Epictronic Records proudly presents the official music video for “I’m Happy if You’re Happy,” a standout track from Sicky’s outstanding album “Troubled Delight”, available now.

Sicky’s “I’m Happy If You’re Happy” gives a playful nod to The Cure’s classic “The Lovecats.” The bassline and production clearly draw from the vibe and energy of that unforgettable track. Sicky hopes this song will have the same kind of lasting charm.

There’s a subtle cat theme running through the song, but it’s really about setting a trap or drawing someone in, not just about cats. If you listen closely, you might hear some cat noises sprinkled in—and, for a fun surprise, Scarlet throws in a random turkey impression.

“Recording the track was a lot of fun and brought a joyful, carefree energy to the process.” Said Sicky

Troubled Delight came together unexpectedly in late 2023, with ideas flowing fast and easy—each song sparking the next. Sicky kept things simple and authentic, recording everything at home and experimenting with unusual percussion instruments found in Lily and Scarlet’s music room. The album is sprinkled with cool field recordings too, from church bells to shopping centre doors and even a spooky Hammer Films sample.

Highlights include the moving track “The Hill,” inspired by a tough 22-mile charity walk, Jen Bone’s warm double bass recorded on the fly, and Rebecca Butler’s angelic vocals on “Mankind.” With every song clocking in under three minutes, Troubled Delight is a scrappy, joyful collection of tunes that hit hard and fast.

Written and produced by Sicky at home and mastered by Charlie Francis, this album is bursting with heart, energy, and an unmistakably DIY vibe that fans of honest, catchy rock will love.

MØRKET Preview Upcoming Third Album with Crushing Single ‘Dissosiaatio’

Helsinki-based band Mørket, set to release their third album Del III: Dödsångestens fågelsång in October, offers a new preview from the record with the single Dissosiaatio, out on September 5th.

With Dissosiaatio, Mørket once again stays true to their dark-toned style, delving deep into the shadowy side of the human mind. Lyrically, the track continues the narrative of singles Kirottu maa and Högar av lik, both released earlier this year.

”The mind can only endure a limited amount of stress and trauma. The narrator of Dissosiaatio has reached a point in his journey through the Cursed Land (Kirottu maa) where the structures of reality no longer feel so real, and the non-existent Piles of Corpses (Högar av lik) haunt the field of vision more and more often. The narrator still knows that the journey must go on and that the end is already looming ahead, but as the mind escapes further from the body, the choices may prove fatal,” describes bassist-vocalist Janne Leskinen, the lyricist behind the track.

Set for release on October 3rd, Del III: Dödsångestens fågelsång blends the heavier shades of dark metal with more traditional rock intensity — the same elements are strongly present on Dissosiaatio. The band, who usually sings in both Finnish and Swedish, this time chose the language of hard consonants: Finnish.

“Dissosiaatio offers a really solid taste of the upcoming album. Even though this time we’re moving at a slightly slower tempo, the song still culminates in some proper Mørket-style blasting fury. We can’t wait to perform this one live!”, Janne says.

KLOGR Release Reimagined Version of Classic Track ‘White Eyes’

Italian alt-metal act KLOGR unveil “White Eyes”, a reimagined version of one of the tracks from their 2011 debut album “Till You Decay”. After weeks of silence – broken only by a countdown on their Social Media – the band returns with a powerful reinterpretation of one of their most iconic songs.

The new version features downtuned guitars (7-string in drop A) and is enriched with electronic elements such as loops and synths, echoing the sonic direction of their most recent full-length album “Fractured Realities”. The official video, out now on the band’s YouTube channel, features Rusty (founder, vocals and guitar), Crivez (guitarist since 2018), Jonatan (drummer on the last two tours), and Luca Marchi (bass player during the band’s recent European tour in April).

STARBYNARY Reveal First Details of Upcoming “Romeo and Juliet, Pt. I” Concept Album

Elevate Records is thrilled to reveal the cover art and tracklisting of STARBYNARY‘s new album, ‘Romeo and Juliet, Pt. I’. Out on Elevate Records on September 26th, it will be available on all digital platforms and on CD.

Five years after the release of Paradiso (2020) – the concluding chapter of the trilogy dedicated to Dante’s Divine Comedy – Starbynary return with an ambitious new project. On September 27, 2025, via Elevate Records, “Romeo and Juliet, Pt. I” will see the light, the first volume of a concept album inspired by the immortal work of William Shakespeare.

Led by founders Joe Caggianelli (vocals) and Luigi Accardo (keyboards), Starbynary continue their exploration at the crossroads of literature and music, shifting their focus from the Dantean epic to the Shakespearean tragedy. The new work moves on progressive terrain rich with intricate structures, complex harmonies, and a refined dialogue between modernity and tradition, with influences ranging from Baroque lyricism to 17th-century Italian music.

Alongside the confirmed Alfonso Mocerino (drums) and Sebastiano Zanotto (bass), the line-up is notably strengthened by the arrival of guitarist Alessandro Cossu (formerly a member of Ashent), whose contribution promises to enrich the band’s sound. Adding further prestige to the work is the special participation of Baroque soprano Anna Piroli, who interprets the role of Juliet.
