Finnish melodic death metal band Bloody Moon is set to release their second studio album ‘Lost & Damned’ on October 31st 2025 via Inverse Records. The third single ‘I’ll Torn ‘Em Apart’ is unleashed today and music video is available below.

“I’ll Torn ‘Em Apart” is one of the first songs we composed for the upcoming album. It’s arguably the most intense track on the record, both musically and lyrically—the title alone speaks of tearing things to pieces. The lyrics capture that extreme rush of adrenaline you can only experience while performing live on stage.

Bassist Nisse Nurminen shares:
“This one’s never boring to play—there’s definitely no shortage of energy. Also, the track features a 5-string bass on the album, which we used to bring more depth to the song. We spent a while searching for the right bass tone, and once we found it, I was finally able to lay down the take.”

Eclipse Records is thrilled to announce the signing of BLOSSOMS FALL, a metalcore band from Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA) who own the sweet spot of our sonic zone with an enormous guitar sound and ferocious growl vocals! The band recently finished recording their debut EP entitled La Alma with Matt Torres of Nightscape Recordings (Lights on the Coast, Wasted Potency) producing the album, and mastered by Kevin Thrasher (Escape the Fate, Machine Gun Kelly, Blink-182, Avril Lavigne) at Thrasher Productions. La Alma will be released via Eclipse Records on February 6, 2026.

“Having met some members of Mushroomhead while recording an EP with Producer/Engineer Don DeBiase back in 2014 and opening for the band Bobaflex around that time as well, I’ve often heard of Eclipse Records and appreciated the label’s contribution to the Metal scene.” says guitarist Matt Torres. “Now that my new band can debut with Eclipse Records, I’m ecstatic to become part of the ongoing front and hope to make an impact on the Modern Metal scene. This record is different, but it will hopefully open up doors to a wider audience and bridge gaps in the industry.” Vocalist Shay Raelynn adds “I’m very grateful for this opportunity. Eclipse Records has an amazing roster and I am so happy to be a part of it. The excitement is real for the opportunities that may be presented while working with them, and it’s going to be a great time!” Dion Elliott (drums) also adds “We’re very excited to be a part of Eclipse Records. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be among such amazing artists on an independent label with creative freedom. This is gonna be a blast!”

The new album La Alma by Blossoms Fall is metalcore, but so much more than the current genre classification would indicate. Genre is a moniker, a nickname if you will, and in terms of La Alma, we could thrust a slew of “warriors” into the ring for this fight, like hyper pop, emo core, or modern metalcore with a trance vibe. We could claim that Blossoms Fall create music that resembles a good thriller soundtrack in that they lead our emotions one way, and then they twist us into unexpected contexts, causing glorious disequilibrium and life changing interpretations of our own emotional and psychological landscapes. In other words, this album is a blast of beautiful chaos leading us to the edge of the cliff yet giving us wings…to the lip of the abyss armed with a blazing torch and a backbone of granite. Musically, the first thing we might notice is that drums are absolute thunder, produced to be a force in the forefront and earning its position with monster fills even in the verses. The guitar work is heavy with maximum crunch, like a fiery blast from the jaws of the dragon, the bass a “wall of pound” and the vocals cleverly patterned with textured growls and melodic tapestries. We are also given flashes of ethereal keys and tasty syncopation, demonstrating the band’s ability to not only show force but to add a flavor profile unique, devasting, and addictive as hell. La Alma was produced and mixed by Matthew Torres (Lights on the Coast, Cloudtrails, and Wasted Potency), mastered by Kevin Thrasher (MGK, Blink 182, Escape the Fate, and Iann Dior). The album art was designed by Luis Escalara of Adelphia Studios, and it is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026.

TUOMAS ROUNAKARI Announces Special Events for This Autumn

Renowned Finnish violinist, composer, and ethnomusicologist TUOMAS ROUNAKARI has announced his special events for this autumn!

Tuomas shared:

Dear friends!
I’ve had one of the best summers, sailing, spending time alone in the open sea, playing and performing out in the nature. Between July 15th and Aug 31st, all my performances took place outdoors, in the forests and on the rivers. Last but not least, I performed together with a legendary singer Sainkho Namtchylak from Tuva, and now we are planning an album together! And I can’t thank you enough, who came to see us perform with Yasuharu Takanashi’s Far East Groove for the very first time in Helsinki, Cartagena and Milano.

But now for the future! Most special events are taking place in the Czech Republic this November!

I will give my first full evening solo concert in Czech Republic in years. And what a location!
The concert will take place in Ostrava, 6th of November at the Dul Michal, an old coal-mine turned into a museum, with an incredible space for concerts. The tickets are coming to sale soon! The hall fits approx 200 people.

Before the concert we are doing a 4-day retreat on laments with Alexandra Derwen from Nov 1st to November 4th in the beautiful Paběnický mlýn. The retreat is called The Alchemy of lament – a Pathway to liberation. Our guiding philosophy comes from C.G.Jung’s observation on how our greatest treasures lie next to our deepest wounds. Lament can be a portal, from fear and pain, towards our highest potential and purpose in life.

Places are limited and booking has started. Half of the spots are already filled! For more info and registration, go to: https://www.ksmrtidobryfestival.cz/the-alchemy-of-lament/

And that’s not all for Czech!

From Nov 7th to 9th, together with Alexandra, we will be hosting opening and closing ceremonies for the festival K Smrti Dobry Festival in Ostrava. I will also give a lecture, small concert and a workshop there.

K Smrti Dobry Festival is a unique festival about death, where death is not a taboo, but it is bringing more closeness of hearts. It is a celebration of death and death doulas, hospice workers and all that are experiencing loss through the dying. This festival is about care, difficult farewells, importance of presence, emotions that can’t be bypassed and gratitude to life. Seeing death as a teacher.

Find out more in here: https://www.ksmrtidobryfestival.cz/

Later in November, laments, animism and eco-spirituality are taking me back to Denmark. This time to Aalborg University. Hosting a lecture and workshop here:

Lamenting the Planet: Grief, Art, and Care in a Time of Ecological Crisis: https://www.ssh.aau.dk/lamenting-the-planet-grief-art-and-care-in-a-time-of-ecological-crisis-e143554

Before all this, I will be performing in Pakanafestarit – Paganfest, in Espoo, Finland on October 11th! There too, a lecture and workshop on laments will take place alongside my solo concert!

And for those who can still digest more info, The Bear Awakens retreat in Wales (UK) is happening again on March 20th to 22nd (3 nights) at the gorgeous Ty Sanctaidd ceremony space at Trefacwn. I’m so grateful that this retreat has become an annual tradition!

Although it is next year, the places are already going. For more info and registering contact Alexandra Derwen at sacredcirclecic@gmail.com

Hope to see you all somewhere down the road! Another newsletter on the spring 2026 concerts and workshops will arrive in about a month.

Wishing the very best for all of you!
Tuomas

More information on Tuomas:

Tuomas Rounakari is a Finnish violinist, composer, and ethnomusicologist known for his trance-inducing solo performances that blend violin, vocals, stomping, and ankle bells into a visceral one-man ritual. A former member of Korpiklaani (2012–2022) and collaborator in Yasuharu Takanashi’s Far East Groove, Tuomas also plays the traditional Khanty bowed instrument Ning-juh.

His doctoral research (2024) focuses on altered states of consciousness through music—a phenomenon tied to sacred song traditions worldwide. This inquiry informs his performance style, which often crosses into trance and ceremony.

Tuomas draws inspiration from dialogues between humanity and nature, the visible and invisible, the ancient and the future. His debut solo album Shamanviolin was born from studying early 20th-century wax-cylinder recordings from Siberia. Performing these songs with the Indigenous communities from which they originated led to long-term collaborations with Khanty, Mansi, Sámi, and Greenlandic artists.

With over 30 albums to his name—including two solo records and four with Korpiklaani (over 34 million Spotify streams annually)—his work spans folk, metal, blues, free jazz, and avant-garde electroacoustic soundscapes.

His latest solo album, Bear Awakener (2022), is a sonic invocation, an awakening of the wild spirit within. Each track stirs ancient memory, calling forth the slumbering forces of nature, myth, and spirit.
The album centers on bear-related ceremonial songs from Khanty, Mansi, Carelian, and Finnish traditions. These songs carry the resonance of ancestors who lived in deep, reciprocal relationships with the land—cultures rooted in sustainability, self-sufficiency, and sacred balance. For Tuomas, they are living teachings, not just songs.
Rooted in ancestral songlines and shaped by trance, Bear Awakener invites listeners into deeper dialogue with the unseen, the more-than-human, and the mythic. It is a reawakening of spirit and a reconnection to something older than memory, yet urgently needed in our time.

The mighty Gods of Tomorrow are back with their latest sonic assault, “Rise of an Empire.” This track hits like a battle cry forged in fire and forged to last. Fueled by crushing heavy riffs and an anthemic chorus, the song captures the fierce inner struggle as well as the defiant fight against the pressures of an unforgiving world.

Taken from their recently released album Gods Of Tomorrow via Wormholedeath, this track exemplifies the band’s signature sound: a perfect fusion of melodic hard rock and precise metal energy that hits hard and lingers long after the last note fades.

FLAGELO to Release Debut EP “Insaciable” on October 31st

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 24, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: FLAGELO. Leave a comment

Colombian black/death/grind force FLAGELO will see their ferocious debut EP “Insaciable” released worldwide on October 31st, 2025, through Nuclear Winter Records (CD and LP) and Night Terrors Records (MC).

Originally self-released by the band earlier this year, the record quickly carved its place as a raw and unrelenting slab of extreme metal. With its suffocating mix of grinding speed, cavernous doom and blackened atmosphere, “Insaciable” captures the essence of FLAGELO’s vision: primitive yet inventive, violent yet textured. Now given a full-scale release, the EP promises to drag a wider audience into the group’s vortex of visceral aggression, menacing soundscapes, and apocalyptic rage.

Tracklist:

1. Insaciable
2. Viral
3. Rey de Nada
4. Historia Animal
5. Eslabón

Hailing from Colombia, with members from a handful of projects from Cali’s ripe underground, purveyors of grinding black death FLAGELO began activities in 2022 as an exercise in visceral aggression and menacing atmosphere.

Their first collection of songs released in 2025 titled ”Insaciable” is a living, breathing slab of extreme sounds spanning blackened death, doom and grindcore. Melding inventive and atmospheric ideas into a primitive and straightforward approach that retains vile power and weight. All the while a barrage of bellowing voices and shrieks hurls misanthropic curses onto a self-annihilating world.

Ambitious and forward-looking, FLAGELO are already preparing the next chapter in their assault on the underground. With new material in the works and a confirmed slot at the 2026 edition of the Total Death Over Mexico Festival, the future looks certain to bring even more devastation.

FFO: Knelt Rote, Black Curse, Dead Congregation, Caustic Wound, Verberis

Line-up:

Francisco Gallego – Vocals
Sebastián Osorio – Vocals, Guitars
Miguel Méndez – Vocals, Guitars
Luis Miguel Cuartas – Bass

THE DEVIL’S TRADE Stream New Single ‘The Sleep That Dragged You Away’

Acclaimed post-doom artist The Devil’s Trade has unveiled ‘The Sleep That Dragged You Away’, the powerful new single taken from his new album Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép, out 7th November via Pelagic Records.

Pre-order Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép here: https://orcd.co/thedevilstrade

The Devil’s Trade mastermind Dávid Makó comments: “‘The Sleep That Dragged You Away’ is the hardest and therefore the most liberating song of my life so far. It was my first experience of failure as a songwriter and singer. The writing process itself was a near nervous breakdown experience, and then I completely broke down during the recording. I had to withdraw and seriously consider the possibility of giving up. This song is closely connected to the prophecy in ‘Dear Mother’, heard on Those Miles…, which was released eleven years ago. It deals with one of the most defining childhood traumas of my life and the most defining trauma of my adult life so far. It has become a real cliché that music can have a therapeutic effect, and I usually avoid that term, but in this case, it is a truly cathartic processing every time I listen to or perform it.”

Catch The Devil’s Trade live:
07.10.25 – Pécs (HU)
22.10.26 – Album Release Show Budapest (HU)

Tracklisting:

1. The Sleep That Dragged You Away
2. Weltschmerz
3. All This Sadness
4. All This Sadness Will Be Gone
5. Your Pieces Scattered
6. Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép
7. Idegen Minden

Dávid Makó began The Devil’s Trade in 2014. His early solo work, often performed with only an acoustic guitar or banjo, quickly garnered attention for its emotional depth and stark beauty. Drawing on Appalachian folk, dark Americana, and Hungarian folk traditions, Makó‘s music has been praised for its haunting vocals, minimalist arrangements, and profound emotional honesty. Recently, and especially in this new release, elements of post-metal and doom have taken Makó‘s sound into new, exciting territory, whilst retaining his unique intimacy.

Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép, translated as “there is no uncontaminated beauty”, is a record forged in grief and the unflinching confession. Fans of The Devil’s Trade will immediately recognise Makó’s signature elements: the deep, rugged baritone, the uncanny ability to transmit raw emotion and melodies drenched in melancholia. With his fifth studio album however, Makó reclaims the heaviness of his early years, pushing his sound into new, atmospheric territory. “Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép is much darker and heavier and more complex than anything I have done”, says Makó.

Working within a larger, more dynamic canvas, Makó‘s confessional power is met with metal-wrought anguish, reborn as an intimate, haunting journey toward authenticity. Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép is an elegy to his late mother. “Between the death of my mother and the birth of my son we only had two weeks” explains Makó, and this complexity of emotion is felt in every beat and breath of the album. Survival, suffering, isolation, the endless human turmoil that hangs over our shared and personal grief. All this is expressed defiantly, through a voice that is devastatingly vulnerable and resilient.

While The Devil’s Trade remains a deeply personal, largely self-driven project, Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép also reflects the input of key collaborators. “Just like with (previous album) Vidékek vannak idebenn, my old friend Gaspar Binder helped me write and record the drums and I wrote and played everything else. Szabolcs Szűcs, our local legend engineered the album and my best friend Márton Szabó helped us as a producer, or I love to use the term: musical conscience. This time I dared to ask another friend of mine, Nikita Kampard (Der Weg Einer Freiheit) to be the mastering engineer and it makes me so grateful that he said yes”, states Makó.

Nincs Szennyezetlen Szép is not an easy listen, nor was it meant to be. It is a sincerely painful document of mourning and the myriad of emotions that grip us, from bitter rage to catatonic sadness. It is a testament to the resilience found in surviving and continuing through all, a reminder that “there is no uncontaminated beauty”.

Line-up:
Dávid Makó – vocals, guitar, keyboard
Gaspar Binder – drums
