

“Whisper,” he explains, “was sparked by a need to understand myself more deeply and connect with listeners in a more honest, intimate way. The pivot from aggressive, hardcore rap to a more electronic and atmospheric sound reflects that.”

The accompanying video is as driven as the song, centering as it does on “a mysterious blonde girl wandering through tunnels, a literal depiction of someone chasing lust and love in obsessive, destructive ways.”

Even the 2,200 mile distance between $atori and producer Nor’Ledges proved no obstacle. “We built the record remotely over Zoom, but the process ended up feeling surprisingly personal.  And Black Moon continues this sound and explores similar themes, building its own distinct world.”

Or, as Justin Warfield puts it, “It’s his most progressive, deep, and exciting work to date.”

STERBHAUS Release Full Live Video for “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 19, 2025

On the 17th of October 2025 – Exactly ten years to the day – Sterbhaus finally released the full video footage of the entire show that became the Live album “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” – An album that charted at #1 in physical sales in Sweden when released in 2021.
The show was professionally filmed with six cameras and was only ever aired through a streaming event on July the 9th 2021.

Marcus of Sterbhaus:
‘This is such a cool thing to watch – I mean we intended only to have the show filmed to have something else on the web other than hand held phone videos from the crowd. And we got a whole show when the band was at it’s peak after having toured with Vader, Melechesh and Shining. It’s also bittersweet – because we’d just released a terrific album and got cancelled from all the tours we had planned, got no festival bookings due to that and whatever we seemed to do to try to remedy that came back to bite us in the ass – like having the video for Bloodbarf banned for instance.’

Stockholm veterans Sterbhaus play Metal Deluxe which can be described as timeless Death, Thrash, Heavy, Black and Progressive Metal that is neither retro or modern. And Sterbhaus lines this with a heavy dose or dark wit humour.

The band is the home of Marcus Hammarström (previously Elvira Madigan 1998-2008, Shining and currently also in Veile – side project of Ghul from Mayhem), Jimmy Ahovalli and Erik Röjås (previously Ondskapt and Decadence). Started in 2007 as a five-piece and reformed several times since then, Sterbhaus ended up as a trio after having looked back on years releasing absolutely stellar albums, touring Europe (as support for Vader, Melechesh and Shining), South America and after having played several prestigious festivals such as Metal Town, Rock Harz, BlastFest, Extremefest which meant sharing the bill with Slipknot, Amon Amarth, Marilyn Manson, Behemoth, Opeth etc.

In 2025 Sterbhaus made a quite formidable return after a period of being fairly dormant and surprised the scene with the comeback single “Deth Bü Wolfe” which is the knuckle sandwich old/new/awaiting fans never saw coming.

The current status of Sterbhaus is actually quite unknown as the band announced its end in 2019 – while simultaneously making it very clear that there were still several releases to be made. One was the live album “Necrostabbing at Göta Källare” which achieved the unlikely feat of snagging the No1 sales position in Sweden for physical releases and No9 for all Metal and all formats!

While the debut “Angels for Breakfast …And God for Lunch” (2013) seemed to open most evert door the album “New Level of Malevolence” (2015) – although popular and praised when released, seemed to close those doors instead. Several cancelled tours, being banned for offensive videos (a ridiculous claim ofc), botched promotions, even more cancellations and one or two empty festival seasons together with personal issues put Sterbhaus in such a tight spot the band had a hard time bouncing back. Marcus Hammarström joined Swedish extreme metal titans Shining and toured extensively while Sterbhaus released the Christmas EP “Krampusnacht”. Eventually Marcus quit Shining to focus on the 2025 Sterbhaus album “Next Akin to Chaos”.

Either it will be a momentous epitaph or a new beginning.

Line up:
Marcus Hammarström – Vocals/Bass
Jimmy Ahovalli – Guitars
Erik Röjås – Drums
