Italian/Swedish hard rock/heavy metal band Hell in the Club share today their new single and accompanying lyric video, “Robert the Doll”, ahead of the release of their new studio album, “Joker In The Pack”, out on November 7, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
Vocalist Tezzi Persson revealed the story behind the track: “The story of Robert the Doll originates from the early 1900s, when a young boy received a seemingly innocent handmade doll as a gift. Soon after, strange things began happening in the house. The doll was said to move on its own, its expression changing when no one was looking… Watching… Waiting”.
“Whenever something went wrong, the boy had only one explanation: “Robert did it”. Over time, fear took hold. The doll was locked away but never forgotten”, she continued. “Today, the doll resides in a museum in Key West, Florida. Yet, many claim his spirit still lingers. Visitors who mock or disrespect him report accidents, misfortune, and strange occurrences shortly after. So, be on your best behavior… and beware of Robert the Doll”.
Hell in the Club, a killer hard rock band with a style rooted in the classic ‘80s sound and its own modern identity, return with their seventh studio album, the first with Swedish singer Tezzi Persson.
The band stated: “This album marks a new era for us, the first chapter of a new beginning. Nine hard rock gems, plus a moving ballad, for an album that’s anything but boring. Intense, exciting, fun… in one word: rock! The wonderful cover artwork is by Alessandro Conti Mix and the master by the always excellent Simone Mularoni of Domination Studio”.
Founded by Andrea “Andy” Buratto (Secret Sphere), Dave “Damna” Moras (Elvenking) and Andrea “Picco” Piccardi, the band has carved out a solid reputation through six acclaimed studio albums, extensive European touring with acts like Crashdïet, Jettblack, and Crucified Barbara, and appearances at major festivals including Sonisphere, Basin Fire Fest, and Heineken Jammin’ Festival.
After signing to Frontiers Records in 2017, Hell in the Club released “Hell Of Fame” (2020), the “Kamikaze” EP (2020, celebrating their 10th anniversary), and their sixth album “F.U.B.A.R.” (2022), a straight-up hard rock record hailed as one of their strongest to date.
Following the departure of founding vocalist Dave Moras, the band faced a turning point. Instead of replacing him with a similar voice, bassist Andy proposed a bold shift: introducing a female singer. Enter Terese “Tezzi” Persson (Infinite & Divine, Venus 5), a powerhouse vocalist from Sweden with a voice perfectly suited to the band’s raw, high-energy style. After a single rehearsal, the choice was clear.
In April 2024, Tezzi officially joined the band, debuting with the single Carolina Reaper. Momentum quickly built toward the creation of their seventh album: “Joker In The Pack”.
This new album is the first with Tezzi fronting the band – and it captures Hell in the Club at their fiercest. Ten tracks of pure adrenaline, from the fiery opener “The Devil Won’t Forget Me” to the emotional closer “When The Veil Of Night Falls”.
With powerful vocals, gritty guitars, and driving rhythms, “Joker In The Pack” doesn’t reinvent Hell in the Club, it reinvigorates them – launching a bold new era while staying true to their roots.

Following the stomping “Heavy As Hell”, the first single release from their upcoming album “Built To Destroy”, New York steamrollers N.Y.C. are once again kicking down the doors of the virtual Heaven ‘n’ Hell Bar to blast our ears with the title track of their perfect metal battering ram for the beginning of the end times – a banger that’s even more intense than the single before.
“Built To Destroy” rages, thrashes, and rocks with an attitude that seems to have sprung straight from a time when badass was still considered a compliment to idols, when real Arnies were still allowed to eat the finest jungle mud and stuff themselves with invincible alien hunters for dessert, when action heroes were still wacky adult guys instead of neurotic teens and twentysomethings, when leather jackets were still made of leather, and metal still gave pop the middle finger.
Metal, action flicks, and later, with Doom, shooters belonged together – simply because no other cultural form delivered such a rich and refined punch in the face as those.
And N.Y.C. aren’t in the mood for making exceptions either. Or, how N.Y.C. axeman Tommy Bolan describes the return to lost values: “The title song – a crisp ‘I’m fed up and sick of everything!’ Simply a respawn of the good old ‘Do it My Way’ – and if you get in my way, I’ll run you over and drop a building on you. A feel-good song for everyone who’s had enough!”
Since a touch of wholesome blasphemy goes with the territory, “Built To Destroy” is presented in the flame-spewing cathedral of the Heaven ‘n’ Hell Bar, which for the first time opens a gate to the dark dimension beyond, offering a glimpse of a still unknown post-apocalyptic cityscape. Fans who quickly drew parallels to the aesthetics of the Doom series in the video for “Heavy As Hell” will be reminded even more of the Doom Slayer and his sinister missions.
Once again, the music video is the brainchild of award-winning Hollywood veteran Walter Schulz, who continues the band’s series of virtual performances. The Academy Award winner comments on the unique collaboration with Epic/Unreal Engine as follows: “The approach to the N.Y.C. music videos has been a unique new way and possibly a future industry standard to produce content for this type of material.”
Markus Liedtke, CEO and founder of production company AMNET (ADRENALIZING MEDIA NETWORK), adds: “Every gamer knows Epic’s Unreal Engine – but we’re taking it to the next level. With our groundbreaking N.Y.C. music video project, we’re redefining how artists, gaming, and entertainment merge into a new kind of global franchise.”
The Heavy ‘n’ Hell Bar itself was introduced as the first established location in the still young NRCity narrative universe at San Diego Comic-Con (CCI 2023) in an exclusive comic book edition of the “NRCity Stories Extreme” series entitled “Chapter 0 – A Painful Birth”, in which the band already made an appearance.
About N.Y.C. and the upcoming album “Built To Destroy”
What would it sound like if AC/DC brawled with Judas Priest in an alley, while Motörhead revved a Harley over the whole thing? Meet N.Y.C. and their debut album “Built To Destroy” (release date: November 14). The record was produced by Tommy Bolan and is being released by ADRENALIZING MEDIA NETWORK (Executive Producer). It was recorded at Deep End Music Studios (mixed by Kenny Meriedeth) and mastered by Robert Vosgien (Los Angeles/USA). The album also features a guest performance by Grammy Award Winner and Hollywood composer Vince DiCola (Rocky IV, Transformers: The Movie). “Built To Destroy” is heavy, it’s loud, it’s fed up – and it’s definitely not here to make friends.
Founded by lead singer/guitarist Tommy Bolan, the six-string shredder behind Warlock’s platinum “Triumph & Agony”, born and raised in Queens, NY, the band also features metal legends Stet Howland (W.A.S.P., Metal Church) on drums and Steve Unger (Metal Church) on bass. Together, they channel the sound of New York City – noisy, restless, pissed-off, and ready to rise from the gutter.
The album is a full-on sonic tantrum and the pre-release festivities are coming in hot. The launch of Bolan’s signature guitar strings (via Optima Strings) is underway, alongside some – quite literally – epic and amazing videos with VFX veteran Walter Schulz (Emmy & Academy Award Winner and Hollywood VFX Director). Mr. Schulz and the team of ADRENALIZING MEDIA NETWORK have been working with Unreal Engine and all their latest technologies, spared no effort to get never done before use cases out of the outstanding capabilities of the latest gaming tech. “Walter is a Master at his craft and a perfect fit,“ states Bolan, ”The visual world he has created captures the intensity of N.Y.C.” Music experts should keep an eye out for some exciting promo content and give-aways with Schecter, Peavey, Morley, Optima Strings, Tascam, EHX, Gator, or Levy’s and look out for the upcoming release of the N.Y.C. signature Wine and Vodka.
“‘Built To Destroy’ is basically the return for anyone to end all of the bullshit that has been dumped on them in their life,” Bolan adds. “All of the madness, lies, and self sacrifice of body, mind, and soul at the hands of others shall now be turned around. As my song says: I am ‘Tired Of Smiling’. All of this has made me the half man, half machine you see before you. I have returned to set my demons free and tolerate no one’s limitations any longer.”
“Built To Destroy” isn’t just an album. It’s a sonic 10-ton nuke honing in on your stereo, so get ready and brace yourselves!
