PLUM returns with their deeply moving new single, Reach Out, accompanied by a haunting and visually striking music video. The release marks a bold and introspective chapter for the band, blending raw emotional honesty with themes of spiritual longing and personal redemption.
 
Reach Out is a reflective and emotionally charged track that delves into the experience of losing one’s way, confronting past mistakes, and ultimately finding a path back through faith, connection, and surrender. With two voices that mirror one another in confession and support, the song captures a delicate balance between regret and hope. Milwaukee Metal Festival 2026 is pleased to now announce the long-anticipated return of USBM legends NACHTMYSTIUM, who will be playing two special sets at this year’s edition! The band will be performing 2006’s ‘Instinct: Decay’ in it’s entirety on Saturday, June 6, to celebrate the 20th anniversary and will perform a best of set comprised of new and old tunes alike on Sunday, June 7.

That’s not all as the festival is also now welcoming EMMURE to the pre-party, which will take place on June 4. EMMURE now joins JASTA AND FRIENDS, which features Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED), Trevor Peres (OBITUARY), and Devin Swank (SANGUISUGABOGG) and support from BONGINATOR, GASKET, and TORN OPEN. Fans can get access to the Thursday pre-party on June 4 for FREE with the purchase of a 3-day festival pass to MILWAUKEE METAL FEST.

GREAT WHITE Alumni TONY CARDENAS-MONTANA Wants to Talk to You about Hangover Sex

Shadow & The Thrill, the modern blues infused, groove laden, hook filled melodic rockers launched by Tony Cardenas-Montana in 2018, continue working on the follow-up to their acclaimed debut album Sugarbowl.  In the meantime, the slow-drip release of singles from the work-in-progress continues, as last summer’s “Supermodel,” is succeeded today by the stunning “Hangover Sex.”

Because, while Tony admits that S&TT’s “future is largely dictated by the past of the man behind the band” (i.e.: himself! Great White casts a vast shadow), he is not afraid to challenge those expectations.

“This one’s gonna hurt.  In a good way”, he says of the song.  “While somewhat autobiographical, it is a track most of us can relate to – that otherworldly, punishing feeling the morning after a wild adventure involving questionable substances and even more questionable actions. 

“The lyrics define a raucous evening with a potentially salacious outcome, when reality steps in, motives are put in check, and intimacy is more than the act itself.”

He continues, “I’m excited to get this one exposed to everyone. The spirit of this track has stayed intact since its inception.  Through multiple personnel changes, and multiple attempts to track in the studio, the song survived and thrived to the end.  The vibe is alive!”

Tony’s career has spanned decades and has garnered him a Grammy Nomination, numerous certified RIAA multi-platinum and gold awards, Billboard charting credits as both a writer and musician, and world tours and performances alongside Slash, Dee Snider, and members of KISS, Def Leppard, Whitesnake and Mötley Crüe.

And Shadow & The Thrill are destined to continue that streak – rockandbluesmuse.com described Sugarbowl as being “as good or better than the greats of old… a killer project from… multi-dimensional musicians who have their take on rock music fully locked down.”

Frontiers Records is thrilled to unleash a powerful rendition of the renowned Journey’s song “Separate Ways”, featuring Chilean vocalist James Robledo (Robledo, Sinner’s Blood).

WARREN HAYNES Reveals Live Version of ‘Banks Of The Deep End’ with 64-Piece Asheville Symphony Orchestra

Southern roots-rock alumni Warren Haynes has revealed a sweepingly majestic version of the Gov’t Mule favourite, ‘Banks Of The Deep End.’ The song is released on Provogue/Artone, and you can listen to it HERE. The track is taken from his upcoming new live album Dreams & Songs, with more information on the release to follow.

It is taken from 2019’s one-of-a-kind concert at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, capturing the thrilling collision between Haynes’ lineup of seasoned rock ‘n’ roll improvisers and the 64-piece Asheville Symphony Orchestra.

The original studio version was released on the 2001 Gov’t Mule album, The Deep End, Volume 1 – the first album the band made without bassist Allen Woody, who sadly passed away the year before. The song has gone on to connect with fans of the band worldwide.
 
 
Talking about the song, Haynes affirms, “Banks Of The Deep End has become a favourite among Mule fans. It’s one of the songs that we probably play more than any other, and although it doesn’t vary as much on a nightly basis as some of the other tunes, it somehow takes on its own personality just based on the song itself, the lyric and the uniqueness of the chord structure and the melody. Playing it with a symphony just emphasises all the dramatic and dynamic changes that the song presents, and it’s wonderful hearing it in that light.”

Warren Haynes has made a career of defying expectations. For more than three decades, this Grammy-winning US bandleader and roots master has outrun genre, classification and comfort zone, journeying between the acclaimed solo work with his own name on the marquee, his storied jam-band Gov’t Mule, and America’s fabled rock ‘n’ roll institutions from the Allman Brothers Band to the Grateful Dead.
