HELLFOX Release Official Video for ‘Water On The Ceiling’

Italian all-female metal band HELLFOX have unveiled the brand new official video for “Water On The Ceiling”, one of the standout tracks from their latest album “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity“, released last June 6th, 2025 via Rockshots Records.

A song born from the suffocating sensation of insomnia, “Water On The Ceiling” captures the eerie stillness of endless nights when eyes remain wide open as reality blurs into a waking dream. The track blends haunting melodies, distorted synths and Hellfox’s trademark dual female vocals to convey the claustrophobic feeling of staring at a ceiling that turns into water—suffocating, oppressive and inescapable.

The video adds a new visual dimension to the song’s atmosphere, portraying the emotional weight of sleeplessness and the surreal imagery that inspired the lyrics. It represents yet another chapter in the band’s journey of exploring the depths of human emotion through music and imagery.

“The Spectrum Of Human Gravity” has already gained recognition for its unique fusion of Nordic melodic death metal roots, pop-inspired clean vocals, and modern electronic textures. With singles like “Seaweed Braids” and “Atlas”, Hellfox set the stage for an album that confronts loneliness, mental struggle,s and the search for identity without resorting to clichés. “Water On The Ceiling” continues this narrative, offering a vivid metaphor for psychological weight and restless nights.

Recorded at Eden Studio by Alessio Lucatti and mixed/mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, the album showcases the band’s fearless approach to songwriting and their growth since their 2022 debut.

For fans of Amorphis, In Flames, and Dark Tranquillity, Hellfox’s new video is not just a performance but a visceral dive into the emotions that define “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity“.

“The Spectrum Of Human Gravity” is now available on all digital platforms.

LORD OF THE LOST Release New Single + Official Music Video ‘One Of Us Will Be Next’

LORD OF THE LOST break out into yet another new direction with “One Of Us Will Be Next”, the latest single from their upcoming studio album OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, out December 12, 2025 via Napalm Records. Emotionally carried by gentle piano melodies, this ballad gifts a powerful soundtrack to an aspect of life most people tend to avoid: its end.

Taking a deep look at death itself, this thoughtful addition to LORD OF THE LOST’s expansive catalogue yet again manages to find hope even in the darkest of places. Chris Harms weaves his haunting vocals around the gloomy premise of our ultimate passing, turning it into an almost beautiful event – a track sure to make the upcoming OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 stand out as a worthy follow-up to the band’s summer release and trilogy opener, OPVS NOIR Vol. 1.

Chris Harms about “One Of Us Will Be Next”:
“In the middle of a concert last year, I suddenly realized: one of us in this venue will be the next to go. On their way home that night, a few weeks later, maybe in a couple of months or years. But inevitably, one of us will be the next to die, and we will never come together again in the exact same constellation. The same goes for every family gathering, every party with friends, and even time spent as a couple. ‘One Of Us Will Be Next’ is a plea not to dwell on the past or search for happiness in a better future, but to be grateful for every moment, the present, and the company we find ourselves in at any given time—and to meet people with that very awareness. Because every word could be our last, at any moment.”

With OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, the versatile six-piece delves deeper into their melancholic take on unraveling their innermost selves and adds a hopeful new layer to the wonderfully dark panorama that was opened up by OPVS NOIR Vol. 1. Following their enchantingly colorful Blood & Glitter, which earned them participation in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and a #1 chart entry in their native Germany, LORD OF THE LOST reinvent themselves yet again. With OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, another 11 heartfelt songs join the three-part cycle, tying seamlessly into Vol. 1. Once again produced by frontman Chris Harms in the historic Chameleon Studios, it is yet another stirring example of the Hamburg-based band’s unparalleled versatility. Completely fearless, LORD OF THE LOST have long since playfully risen above genre conventions and expectations. OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 mercilessly opens new doors in the band’s musical palace, yet still feels 100% at home for fans from the very beginning!

Opening with dark yet catchy “The Fall From Grace”, LORD OF THE LOST immediately showcases their way with grand ballroom choruses weaved into grave melodies that will continue to sit enthroned on all the varied tracks until the last note of the ballad “Sharp Edges”. Joining in are guests ranging from scene favorites to top-tier musicians outside the metal genre. First up is INFECTED RAIN’s Lena Scissorhands, who refines the pitch-black “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?” with the full range of her fierce, yet fragile vocals. Similarly, Anna Brunner of rising melodic metal stars LEAGUE OF DISTORTION and symphonic metal band EXIT EDEN lends her energetic voice to “Please Break The Silence”, inducing goosebumps – every talent is an important scene in OPVS NOIR’s grimly colorful movie for the ears. Unexpectedly, yet fittingly, Finnish rap artist KÄÄRIJÄ, runner-up at Eurovision 2023, turns “Raveyard” into a dancefloor with a mix of industrial, gothic, and Finnish rap—as if heralding the dawn of a new genre. The most moving collaboration is the opulent “What Have We Become”, in which experimental artist IAMX meets Chris Harms for a cathartic duet.

ANGUS McSIX Release New Single & Official Video ‘The Fire Of Yore’ Feat. Uwe Ochsenknecht + New Guitarist

[Copyright: Michael Jagla / Edit: Giannis Nakos]

Rising from the aftermath of many heroic battles is the great ANGUS McSIX! Now, following Angus’ brother, Adam McSix, stepping forth as their main character, the power metal supergroup is thrilled to announce the release of their new album on March 13, 2026 via Napalm Records.

Along with the announcement, ANGUS McSIX offers a new single! “The Fire Of Yore” bridges the gap between Manowar, Modern Talking, and Electric Callboy and features a legend of the German entertainment industry. Actor and musician Uwe Ochsenknecht (“Das Boot”, 1981) is featured in the accompanying official video! In ANGUS McSIX’s universe, he takes on the role of the mighty King, father to both previous singer Angus McSix and current hero Adam McSix.

The true metal hymn conveys Adam and his father discussing Angus’ cruel fate—and how to save the legendary hero from the ice block prison in which his nemesis, the Archdemon Seebulon, trapped him. The answer: METAL! Since Angus is also revealed to have no memory of his previous adventures due to a long fever, “The Fire Of Yore” cleverly introduces new lore to the ever-expanding ANGUS McSIX universe.

Luckily, Adam gains additional help on his brave journey to rescue his brother, at the hands of The Dwarf, the band’s new guitarist, introduced with this single. Behind the new character is none other than Jasmin Pabst, guitar influencer and stage heroine.

On the new album, ANGUS McSIX expands on their exaggerated, ironic style, their one-of-a-kind storytelling proving even more epic, absurd, and magnificent than ever. The band will embark on their very own headline tour right after the album announcement. More details on the album and pre-order will be announced soon!

Seeb Levermann on “The Fire Of Yore” and the collaboration with Uwe Ochsenknecht:
“‘The Fire Of Yore’ is one of my favorite songs off this record, though I love them all. It was amazing working with Uwe Ochsenknecht on the cliffs of Mallorca, being able to put the storyline together in such a nice way. We are also super happy to have Jassy, The Dwarf, on board now, while Adam has not found Thalestris yet. Jassy is an amazing person and a great guitar player.”

ANGUS McSIX are off to tell their heroic tales on a European tour starting Thursday, supporting heavyweights WIND ROSE. Their very own headline tour will follow in March of 2026.

HÄLLAS Announce New Album “Panorama” + Scandinavian Tour Dates

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 1, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: HÄLLAS. Leave a comment

Swedish rock quintet Hällas are proud to announce their fourth full length Panaroma, which will be released on 30th January, 2026. The new album will be released via their own label Äventyr Records.

With their new album Panorama, Hällas both consolidates and expands the image of what the band is – but also what rock can be. This time, different perspectives in a scenario are explored regarding whether humanity is capable of understanding a viewpoint other than their own. It reflects our time but is, in typical Hällas fashion, staged in a fictional, distant world.

“In one way, Panorama sounds familiar: an imaginative hybrid of progressive 70s rock and heavy metal with echoes of both folk and psychedelia, along with conceptual content. In another sense, you have not quite heard a record like this from Hällas before. The self-confidence has never been as evident. Influences from different directions collide, and sometimes clash, contributing to the feeling that the expected instead culminates in wonder at what it is you’re hearing.“In further news, the band have announced new Scandinavian tour dates in support of the release. A full list of confirmed dates can be found below.

06-02-2026 Korjaamo, Helsinki (FI)
13-02-2026 Rockefeller, Oslo (NO)
20-02-2026 Fållan, Stockholm (SE)
21-02-2026 Filmstudion, Gothenburg (SE)
28-02-2026 Amager Bio, Copenhagen (DK)

Tickets on sale here: https://hallasband.com/live

More news concerning the album (including pre-orders) will be announced soon!

Forget about everyday life and step into an adventurous fantasy world – that’s what Hällas wants for their audience to experience. The Swedish quintet craft epic fantasy-themed concept albums filled with adventurous twin guitars, vintage synths, and mystical storytelling, carving out their own genre of adventure rock.

Their upcoming album Panorama is Hällas‘ fourth full length release. While  staying true to their signature sound and lyricism, it may very well be the most varied and complex so far.

Hällas were founded in 2011 and saw their initial breakthrough with their first full length album, Excerpts From A Future Past (2017), and its hit single ‘Star Rider’. Building on their initial success, Hällas released their sophomore album Conundrum in 2020, garnering them a Swedish Grammy nomination. The album trifecta was complete with the release of Isle of Wisdom in 2022, widening their repertoire even further.

With each release, the band has cultivated a cult following in the modern prog and
hard rock scenes around the world. With their cinematic storytelling and timeless
sound, Hällas has been touring far and wide-playing sold out shows all over Europe, as well as North and Latin America. Regardless of where, Hällas captures their audience with their own adventure rock universe coming to life on stage.

With Panorama, the band writes yet another chapter in the story of Hällas. Tread carefully, friends.

Hällas are:
Tommy Alexandersson: vocals, bass
Rickard Swahn: guitar
Marcus Petersson: guitar
Nicklas Malmqvist: keyboards
Kasper Eriksson: drums

DANHEIM Summons Ancient Forces on New Single + Video ‘Stormdans’

With more than 1 billion streams and features in the History Channel TV show Vikings, Danheim has become a cornerstone for Nordic folk, Viking and World music alongside Heilung and Wardruna. On his upcoming ninth album and first since signing with Season of Mist, producer Reidar Schaefer Olsen is continuing to evolve the Nordic sound by journeying home.

Today, Danheim is releasing “Stormdans” as the second advanced single from Heimferd. With drums that roll like thunder and strings that swirl with all the silent anticipation of dark clouds on the horizon, the song embodies the tension at the heart of the album between restraint and release, destruction and renewal.

Heimferd comes out October 31st, 2025 on Season of Mist.

Pre-save on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/prerelease/5jx5D2KXJEaIyXKSYgiyR1

“Stormdans” brings the tension swirling at the center of Heimferd to a head. Where other songs on his new album sink into quiet reflection, Danheim’s latest single summons the raw power of a storm. The sky-scraping strings and earthshaking beats resonate with ancient force.

“For me, Heimferd is a journey home”, Olsen says, “not to a physical place, but to my ancestry, honoring the weight of old paths while also forging new ones”.

Tracklist:

  1. Agermark (3:25)
  2. Brenhin Llwyd (3:01)
  3. Haukadalur (4:52)
  4. Heimferd (4:12) [WATCH]
