WOLIERA is a family band founded in 2021 by Krzysztof Sokołowski from legendary HC band 1125 and Mariusz Wróbel (Blow For Blow). Rooted in melodic death and doom metal, the group draws its primary inspiration from the Scandinavian metal scene.
The debut album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tom Bishop at Nest Studio in Katowice (Ballkick, Czesław Mozil, Tuff Enuff). The band photo session was carried out by Bartłomiej Czajkowski, who also created the album artwork. The release layout was designed by Kuba Szajer. The album will be released on September 30, 2026, in digital format and on CD via the Polish underground label BRR.
Today, the official music video for the title track “Bagienny Stan” premieres on the Forever Misanthropia YouTube channel. Filmed at Leman Mountain in Piaszno, the video was produced by Tomek Kuźma and Paweł Raubo of EternalFire.Art.
However, the story of the band began much earlier. A shared passion for music gradually passed on to the next generation. From an early age, Maciej Wróbel tried to imitate drummers, using stools, chairs, and anything else that could serve as a substitute for a drum kit. As soon as he was able to reach the pedals of a real drum set, he began taking regular drum lessons. Marcin Sokołowski, on the other hand, chose the microphone, with a tennis racket serving as his first “instrument.”
The pandemic became the catalyst for making music together. Marcin Sokołowski (7) took on the role of vocalist, Maciej Wróbel (10) sat behind the drums, while Krzysztof and Mariusz picked up their guitars. Initially, the family lineup performed songs by Paradise Lost, Anathema, and Insomnium, giving intimate concerts in a home basement. Soon, bassist Tymoteusz Wróbel (17) joined the group, followed by Aleksandra (the vocalist’s mother), who enriched the band’s sound with keyboards. The band’s first concert (still without a name at the time) took place in 2022 during a private charity event. Since then, WOLIERA has performed in clubs and at festivals, sharing the stage with acts such as Turbo, Betrayer, Czerń, Hamulec, Schizma, and New York hardcore legends Madball.
One of WOLIERA‘s most distinctive features is its lineup, bringing together two generations of musicians from two close-knit families. Krzysztof Sokołowski and Mariusz Wróbel invited their children to join them, transforming casual family jam sessions into a fully-fledged band. However, WOLIERA is far more than a family project. The band focuses on heavy, melancholic compositions, melodic guitar harmonies, and an atmosphere deeply rooted in death and doom metal.

Swedish Black Metal band TROLLDOM was founded 2004 in the deep woods of Småland by guitarist/composer Swartadauþuz (BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ, MUVITIUM, AZELISASSATH, GREVE). Four years after simultaneous twin debut albums “Av gudars ätt…” and “I nattens sken (Genom hemligheternas dunkel)“, we can now announce an incoming third opus of deeply reverent second-wave Black Metal power.
“Tronen” features six tracks of addictive and darkly melodic Swedish Black Metal excellence, honouring the glory days between 1995 and 1998 when so many classics were released.

All music was written by Swartadauþuz, while Lik (BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ) penned the lyrics. The album was mixed and mastered in early 2025 by S.D.S. (AVERSIO HUMANITATIS) at The Empty Hall Studios.
The aptly mesmeric cover artwork was created by Greallach (PESTILENTIAL SHADOWS).
TROLLDOM now present ‘Etter Falla…‘ as the first and only preview track from the forthcoming storm: a perfect synthesis of melodic prowess and grim force via stirring progressions, anthemic leads, evocative vocals and majestic synth.
“Tronen” will be released on CD, vinyl (including an exclusive DMP edition) and digital on October 30th. Special merch – including a t-shirt, zip hoodie & patch – accompanies the release. The classicistic Swedish Black Metal band TROLLDOM was founded in 2004 by guitarist, composer and Ancient Records/Mysticism Productions owner Swartadauþuz (BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ, MUVITIUM, AZELISASSATH, GREVE, BALWEZO WESTIJIZ etc).
In 2016 Lik (BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ) joined as the project’s lyricist to further-awaken and channel inner spiritual revelations. First demo, “Av gudablod röd…“, was given a limited release that same year by Greek label Arcane Angels.
After a sequence of delays, the band’s twin debut albums “I Nattens Sken (Genom Hemligheternas Dunkel)” and “Av Gudars Ätt…“, arrived simultaneously in 2022 via Iron Bonehead Productions. Deep expressions of ’90s second-wave Black Metal veneration, both records found TROLLDOM evolving the form: tapping into the otherworldly sense of melancholy typical of Swartadauþuz, propelled by a storming drum session from the esteemed K. Paradis (BELPHEGOR, MELECHESH).
Upcoming third album “Tronen” was written and recorded between 2023-2024, receiving a mix and master from Simón Da Silva (CANCER, MARTRÖÐ, SELBST) at the Empty Hall Studio in early 2025. Again, featuring drums by K. Paradis, “Tronen” continues TROLLDOM‘s quest to break the spirit from false bounds of material existence via symphonic and reverent Black Metal power. The cover artwork was painted by Greallach based on ideas by the band, and depicts rebirth through the gateway of death.
“Tronen” will be released by Debemur Morti Productions in late 2026.
Australian progressive metal innovators Teramaze return with a bold new chapter, unveiling their brand-new single and music video, “Palisades.”
With “Palisades,” Teramaze venture into territory they’ve flirted with before but never fully explored — fusing their signature progressive metal sound with the shimmering, atmospheric world of ’80s synthwave.
The song also marks a significant first for the band, being the first composition created with new keyboard player Luke Rosten.
Luke originally brought Dean Wells a synthwave-inspired progression, unsure whether it would fit the Teramaze sound. Dean’s response was simple: “Leave it with me.”
From there, the idea evolved into something entirely unexpected.
Dean began building around Luke’s original progression, combining its nostalgic ’80s synth textures with the melodic intensity, progressive arrangements and heavier edge that Teramaze are known for. The result is a fresh hybrid that feels distinctly Teramaze while pushing the band into new sonic territory.
“We’ve wanted to do something like this in the past, but never quite found the right way into it,” says Dean Wells. “Luke brought this really cool synthwave idea to me, and once I started working on it, everything just clicked. The combination of those ’80s sounds with what we do naturally created something that felt new and exciting.”
“Palisades” is more than just another Teramaze single — it signals another evolution in a band that has never been afraid to push beyond the boundaries of progressive metal.

Finnish classic Gothenburg-style melodic death metal band Morbid Intent are set to release their debut EP Marionettes later in 2026 via Inverse Records. The second single ‘Vitriol Shards’ is unleashed today and it’s accompanied by a music video which can be seen below.
The band comments: “Vitriol Shards is diving into the destructive power of toxic words, psychological violence and bitterness. The track portrays how hatred and poisoned communication can shatter into fragments that slowly corrode the human mind, piece by piece.”
Morbid Intent is an upcoming melodic death metal act formed in Oulu, Finland. Looking to take the scene by storm, Morbid Intent will release their debut EP “Marionettes” in 2026. The main inspiration for the band is the classic Göteborg-style melodic death metal mixed with a splash of modern extreme metal aggression. Fast blast beats, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies are to be expected.

Toilet Ov Hell hosts the premiere of “Grave Reveries”, the new single from Finnish death metal outfit HEKATOXEN, taken from their forthcoming debut full-length, “Obsidian Majesty”, due out on October 2nd, 2026 via Nuclear Winter Records on LP and CD.
Following the previously released “Lost Souls Epitome”, “Grave Reveries” offers another glimpse into the album and further demonstrates how HEKATOXEN have developed the raw foundation established on their “Utter Darkness” EP.
The track is built around the band’s trademark razor-edged riffing and a forceful rhythm section, but its impact comes from the way HEKATOXEN keep the music moving rather than simply piling on heaviness. Sharp guitar work, measured changes in pace and clearly defined song structures give “Grave Reveries” a strong sense of momentum, while the band’s Finnish death metal roots remain unmistakable.

The GWAR: Antarctica Scumdogs DLC for Mutant Football League 2 will make its worldwide playable debut at PAX West in Seattle from Sept. 4–7, and attendees visiting Digital Dreams Entertainment‘s booth can be the first anywhere to take GWAR onto the MFL2 gridiron. The GWAR: Antarctica Scumdogs DLC will be available to play at the Digital Dreams Entertainment booth at PAX West, Arch Building, Level 4, Booth #853.
