NECROFIER Unleash ‘Fires of the Apocalypse, Light My Path III’ Video / Single

“Fires Of The Apocalypse, Light My Path III” is the latest single from Houston, Texas-based black metal alchemists NECROFIER. The track comes by way of the band’s smoldering new full-length, Transcend Into Oblivion, set for release February 27th on Metal Blade Records.

Since 2018, NECROFIER has applied a spicy Texan intensity to the icy atmospheres of mid-’90s Norway and Transcend Into Oblivion deploys their modus operandi with more power, conviction, and ingenuity than ever before. Here NECROFIER crafts a modern classic of the form, where tempestuous squalls of extremity are punctuated by sinister, melancholic, otherworldly melodies, twinkling in the gloom like will-o’-the-wisps on a black night.

Of course, the USA has had a black metal scene since the early ’90s, developing in its own obscure, eccentric directions. But NECROFIER are among a gathering spearhead of US bands taking the genre’s ancient Scandinavian roots and replanting them on a wide American prairie. “Black metal in America has always been different than in Europe,” vocalist/guitarist Bakka asserts, “but I think there’s been a siren song in the US for this style of black metal to be created here. Something in the zeitgeist has pulled it forward, and bands like Uada, Hulder, Lamp of Murmuur, Blackbraid, and Cloak have all been really carrying the torch. Some of the reason is that America is starving when it comes to it; we rarely see European black metal tours. I think it created something where we and the others had to walk the left-hand path so we can have this in America.”

As is evinced by Transcend Into Oblivion‘s song titles, themes and lyrics are conceptually linked with the number three playing an especially significant role on this, their third LP, a three-act structure comprising three three-part suites, separated by three instrumentals. Notes Bakka, “Transcend Into Oblivion is based on a Luciferian Dark Night Of The Soul. ‘Fires Of The Apocalypse, Light My Path’ is the awakening. The first three songs are experiences and dreams that were happening as this change began, and I questioned everything I was doing. It starts feeling as though a new fire has been lit, but it grows dark as we venture into the second act, ‘Servants Of Darkness, Guide My Way.’ This is the struggle and torment that comes along with the awakening. Realizing things from the past are no longer true and you see the world in a different way, and it isn’t easy. This leads into Act III, ‘Horns Of Destruction, Lift My Blade.’ This is the rebirth or accession. You have been transformed; you are not who you were before. You see the world differently and you take what is yours.”

Of today’s single, “Fires Of The Apocalypse, Light My Path III,” Bakka further elaborates, “As you question everything you know to be true, life starts to become difficult. You start to realize that your new path is not without consequences and you will have to make changes because you already started the journey and there’s no going back.”

Transcend Into Oblivion was recorded at Southwing Studios and House Of Thorns in Houston, Texas, produced and engineered by Joel Hamilton with assistant engineering by Chris Kritikos, and mixed by Joel Hamilton at Studio G in Brooklyn, New York. One week after announcing their 15th studio album ONE, GRAMMY® Award–nominated metal icons SEVENDUST return with their first new music of 2026, releasing the powerful new single “Is This The Real You.” The track showcases the unmistakable sound that has propelled the band to the top of rock radio throughout their career.

Comprised of Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums), SEVENDUST once again deliver a driving, emotionally charged anthem that blends aggression, melody, and authenticity. “Is This The Real You” is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

“It was as honest, natural, and pure as any song can be. If you really want to know what Sevendust sounds like in 2026, ‘Is This The Real You?’ gives you a good idea,” SEVENDUST guitarist John Connolly explains.

The accompanying music video, directed by Paul Ribera, further highlights SEVENDUST‘s  ability to captivate through striking visuals. The animated clip follows a sharply dressed character who possesses the power to compel people into actions they wouldn’t normally take. As the story unfolds, each character is confronted with a hidden side of themselves, mirroring Witherspoon’s haunting chorus question: “Is this the real you?” The video transitions panel by panel with dramatic zooms, building toward a dark, devilish finale.

Building on their unmistakable sound while continuing to evolve, ONE proves why SEVENDUST remain a vital force nearly three decades into their career. From the driving opening riff of the title track “One” to the dreamy, atmospheric vocal outro of “Misdirection,” the album takes listeners on an emotional journey that only SEVENDUST can deliver. Tracks such as “Unbreakable” and “We Won” stand confidently alongside the band’s most iconic material.

ONE arrives May 1st via Napalm Records and the album is available for pre-order in multiple configurations including digital downloads now.

About SEVENDUST:
For over three decades, SEVENDUST have made countless fans feel a part of something special. The group’s community isn’t passive. Members of the “7D Army” make a very active commitment to being part of this family—as evinced by sold-out shows worldwide and innumerable tattoos of the band’s logo and lyrics. Since 1994, the iconic Atlanta quintet have quietly built a legacy without parallel, encompassing sales of nearly eight million albums, a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Metal Performance,” three Top 15 entries on the Billboard 200, hundreds of millions of streams, and the fierce loyalty of millions of listeners in every corner of the globe. Along the way, they’ve shined as an outlier equally comfortable on tracks with either members of Deftones, Creed, and Periphery or Xzibit and Daughtry. V13 spotlighted it with a cover story, Consequence hailed the music as “hard-hitting,” and Guitar World marveled at how, “more than 25 years after releasing their gold-selling self-titled debut, SEVENDUST’s music still has plenty of bite.” Speaking to their longevity, they notably notched their biggest radio success to date with “Everything” in 2024, netting a career-high entry on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. However, the guys really delivered for their diehard base with 2026’s ONE (Napalm Records). SEVENDUST’s 15th full-length LP forges ten simultaneously lean and gut-punching tracks out of gargantuan riffs, seismic grooves, and signature soul-stirring hooks. Rallying together around a common goal as bandmates and brothers, Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (lead guitar, backing vocals), John Connolly (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums) have crafted a body of work that both day-one devotees and new fans alike can hold onto forever.

THERION Reveal Live Video for ‘The Ruler of Tamag’

Symphonic metal pioneers THERION reveal a live video for “The Ruler of Tamag”, ahead of the release of their highly anticipated live album Con Orquesta, dropping as a physical release this Friday, January 30, 2026, via Napalm Records! Originally released on the band’s latest album Leviathan III (2023), “The Ruler of Tamag” has been impactfully reimagined in collaboration with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México.

17 years after their last monumental orchestral concerts in Romania (2006) and Hungary (2007), THERION made history in 2024 by playing their first arena show, performing live with a full orchestra to an audience of 11,000 fans at Mexico City Arena. Con Orquestra captivates this powerful performance and is available to pre-order as a physical live album and on DVD/BluRay. Check the live video for “The Ruler of Tamag” below and secure your copy of Con Orquesta now – act fast, as the first format is already sold out!

Christofer Johnsson on “The Ruler of Tamag”:
“‘Ruler of Tamag’ is the strongest track on our latest release and this song was pretty much made for performing with an orchestra. And it was also musically one of the best performances of that mighty evening in Mexico. For me personally it is also one of the tracks I enjoy the most to play live.”

Christofer Johnsson about Con Orquesta:
“In the past, our concept was more like THERION going classical, with the band and the symphonic orchestra meeting on an equal basis. Thus, we did a fully orchestral version of one song and it was divided almost 50/50 between playing THERION songs and classical excerpts being rearranged for band and orchestra. This time, however, I wanted to take a different approach. I invited a renowned conductor and composer from Mexico to reinterpret our songs by adding new arrangements and expanding the originals with the orchestra. They also wrote some new intros and small interludes, making this a truly authentic Mexican interpretation of THERION live with orchestra.”

Pre-order your copy of Con Orquesta HERE

After the two European experiences, THERION mastermind Christofer Johnsson was uncertain whether he would ever bring another orchestra live project back to life. In the end, his decision proved more than worthwhile. Together with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México, the band delivered an incomparable symphonic metal spectacle, enriching classics with new arrangements and expanding their sonic universe in grand, orchestral style.

The Con Orquesta setlist spans THERION’s illustrious career with 20 tracks in total, blending fan favorites, symphonic epics, and rare gems. As a bonus, it also features exclusive rehearsal material. From powerful classics like “The Blood of Kingu”, “To Mega Therion” and “The Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah” to emotional highlights such as “The Birth of Venus Illegitima”, “Siren of the Woods”, and “Lemuria”, the performance bridges eras of the band’s history. Unique inclusions like the Marie Laforêt cover “Mon Amour mon Ami” and Sylvie Vartan cover “La Maritza” showcase THERION’s genre-defying artistry, while the massive “Draconian Trilogy” and “Via Nocturna” unfold with new orchestral grandeur. Con Orquesta marks a celebration of the THERION universe proving once more why they remain the undisputed pioneers of symphonic metal. A must-have for every fan and collector!

DIVINE CHAOS Release Crushing New Single + Video ‘Condemned To The Void’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 29, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: DIVINE CHAOS. Leave a comment

DIVINE CHAOS release their crushing new single ‘CONDEMNED TO THE VOID’. Taken from their forthcoming album ‘HATE REACTOR’, out 27th March.

Pre-order the album and stream the single: https://divinechaosmetal.com/condemned-to-the-void-single-album-pre-order

‘Condemned to the Void is a stream-of-consciousness study of grief in real time, written and
recorded in the aftermath of genuine personal tragedy and loss. Part lament, part salute to the
honoured fallen, the track builds to a theme of hopeful determination to move forward with respect to
the departed and in appreciation of those who remain.”  –
Divine Chaos

From their debut release “Every Empire Shall Fall”, Divine Chaos carved out a distinctive identity, an unrelenting 7-string thrash assault that drew from the riff-driven roots of the ‘80s while absorbing the aggression and technicality of the modern era. Guitarists Chris O’Toole and Matt Gilmour cemented the band’s reputation for razor-sharp precision, propelling them to global stages and high-profile festival slots including Bloodstock Open Air.

Building momentum, the band unleashed their first full-length album “A New Dawn in the Age of War” with producer Scott Atkins, pushing technical boundaries and expanding their creative scope while staying firmly rooted in thrash. The release received widespread acclaim, earning full-page features across the UK metal press, from Metal Hammer to The Guardian and seeing its lead single “Fields of the Fallen” amass more than 96,000 views. Subsequent tours with metal icons such as Mantas & Abandon (Venom Inc) and Gama Bomb, plus festival appearances at Metal Mine, Gothoom, and additional Bloodstock slots, further solidified the band’s ascent.

After time away from the studio, Divine Chaos returned reinvigorated with new vocalist Jut Tabor (Furyborn/Metaprism), whose pitched vocals and sharpened aggression made their mark on “The Way To Oblivion”. Joining him was bassist Craig Daws (Sacred Mother Tongue, Andy James), completing the lineup that powered a triumphant main stage comeback at Bloodstock 2021. Singles “Murder For Sale”, featured on Spotify’s Thrashers playlist and “Serpent’s Words,” which surpassed 108,000 streams, reignited demand from both veterans of the DC fanbase and new listeners from the UK live circuit, where they reunited with audiences during their support run with Evile in 2022.

Now, with “Hate Reactor”, Divine Chaos refine and elevate every facet of their sound. Returning to work with producer Scott Atkins, where they spent a month sculpting their best work to date. After the band and Atkins were finished producing the record, they sent the album on to Chris Clancy [Machine Head, Architects + more], to mix and master. The band credit both Atkins and Clancy for their valuable input on “Hate Reactor”.

The album showcases heightened focus, devastating hooks, and a richer vocal landscape, all while preserving the band’s foundational ethos. It is a fierce, sharpened statement from a group who continue to push the boundaries of modern thrash while honouring the genre’s legacy.

Band Members:
JUT TABOR – VOCALS
MATT GILMOUR – GUITAR
CHRIS O’TOOLE – GUITAR
CRAIG DAWS – BASS
MARIUSZ MARECKI – DRUMS

Argonauta Records is proud to announce the signing of one of the most revered names in atmospheric doom metal, Pantheist. With a career spanning over two decades, the band is set to release a brand-new album later this year, marking a thrilling new chapter in their storied journey.

Pantheist commented: “Pantheist are proud to be joining the crew of Argonauta Records. Navigating the music industry alone has been challenging, but now we have found the right partner to sail alongside. This collaboration will allow us to fully focus on our creative vision, including the release of a double-vinyl album later this year. We look forward to working with Argonauta and beginning this new chapter together.”

Formed in 2000, Pantheist have established themselves as one of the standard bearers of atmospheric funeral doom. With six full-length albums and over 100 live performances across 15 countries, they have shared stages with Tiamat, Arcturus, Saturnus, Esoteric, Skepticism, While Heaven Wept, Mourning Beloveth, Evoken and The Ruins of Beverast. Their seminal debut, O Solitude, remains a benchmark in the genre and a fan favorite on streaming platforms.

Having recently welcomed professional soprano Linda Dumitru to the lineup, Pantheist are currently recording their seventh studio album, promising an expansive, immersive listening experience that will captivate longtime fans and newcomers alike. The album is expected for release in Autumn 2026, with bookings already underway for performances throughout 2026 and 2027, including appearances at NorthWest Doom Fest (UK) and Symphonic Metal Echoes (Romania).

This partnership with Argonauta Records marks a new era for Pantheist, combining the band’s visionary artistry with the label’s global reach and support network. Fans can look forward to an outstanding, atmospheric journey in 2026 as Pantheist set sail into uncharted sonic territories.
