Ghost Punk/Goth Garage Band HAUNTEES Released Debut Album “Shadows Forming”

Helsinki-based ghost punk and goth garage band Hauntees have released their debut album Shadows Forming. Dark and brooding, the record plays like the soundtrack to a road trip across a desert. Along the way, you stop at smoky saloons and pass abandoned gravestones. The sound carries the bitter dust and shimmering heat of sun-scorched sand dunes.

Seasoned with melancholy and minimalism, the songs on Shadows Forming range from cinematic instrumental music (Phantom Road) to stripped-down spellbinding blues (Spell) and ‘80s synth-tinged dance punk (Self-Defense). The album also features a hauntingly peculiar Misfits cover (London Dungeon).

Hauntees’ debut album is a powerful entrance — this band is here to stay.

“Hauntees is not a hobby, a job, or a voluntary choice for us. It’s something we simply have to do,” the band states without a trace of sarcasm.

“The album sounds perfect, even though we were a bit nervous about it,” the band explains. “It was recorded and mixed multiple times in different locations by Ville-Matti Koskiniemi and Miikka Sipilä. As a final touch, we had it mastered by American engineer Taylor Deupree, whose work ties the whole album together beautifully despite the diversity of songs, arrangements, and moods.”

Three support shows with Toody Cole & Her Band have been confirmed in Hauntees’ post-release tour schedule. The legendary Dead Moon founding member will tour with her band at the turn of May and June, performing in three cities in Finland.

Although Hauntees was formed in 2024, its members have deep roots in the Helsinki garage rock scene. Their musical history includes bands such as The Patsy Walkers, Borderline, Charm Bags, Goo-Hags, and Lariots.

The album’s opening track All Over Again, released as a single in January, has also gained attention in several international media outlets and received radio airplay on shows such as the UK-based The Autopsy Report Rock & Metal Radio Show, California’s Punk Rock Demonstration, Florida’s Sonic Scout Radio, and Georgia-based indie station  OTAT 24/7 in the United States.

Shadows Forming is available on digital streaming platforms as well as on vinyl, which can be ordered, for example, from Record Shop X.

AVERSIO HUMANITATIS Reveal Details of New Album “To Become the Endless Static”, Video for Title Track Out Now

Cover artwork designed by Alex Moreán.

Madrid’s AVERSIO HUMANITATIS follow-up 2020’s white-hot “Behold the Silent Dwellers” with another stunning slice of unrelenting, modernist and oft-dissonant Black Metal. Third full-length “To Become the Endless Static” finds the band teeth-clenched, razor-sharp, galvanised with self-belief and fortified by a characteristically immaculate production from the band’s own Simón Da Silva (CANCER, MARTRÖÐ, SELBST).

Tracklist:

01. Long Stretch the Shadows
02. To Become the Endless Static
03. Blackened Mold Marrow
04. Strange Angles
05. The White Noise is Calling
06. Collapsing into the Resonance

Guitarist, songwriter and producer Simón comments on “To Become the Endless Static“:

“The songwriting process for this album was certainly arduous. I can’t say it was something fluid; so many riffs and almost full songs were thrown into the trash in the process. Some songs came out very naturally, while others were much harder to shape. I guess it’s always like that, but at some points I felt a bit lost and kind of hating the album, I may have become too obsessed with certain expectations or with an idea of what the album “had to” be, instead of simply letting things take their own course, which is what finally happened in the end. Now I can say I fucking love it.

Half of the songs were composed by me at home or in the studio. For the other half, I brought several structural riff ideas that we later developed together in the rehearsal space. The lyrics were also shaped there, as Alex has an amazing ability to write on the spot.“

Check the title track including a fitting video clip for a first glimpse into the forthcoming album on DMP’s YouTube channel – a relentless exploration of psychological erosion and collapsing identity, forged with crushing precision.

Vocalist & bassist Alex states about song and video:

“We chose this song because we feel it’s the most representative of both the lyrical concepts of the album and the compositional formulas you can find in it. This track, which gives the title to our new work, was the second one to be composed back in 2021 and though it has been a slow-burn process that evolved through the years we feel it is the most fitting one to be unveiled first.

This album explores ideas of physical and mental degradation, of loss and grieving both from an external point of view and from a person going through it. Aesthetically I felt the analogue quality of a lost and degraded signal, the texture of an imperfect reproduction of something that has been remembered many times until it starts fluttering and fading perfectly encapsulates this concept. From the technical point of view this is also mirrored. I started with a perfect image captured with modern cameras and edited it as a regular music video. After having a clean version of said video I began an arduous process of running it through a signal chain of visual synthesizers, analogue glitch generators and CRT screens which then were recaptured and re-processed many more times, finally landing on what you can see as the final product. This way the signal, a collection of perfect memories, disintegrates and becomes the endless static around us.“

“To Become The Endless Static” will be released on CD and vinyl (including an exclusive DMP vinyl edition), a special t-shirt design will also be available. Pre-orders are possible via DMP’s EU, US and Bandcamp shops.

Since their conception in Madrid in 2010, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS have meticulously crafted their sound to build a colossal barrier of crushing rawness that explores the different ramifications of human existence and the irony of its destructive pursuit of perfection.

After the 2011 unveiling of their debut record “Abandonment Ritual“, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS took part in the split “Three Ways Of Consciousness” in 2013 alongside SELBST and NIHIL, as well as a split with PRIMIGENIUM in 2015, exploring harsh new levels of sonic depth with each release. 2017 saw the band unleash their landmark EP “Longing For The Untold“, further evolving and pushing the boundaries of their sound with savage dissonance and the inclusion of sepulchral Death Metal stylings while fluidly summating all that came before.

Coinciding with their tenth anniversary in 2020, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS delivered their second full-length album “Behold the Silent Dwellers“. Taking the sound of the antecedent EP to a more distressing and intricate sensory cosmos, “Behold the Silent Dwellers” walks through the ghostly remnants of abandoned cityscapes via unrelenting dissonant Black Metal.

In 2021, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS released digital live album “Silent Dwellers – MMXX“, capturing the raw intensity of their compositions in a live setting at Estudio Uno. A limited vinyl reissue of the band’s EP “Longing For The Untold” followed in 2022. After a series of select live appearances – including shows in Spain alongside DMP label colleagues SELBST – AVERSIO HUMANITATIS returned to the studio in 2025 to record a successor to “Behold The Silent Dwellers“. Entitled “To Become The Endless Static“, the new album will be released on April 24th 2026.

Extreme death metal masters INFERI are now unleashing a brand new music video for the brutal title track of their upcoming new full-length, ‘Heaven Wept,’ which is due on April 10, 2026 via The Artisan Era! The clip features a montage of the band’s live performances and candid behind-the-scenes footage, which were taken at various shows during INFERI‘s last few tours. The raucous video and single can now be found at THIS LOCATION.

INFERI comments, “It brings us great pleasure to present the title track of our upcoming album, ‘Heaven Wept.’ This was actually the first song we finished for the album, and it’s crushing yet groovy atmosphere solidified the bedrock of theological horror we sought to build upon. Its also the first unreleased track we’ve ever played live. The video itself was filmed over three tours we did while writing and recording the album. It features some of our favorite venues from across the North American and Europe and encapsulates the vibe we strive to cultivate during our live shows.”

‘Heaven Wept’ can be pre-order and pre-saved HERE.

In addition, INFERI will be joining DEFEATED SANITY as direct support during the band’s upcoming North American spring tour. The run will feature additional support from New Zealand’s Organectomy on all dates while Excresence, Scasm, and Horrific Vision will appear on select stops. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are available HERE.

INFERI will also be performing at producer Dave Otero’s inaugural Flatline Festival, which takes place June 13 – 14 at the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO. More info and passes can be found HERE.

Since the explosive success of Inferi’s critically-acclaimed and chart topping 2018 full-length, ‘Revenant,’ the death metal battalion has continued to relentlessly churn like a raging maelstrom, dominating everything in its wake with the band’s melodic and virtuosic approach to the genre. ‘Heaven Wept’ picks up where 2021’s ‘Vile Genesis’ left off, putting forth the same mind-bending compositions and other-worldly musicianship that has set the band apart from their contemporaries. Inferi has risen to become a dominant force among modern American death metal acts since their reunion in 2011. ‘Heaven Wept’ is a master class in progressive extremity and is certain to make its mark as one of the greatest death metal offerings of this decade.

The album artwork was created by Helge C. Balzer.

LILLA VENEDA Present Synthwave Version of ‘Biomechanical Algorithm’ Song

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: LILLA VENEDA. Leave a comment

Lilla Veneda was initiated and founded in 2009 in Wrocław (Poland) by Virian.

Band took the name from one of the most famous Polish romantic tragedies – Lilla Weneda written by Juliusz Slowacki.

Lilla Veneda unveil a transformed interpretation of “Biomechanical Algorithm”, where the original electric guitar melodies written by Antris are immersed in a slow, atmospheric synthwave landscape. Reimagined by Wojciech “Flumen” Kostrzewa (Asgaard) and produced by Przemysław Nowak at Impressive-Art Studio, the track is a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of the 1980s — recreated with modern, refined production.

Built on warm analog synths, spacious pads, and steady, hypnotic rhythms, the song carries the nostalgic aura of ‘80s cinema and soundtracks, much like Stranger Things — a contemporary series that pays homage to the era not only through its music, but also through its visual style and storytelling atmosphere. At the same time, the production remains crisp, deep, and fully aligned with today’s standards.

Virian’s dark, expressive screams add a striking emotional layer, drifting through the retro-futuristic textures and giving the composition its distinctive edge. Fans of Ulver, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut will feel at home in this melancholic, neon-lit atmosphere.

“Biomechanical Algorithm (Synthwave Version)” reflects Lilla Veneda’s own roots — the band members were born in the late ‘80s, growing up surrounded by the echoes of that era. This release captures that heritage at its core, blending childhood influences with a mature, contemporary sound. It is a bridge between generations — shaped by the past, created for today.

Single “Biomechanical Algorithm (Synthwave Version)” is available at all popular streaming platforms (here).

5RAND Release ‘Double Bind’ Video from Latest Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: 5RAND. Leave a comment

5RAND have unleashed the official video for “Double Bind”, the last single taken from the band’s third album, “Ordhalia”.

With “Double Bind”, Italian modern melodic death metal force 5RAND deliver their most personal and psychologically intense track to date.

Written and performed by Julia Elenoir, Psychologist, Psychotherapist and songwriter, the song embodies a rare convergence of clinical insight and lived experience, transforming a complex psychological reality into a visceral sonic and visual journey.

“Double Bind” takes its name from a concept introduced by Gregory Bateson, describing a devastating relational paradox: when the person you depend on for emotional survival sends you contradictory signals that fracture your sense of self.

Through crushing riffs, cinematic atmospheres and the visceral duality of Julia Elenoir’s growls and haunting clean vocals, the song gives voice to that inner war.

The official video goes even deeper portraying Julia’s real Psychotherapy journey. A painful confrontation with buried truths. A descent into darkness that ultimately becomes transformation.

Because healing is not the absence of pain.
It is the courage to enter it, to honor it and to allow it to reshape you.

Pain is not something to erase.
It is something to face, to endure and ultimately to transform.
What was once unbearable becomes the very force that gives you structure, depth, and truth.

“Double Bind” is not just a song.
It is the sound of breaking and becoming whole again.

“Ordhalia” was produced by Marco Mastrobuono (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Kreator, Opeth).

Album tracklist:

1. Lullaby for the Broken
2. Bloodlife
3. Ordhalia
4. The Nihilist (feat. M. Silvestro / Fear Factory)
5. Double Bind
6. Turbid
7. Ritual of Silence
8. Lethargy
9. Resurge in Death
10. Silent Line

Hailing from Rome, Italy, 5RAND builds on a punishing modern metal foundation, layered with the cinematic depth of melodic death metal, creating an intense and emotionally immersive soundscape. Fronted by the dynamic dual vocals of Julia Elenoir – shifting seamlessly from visceral growls to haunting clean melodies – the band has carved out a distinctive place in the modern metal scene.

Founded by Pierluigi Carocci (guitar), Acey Guns (bass), Andrea De Carolis (drums), and Elenoir (vocals), 5RAND first made waves with their debut “Sacred/Scared”, followed by the critically acclaimed “Dark Mother”. The band has since toured extensively across Europe, sharing the stage with iconic acts such as Dark Tranquillity, Vader, Butcher Babies, Infected Rain, and many others.

In 2025, 5RAND will unveil their most ambitious work to date – a bold new album mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, featuring a powerful guest appearance by the new Fear Factory vocalist, Milo Silvestro. This upcoming release signals a sonic evolution: darker, more introspective, and conceptually daring.

The band’s name, drawn from a chance encounter with a shaman and a South African 5 Rand coin, symbolizes unexpected paths and transformative experiences. Their music explores themes of identity, emotional detachment, philosophy, and human resilience, all woven together through a multidisciplinary artistic vision that spans both sound and visuals.

Line-up:

Julia Elenoir – Voice
Pierluigi Carocci – Guitar
Acey Guns – Bass
Andrea De Carolis – Drums

30 DENARI Release First Single + Video ‘Modern Era Working Class’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: 30 DENARI. Leave a comment

“Modern Era Working Class”, the first single from 30 DENARI‘s album “Kindly Plotting For Riot”, is available on YouTube thanks to the official video created by Zibernaugh Studio.

Singer Crez Adrenalink Dojo introduces us to the song by summarizing its concept and sound: “This song is for those who wake up tired and go to sleep still thinking about tomorrow. For those who sacrifice hours of their lives just to stay afloat in an increasingly heavy world. It’s about working hard and still not reaching your goals, about being told to wait, to resist, to compete, while everything you have is slowly squeezed out.
The sound is nervous and pulsating: post-punk rhythms fueled by tension, electronic undertones creeping into the noise, mirroring the anxiety, pressure, and constant movement of modern working life.

This is not a story of failure, it’s a story of survival, of pressure, of dignity and of the strength that comes from standing together. This is the modern working class!”.

“Kindly Plotting For Riot” will be released on April 24th. Expect a visceral journey, almost a hypnotic and cutting ritual, able of combining mechanical impulses and emotional tension. The music has its roots in the Post-Punk and New Wave scene (Joy Division, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Coil, Gary Numan) and in more contemporary visions such as Nine Inch Nails, Editors, and Chelsea Wolfe, but it also pays homage to the Italian PUNK and POST-PUNK scene represented by Negazione, Kina, Franti, Diaframma, Disciplinatha, and Limbo / Pankow.
