Since their inception with the crushing 2021 debut album “TIIT”, Sun Of The Suns has carved out a peculiar space blending technical death metal, progressive groove, and futuristic soundscapes. Now, the band is set to re-ignite the extreme scene with “Entanglement”, a transcendent cosmic soundscape forged from the brutal rhythm of tech death and ethereal melodies.
The music showcases a singular creative vision and features the explosive and intricate drumming of Francesco Paoli (Fleshgod Apocalypse), whose performance adds a layer of precision that fits perfectly the Sun Of The Suns forward-thinking sound. “Entanglement” was expertly crafted and fine-tuned by producer Simone Mularoni, ensuring every element is delivered with stunning clarity.
Coupled with emotionally resonant lyrics forming a captivting concept, the second effort of the Italian unit is a punishing, intense, and shattering celestial voyage.

Mr. Enchantment is that influencer we have probably all encountered at least once in our lives, who with his smooth talk and mannerisms, almost without us noticing, ‘enchants’ us with his ideas and influences our way of thinking and acting, with the aim of increasing his personal gain.
In Perpetual Fire’s video, this concept is masterfully interpreted by artist Stefano Luna who, with a vague reference to the great actor and mime artist Marcel Marceau, brings the grotesque character of Mr. Enchantment to life.

When Woodstock legend and hitmaker Melanie Safka passed away on January 23 2024, work was just beginning on one of the most cherished long term projects of her career, a full-blown children’s album.
She had toyed with the concept in the past – at Woodstock itself, she performed “Animal Crackers”; her debut album in 1968 included an adaptation of AA Milne’s “Christopher Robin Is Saying His Prayers”; and “Alexander Beetle,” which she’d been performing since her teenaged years was still appearing in her live set 50 years later.
Now, she declared, she was finally going to do it, and nothing, she joked was going to stop her. And it didn’t, as her three children – daughters Leilah and Jeordie, and son Beau Jarred – delved into both her most recent recordings, and a career’s worth of archive material, to create the album that their mother would have wanted.
With songs that Melanie recorded dating back to the mid-1960s, and undiscovered until after her death, this collection of lullabies is both a revelation for fans of this ever-pioneering artist, and an eye-opener to those who remember Melanie only as the purveyor of a record breaking sequence of hits in the early 1970s… she was the first solo performer to have three singles simultaneously on the Billboard chart, while her chart topper “Brand New Key” has been performed by artists as far afield as Olivia Newton-John, Todd Rundgren and UK comedy act The Wurzels (who promptly topped the charts as well!)
Six of the recordings featured on Lullabies From Heaven date back to Melanie’s teenaged recordings; others trace her career across subsequent decades; and as the album came together, her children Beau Jarred, Leilah and Jeordie went into the studio in their own right to sing and add instrumentation. Melanie’s grandchildren and great grandchildren, too, appear on the album – that’s four generations coming together across one magical album.
Lullabies From Heaven is a charming collection featuring a number of classic lullabies, including “Puff The Magic Dragon,” “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” and “Teddy Bear’s Picnic.” But it also includes a number of original songs written by Melanie: “Skinny Bone Jones” (co-written with her daughter Jeordie), “Ring Around The Moon,” and “Garden In The City.”
Many of the songs resonated with the children – hearing her teenaged renditions of “Puff The Magic Dragon,” they recalled her singing it to them when they were tiny. “Teddy Bear’s Picnic,” performed here by Beau Jarred, was another bedtime favorite. “I’m beyond glad we got to do that one for her,” he says.
“These songs are all so special and all have their own place in my heart,” says daughter Jeordie. “Momma was always such an inspiration and incredible craftswoman of songs. All these songs have had a unique place in our hearts & especially now. We are excited to share these with everyone .. from our family to yours.”
Daughter Leilah adds: “I love singing with my family! There were so many little magical moments I really felt mom’s spirit with us. Just truly special!!”

The devastating Danish thrash metallers HELL’S DOMAIN have signed a record deal with Punishment 18 Records for the release of the second full-length album of their career. The record, titled “Terminal State”, will be preceded by the first single on October 17th, with the full release scheduled for November 28th.
“Guinea Pigs”, the brand-new single by Italian alternative metal band KLOGR, is available now in all digital platforms. Originally released in 2013, the track quickly became one of the band’s signature songs – often chosen to close their live sets thanks to its powerful message and raw energy. Now, more than a decade later, the song returns in a completely reimagined version, reflecting the band’s new sonic identity and artistic evolution.
At the time of its original release, “Guinea Pigs” made headlines for its unflinching music video, which featured graphic and real-life footage in collaboration with Sea Shepherd, the global marine conservation organization. The visuals aimed to expose the brutal realities of overfishing, the senseless slaughter of whales and sharks, and the reckless exploitation of marine ecosystems – all done for profit rather than survival. Frontman and founder Rusty reflects on the track’s relevance today: “Ten years on, sadly not much has changed. While some progress has been made, we’re still far from a widespread awareness. This isn’t just about what people choose to eat – it’s about the extinction of species that are vital to our planet’s ecological balance”.
The 2025 video takes a different, more introspective direction. It features the band performing the song, interspersed with subtle visual cues that reinforce their long-standing support for environmental causes and their connection with organizations working to protect the Earth.
The new track is part of “REBORN”, a double album featuring 15 songs from across the band’s discography, completely re-recorded and rearranged with a modern twist out on October 31th. This is neither a simple compilation nor a remaster, but a true musical rebirth that fully represents the new sonic direction the band has embraced in recent years. “Why Reborn? Because when you’ve felt dead inside for too long and you get the chance to feel alive again, you can’t ignore it” says Rusty “After years of inner drought, something finally shifted. I emerged from a draining phase and felt the urge to breathe new life into a project that has saved me more than once. I wanted to honor everyone who has been part of KLOGR through the years, and the best way to do that was to give new dignity to songs that, at the time of their original release, still carried the weight of my musical immaturity. Reborn is my way of making peace with the past – acknowledging its value through the lens of 15 years of experience”.
