Metal Titans KREATOR have announced that their sixteenth studio album, KRUSHERS OF THE WORLD, will be released on January 16th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. Following the recent releases of the KREATOR documentary film Hate & Hope as well as Your Heaven, My Hell, the autobiography of front man Mille Petrozza, KRUSHERS OF THE WORLD will be the next step in the evolution of KREATOR – a band that is still at its peak more than forty years into their career.
KRUSHERS OF THE WORLD is not a shy title, it is a statement, an expression of pride and self-awareness knowing how long and hard the band’s path has been and knowing what they still have to say and share with their ever growing following. After the buzz around the movie and book, it is time for KREATOR to let the riffs, the roaring vocals, and thunderous drums do the talking.
Rounded off by a triumphant production courtesy of Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, who previously worked with the group on Phantom Antichrist (2012) and Gods Of Violence (2017), KREATOR return in perfect shape. The stunning cover artwork was created by none other than Polish genius Zbigniew Bielak (Ghost).
Furthermore, KREATOR have announced a massive EU & UK Headline tour with Carcass, Exodus and Nails for March and April 2026. Tickets are on sale NOW! You can find all confirmed dates at the bottom. Please be aware that strictly limited ticket + album bundles for the German live dates are exclusively available via the Nuclear Blast online store:

Fresh off of their successful recent European tour, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM are thrilled to announce their brand new partnership with Napalm Records! The American thrash metal legends have signed a worldwide contract with the premier rock and metal label, and are preparing to release new music soon.
A new era is dawning for the Arizona metal icons. With their iconic mascot Flotzilla growing more menacing with each release (just like the band themselves!), FLOTSAM AND JETSAM‘s work on their upcoming 16th studio album keeps the heavy momentum moving. Currently in production and slated for a 2026 release, it’ll mark nearly 40 years since the band’s groundbreaking debut, Doomsday for the Deceiver—one of the only albums to ever receive a 6K rating from Kerrang! Magazine. Though bassist Jason Newsted departed to join Metallica, the band pushed forward, following up with 1988’s unstoppable No Place for Disgrace. Since then, they have continued to evolve, showcasing some of their best work to date with recent releases Flotsam and Jetsam, The End of Chaos, Blood in the Water, and I Am The Weapon.
The band’s current lineup is arguably its strongest ever. Frontman AK Knutson continues bringing the magic, steadily improving his craft with every album and tour. He’s backed by the incredibly talented, exceptionally brilliant guitar duo of co-founder Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley, the powerful, precise and lightning fast magic of drummer Ken K Mary (Alice Cooper, Accept), and the “fresh blood”, extraordinary technical skills and prowess of bassist Bill Bodily.
Michael Gilbert of FLOTSAM AND JETSAM offers about the signing: “We are extremely excited about working with Napalm! They are an amazing company that is very passionate about metal music, just like FLOTSAM AND JETSAM is. Everyone in the band looks forward to a great relationship with a very like-minded company!”
Napalm Records Senior A&R Sebastian Münch adds: “We’ve been very impressed by Blood In The Water and I Am The Weapon, the two amazing Power/Thrash Metal albums that FLOTSAM AND JETSAM have released in recent years. Due to that and their legendary metal status, we are absolutely thrilled and proud to work alongside the band as they continue their legacy! Welcome to the Napalm family!”
With this powerhouse lineup and new label partnership, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM are primed to deliver another onslaught of relentless aggression in 2026!
FLOTSAM AND JETSAM is: Eric “AK” Knutson (Vocals) Steve Conley (Guitar) Michael Gilbert (Guitar) Bill Bodily (Bass) Ken K Mary (Drums)
Daedric continues the journey to their album As The Light Left with their latest single “Dreamweaver“, out now across all platforms from FiXT.
Daedric continues to push sonic boundaries with their latest hard-hitting single, “Dreamwaver” a blistering fusion of hard rock, electronic rock, and alternative metal. Powered by fierce energy and immersive storytelling, the track is a late addition to the band’s album that quickly proved itself essential.
Originally sparked by an undeniable demo “Dreamweaver” emerged as a spiritual sequel to fan-favorite “Alien Skin,” expanding its themes of paranoia, existential dread, and reality distortion. The song’s protagonist finds themselves trapped in an endless nightmare, questioning whether they ever truly escaped or if something dark still stalks them from the shadows.”It’s like, ‘Am I still in this nightmare? Did I ever escape? Or is something still after me?'” – Daedric
Musically, “Dreamweaver” is one of Daedric’s heaviest tracks to date. Crushing guitars, thunderous drums, and deep synth layers collide in a cinematic storm of aggression and atmosphere. The eerie, sci-fi horror tones are complemented by ominous whispers and soaring vocal hooks that dig into the listener’s psyche. The breakdown, originally intended as an instrumental moment, took on a life of its own with the addition of vocals, transforming into a climactic peak of intensity.
Lyrically, the track explores self-doubt, fear, and the terrifying possibility of being haunted by something unseen. The chorus hits with piercing existential questions: “Can you see the perpetual night? Do you know that it’s never alright?”
With its fierce mood, heavy instrumentation, and haunting narrative, “Dreamweaver” stands as a defining moment on Daedric’s record, cementing the band’s ability to blend storytelling with sheer sonic force.
As The Light Left is an album forged in both chaos and catharsis. With an unrelenting blend of nu-metal grit, cinematic darkness, and raw vulnerability, Daedric pushes their sound further than ever before—channeling pain, nostalgia, and primal fury.
The album opens with “The Other Terror,” fueled by a mental breakdown and relentless guitar riffs keeping the chaos sharp and direct. With unnerving screams and a tempo that mirrors the energy of fan-favorite “Nirn,” it sets the tone for an album that refuses to hold back. “Sand Tiger” stomps onto the scene like a nu-metal time capsule from the early 2000s, gritty, groovy, and scratched to hell. Inspired by the Cave of Wonders from Aladdin and built from a Linkin Park-esque synth loop, the track fuses live and electronic drums with existential lyrical weight. Then there’s “Callous”, a song that almost didn’t survive. The track was set to be delivered to the mixing engineer when the band collectively decided to tear it apart and rebuild it from the ground up. What emerged was a modern, emotionally devastating anthem about betrayal and self-inflicted retribution. It’s Daedric at their most emotionally and sonically unpredictable. “Night Mother”, is the song that truly marks the start of the album’s creation and all the turbulence that came with it to become a cornerstone of the album’s tone: brooding, cinematic, and deeply human.
Throughout As The Light Left, Daedric strips away polish in favor of pain, letting raw emotion bleed through genre-bending production and ferocious vocals. It’s not an album of easy answers or tidy resolutions. It’s the sound of collapse and creation, of dancing on the edge of the fire, torn between fury and fragility. Born from breakdowns, creative tension, and fearless reinvention, As The Light Left is both a cathartic purge and a statement of artistic intent: Daedric refined, but still untamed.
Daedric is an alternative rock and metal project led by vocalist and artist, Kristyn Hope, alongside producers, Clay Schroeder and Geoff Rockwell.
Daedric draws inspiration from an eclectic array of sources including the open world role-playing game series, The Elder Scrolls, from which the Daedric name is derived. The musical soundscape can best be described as “all killer, no filler” (according to Metal Epidemic) with a dance of hypnotic synths, elaborate grooves, and intensely dynamic vocals.
Kristyn launched the Daedric project in 2021 through a partnership with electronic rock label FiXT. With the debut full-length album, Mortal, and a May 2025 tour supporting TesseracT under Daedric’s belt, the project has solidified its hold on the line between rock and metal, with promises to tighten its grip on listeners’ ears. The band continues forward with a new album slated for release in late 2025.
Daedric has collaborated with labelmates Celldweller, Fight The Fade, Andromida, Void Chapter, and Highsociety for a gamut of well received singles that have also pulled in more fans from across the world. After dropping a variety of singles, music videos, and collaborations Daedric has amassed nearly 500K followers across all platforms, scored interviews in Outburn’s issue #112, mentions on Louder Sound, Punk Rocker, Metal Hammer, Metal Injection Spotify’s official “Women Of Metal” playlist, and recognition from Cristina of Lacuna Coil in a Spotify Women of Metal roundtable discussion between Lacuna Coil, Spiritbox, and Halestorm. They’ve also gained notoriety as Daedric’s track “Abandon,” a collaborative effort with Andromida, found its way into the spotlight when Ubisoft chose it for inclusion in a promotional trailer for Rainbow Six Siege.
EVIL SCARECROW return with the final single to be released ahead of their forthcoming album “Silicon Tea” due for digital release on 1st October 2025. “Shoptimus Prime” was released on Friday 26th September.
“Shoptimus Prime” is a genre bending consumerist admonition, we might all want to be better people, but we all take the most convenient options sometimes, are we quietly contributing to the downfall of humanity? It’s something to consider while you change the batteries in the TV remote and absent-mindedly caress your reversible sequined Nicholas Cage pillow.
The single comes alongside a plea for help to produce the physical format versions of the new album, as a band without evil corporate label backing, it can be difficult to manage the ongoing and upfront costs of keeping the band alive, so pre-sales are extremely helpful!
Along with CD and Vinyl versions of the album the band are also holding a very special intimate “Silicon Tea” Party on Sunday 5th October at Saltbox in Nottingham, featuring an album playback, an acoustic set and a chance to meet the band and some of their onstage pals, tickets are available exclusively through the Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/evilscarecrow/evil-scarecrow-silicon-tea-vinyl-and-cd-release

BIOGRAPHY
With his fluid phrasing, resonant tone, and expressive performances, one could believe Spencer Mackenzie was born on Beale Street. That, however, would be wrong. The lauded JUNO-nominated blues-rock artist hails from Southern Ontario and has steadily earned accolades, and the attention of blues aficionados from around the world. Leaving nothing behind when he steps to the stage, Mackenzie offers show goers a powerhouse performance, commanding his guitar with sophistication and prowess beyond his years.
For nearly a decade, Maple Blues Award winner Spencer Mackenzie has been writing and recording true blues, showcasing the raw emotion and honesty the genre demands. There’s a familiarity and ease with which he approaches the music, almost as though it flows through rather than from him. The energy of his work is infectious, permeating through the listener until they, too, feel the heartbeat of the blues.
Mackenzie’s high-energy, captivating performance is one that grabs the audience from the moment the first note is played. With numerous Canadian, European, and US shows performed, some of his most notable performances include the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Festival d’été de Quebec, Moulin Blues Ospel, Ribs & Blues Raalte and Kulturring Schöppingen Blues Festival alongside acts such as Walter Trout, Fantastic Negrito, Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton, just to name a few. With an electrifying presence and his new album on the horizon, this left-handed guitar slinger shows no signs of slowing down, delivering performances that leaves the audience buzzing long after the final note.
“The proof, as someone once said, is in the pudding, and Mackenzie is not only a mean guitarist with a throaty and surprisingly mature voice, but he has an obvious innate feel for the blues that some players spend a lifetime not connecting to.”
– Shane Pinnagar, 100 Percent Rock Magazine (US) “At 25, Spencer Mackenzie celebrates his first nomination at the Junos for his album Preach To My Soul. He seduces with his powerful voice and expressive guitar playing.” – Sors-Tu Festival d’été de Québec
“Spencer Mackenzie was compared to a young Joe Bonamassa during his introduction – putting undue pressure on him – but in many ways, the comparison fit: His voice is similarly bright and like Joe, Mackenzie’s guitar playing, drawing on the past legends of the blues genre, reveals him as a torchbearer.” – Vincent Abbate 30th Schöppingen International Blues Festival Schöppingen (Germany)
“This music will make you feel something, maybe even grab you and shove you up against the wall. This feels like the beginning of something big, maybe even huge.” – Gonzo Okanagan (Canada)
Empty Chairs is just that, the fusion of styles along with Spencer’s unique sound while simultaneously being influenced by the bold energy of renowned present-day blues rockers embodies this gritty, introspective style with electrifying guitar.
As previously mentioned, the new album is produced by Ross Hayes Citrullo, a 2X JUNO Award–nominee and Emmy Award winner. With a career defined by passion and creativity, Ross has earned multiple accolades for his work on albums that have topped charts and garnered millions of streams worldwide.
Citrullo’s distinctive approach to production blends artistry with technical mastery, bringing out the best in every project he touches. Now, Ross brings this wealth of experience and vision to this new album, infusing it with the same energy and dedication that has made his previous work celebrated worldwide.
“What we caught on this album is honesty and fire,” says Citrullo. “Spencer’s playing is fearless, his voice wide open, and every take breathes like a live show you don’t want to end. Producing it was about chasing moments you can’t fake—tone that tells the truth, stories that cut deep, and performances that live in the room. It’s the blues, lit up with a rock edge—hitting with modern bite and a timeless feel.”

ALBUM TRACK BY TRACK
1 – Empty Chairs A soulful blues rock song that expresses anger and frustration from the perspective of friends and families, who have lost innocent people they love due to gun violence. This can’t be the new normal! It’s got to change!
2 – Trip An upbeat, guitar heavy anthem for the people who just want to be noticed and for people who are crying and screaming trying to get out! Whether it’s a dream or reality, let’s go on a trip!
3 – What You Do When we say that we’re fine. Are we really? Or are we just trying to save others over ourselves? ‘What You Do’ is a high energy blues rock song that’s meant to bring your attention to the guessing game we all play.
4 – Don’t Know Where I’m Going A nod to one of the greatest guitar players to ever do it, this rendition of Gallagher’s acoustic blues folk number cranks up the volume and takes you down a road with deep, gritty guitar and an exciting fast rhythm section.
5 – Till I Get to You All the pressure you carry is lifted when you get to the one you love with this soulful acoustic style song about the person that is always there for you, understands you, gets you, and helps you through it all.
6 – Frozen Hearts This heavy blues rock song is a tribute to the victims of residential schools, who were taken from their way of life, family, culture and stripped of their identity. May the story of the ones who never made it home forever be heard and remind us to carry their memory with love and respect.
7 – Helping Hands In life there are people who only do something because it benefits them. Sometimes they are the closest to us. “Helping Hands” is a funky blues rock song about moving on from the person that thinks you need them, but they need you more than you need them!
8 – Why You can do the best job you can, but for someone who doesn’t know themselves, it often becomes a thankless job. “Why” is a sad song filled with soulful licks and harmonies that’s about doing everything right and getting hurt in return. You can solve all their problems just to be thrown out and left behind wondering why.
9 – Shoot Me Down How can you hold up both ends if you’re the only one? A relationship has two sides. This bare bones slide guitar song is about coming up with every idea for someone, them saying no, then never telling you what they really want. You can’t spend your life making up someone else’s mind if all they do is shoot you down.
10 – You Won’t Find Her It’s not you, it’s all me. We both know that’s a lie. This heavy riff driven blues rock song leaves you questioning how someone you once loved could go so wrong. You’re left confused, searching for answers, until you finally realize you’re better off without them.”
11 – Evil No matter how many people tell you to stay away or tell you, you’re wrong, sometimes we won’t listen, and we find out for ourselves. “Evil” is a song with a punchy rhythm section and an in-your-face guitar sound, that’s about learning how much someone can twist your mind or how blind love can really be.
Jimmy Kay from Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to Vocalist of Testament Chuck Billy about the bands upcoming new studio album, Para Bellum that will be released on Nuclear Blast on oct 10 , 2025
In the chat Billy talks about the writing and recording of the new songs as well as talks about Steve Zetro’s (Ex singer of Exodus) contributions.
When asked about the the album overall
“Once they all saw all the songs are written, it just came such a diverse collection of music riffs and lyrics where it just makes the record really flow and just has a nice, record that you can listen start to finish and just as it sound and feel the same. It’s one of those things where you’re always trying to outdo yourself every record and somehow we did it again. And the downside is when are we going to write a shitty record? It’s because we’re due to write a shitty record. It’s coming up. So, um but this one isn’t it yet. So, I’m just happy and looking forward to the fans to listen to it, check out because to me, this record sounds current. It sounds modern. It doesn’t sound like a band that’s been 40 years around rehashing the same riffs, going through the same motion, taking the easy route out. We’re still being challenged. We’re still getting creative after 40 years of making music, which is awesome. If we didn’t tour anymore, I would just be happy creating this new music. There’s just so much variety of riffs. Sometimes you might go, “Well, that’s not just Fast and Furious. Wow, that’s got some groove. That’s right. Or or whoa, what? That ripped. What is that? You know, it’s it’s And I was even the same way listening to it for the first time. So, for us to finally complete it, put it all together, it’s like, wow, man. Good job, Eric. Good job, Chris. I give them props because they worked very hard. Yeah. Chris Dovas, the new drummer for Testament. He took it to another level .”
When asked about the phrase Para Bellum and the meaning behind it
Para Bellum (meaning), ‘Prepare for War’ is such a current thing that’s going on in the whole world and it seemed to be more appropriate for this record especially with the artwork. I let Eric work on the art and we had a different title and it really didn’t fit (so when the song) Para Bellum was written and what it meant what it stood for you know it was just perfect for the fit for the album cover there is a it’s definitely a theme of war throughout a lot of the songs. “
When asked about the writing of the opening track ‘For the love of pain’
“Chris Dovas (new Drummer) wrote the lyrics to that. First time a new member has ever wrote lyrics for the band. And it’s funny because he just had some time on his hands one weekend and decided to write it and actually demo it up and sing it and sent it to us, just for fun. And we’re like, “Cool, right on, dude.” You know, he’s so into it. And I actually went and wrote the song (originally) with Steve Souza (Zetro). And when I got into the studio, it just didn’t feel right. So at that point, I said, “Hey, let’s put up Chris’ demo. Let’s have a listen to that. Pull up his lyrics and let’s have a listen.” So after we listened, I said, “You know what? let me have a shot at that and let me just put my two cents on it. And that’s what I did. I recorded it, gave it to Eric (Peterson), and then Eric took it one step further and in the little fast guitar black metal section, Eric decided to sing on that, which is right up his black metal vocal alley. So, it was kind of cool that again now me and Eric are sharing lead vocal lines on a song again, which works really well. And I know talking to a lot of people, their first impression when they heard the record and the first song, it’s like, “Wait a minute, is this New Testament? Did someone send me the wrong record? You know, but in the end, you know, it just sets the pace. Chris wrote it (the lyrics) and Chris’ wife um she works in I guess in the hospital but with law enforcement like when people are you know she has to see if they’re criminally insane. And him and her came up with the idea ‘For the love of pain’ just through her work and what she does.”
When asked if Zetro made any more contributions to the new album?
“Yeah, we wrote three songs, but only one of them made it (on the album). The other two I wrote but ended up re-writing them’
When asked about a social media post with him and Zetro working together and what it referenced
“It was like the next day that he got it might have been that day or the next day that he got the news that he was out of Exodus. So I said, “Okay.” Because me and Zet (Zetro) have been writing for a long time and I had to write lyrics. I said, “Zette, I know you’re not busy now, so I’m coming over. I got some lyrics to write, you know.” So yeah. ” (laughs)
When asked about the song High Noon
“That’s another one that we actually wrote with Zette that didn’t work in the studio and I just had this thing in my head something about a gunslinger. There was this line, you know, the life that a gunslinger lives and it just fit in the riff. And if that one line, I’m like, “Okay, I now I have this visual of this western and a a gunslinger walking the streets and sitting in a saloon drinking whiskey and just being challenged and challengers keep coming through those swinging doors all day long and all his he’s just drunk drinking defending his title.” And so I had this visual. So I go, “You know what? Hold on. Let me go home and I’m going to rewrite this thing.” And at first when I told Eric and everybody about the gunslinger, they’re like, “I don’t know, man. I don’t know if that’s going to work. That’s not very metal.” But it worked and it made sense and it felt like it was the right fit and it grew on everybody after that. Like, you know, that’s one of my favorites. So, it’s just weird the way that everything just kind of came together. “
When asked about the song ‘Witch hunt’
“Actually me and Zet wrote that song. Okay. This is one of the songs that me and Zette wrote that made it. Um it was you know Eric has working titles when he has riffs and that one had the working title of Witch Hunt. So instead of me and Zet just trying to figure out what we’re going to do in another topic, we said, , let’s just play off WITCH HUNT, but let’s take it as literally. A witch hunt with witches and burning them at the stake and stuff, but also let’s use the witch hunt like a political witch hunt. So we kind of tied the both of them together and made them both together. It worked really well because you can interpret it either way by listening to the lyrics. Yeah. But it was one of those that were just like fast and furious.”
When asked about his relationship with Zetro today
“He got me into the band and he is best friends with my younger brother and we go way back. When we toured with Exodus, me and him were the ones who are on the five mile walks every morning and we write really well together. We sit down and we don’t mess around. We get to work and we write songs to complete them. Maybe over the years I’ve gotten a little more confident in my own writing myself, but I like bouncing the ideas off somebody and I like having somebody else’s opinion because then it opens my mind.”
When Asked about the orchestrated ballad “Meant to be” and the rumours there would be a duet
” I was originally going to have a female vocalist sing with me on the choruses. Um, but that didn’t happen. We didn’t find the right one. So Eric just said, “Just you sing it. Let’s just leave it at that. Maybe down the road we could revisit it and maybe do a a re-release with a girl singing or do something. The song, reminded me like Return to Serenity(Song). just had that classic Testament guitar feel at the beginning, but then pushing it a little bit more, you know. At first I was a little nervous because it’s like an eight-minute song. I’m like, “Holy [ __ ] there’s going to be a lot of words on this song.” And um but in the end, you know, I found my place where I needed to sing and it was a really emotional song and I really wanted to set it up and and have the listener interpret it maybe like it’s a love song between two people, but in reality it’s actually a love song between humanity and the planet Earth. So if you go back and you listen to it, you’ll hear my little references about what we’re doing to our planet. But after everything that’s said and done, what we’ve do to this planet, mankind is going to still continue and evolve and we’re meant to be here.”
When asked about a USA/Canada tour in 2026
” We’re going over with Obituary, Destruction, and Nervosa to Europe 2025. And it’s called Clash Thrash of the Titans. So, we play Thursday at Aftershock in Sacramento, the festival, and then Friday, we fly to Europe, land Saturday, and start the tour Sunday. So, we’re trying to line something early 2026 (North America). So the agents are just hustling trying to put some stuff together. I think our goal is to spread out the touring because usually we just get maybe one American tour per record cycle and I don’t think that’s enough. So I really want to split it up and see if I can cover more ground and come back to the same places in one in one record cycle. Yeah. But we’ll see.”
