Having toured with Cattle Decapitation across the US early in 2022, Disquisition on an Execution is the first taste of the band with new vocalist Tyler Beam (ex-Promise Breaker) at the helm, with Dylan Potts (drums), Andrew Petway (bass) and Wyatt McLaughlin (guitars) completing the line-up.

On the new track, the band state: “‘Birth of the Butcher’ is the next instalment in the series of the ‘Butcher’ character from our 2015 album Soulless Hymns. It is a prequel of brutality. A continued commentary on the human condition, the states of consciousness are predetermined and suffering is beyond repair.”
