METATRONE Reveal New Music Video for Single ‘Facsimile’ from Upcoming Fifth Studio Album

After marking their return with the spiritually-charged “Emmaus”, Italian Christian Catholic metal veterans Metatrone unveil their new single “Facsimile”, the second track from their upcoming fifth studio album set for release in 2026.

“Facsimile” is more than just a song – it’s a powerful manifesto against artistic conformity and imitation. Musically, the track blends razor-sharp riffs, progressive arrangements, and melodic choruses, channeling the band’s signature power-prog style with an aggressive thrash edge.

Written by founding duo David Brown and Stefano “Ghigas” Calvagno, the track openly challenges the rise of tribute culture and invites musicians to embrace their true selves, creatively and spiritually.

Keyboardist David Brown comments:

“This song challenges artists to invest in themselves with honesty and originality, without resorting to imitation. As Jesus says in John 8:32, ‘The truth will set you free.’ We believe that truth lies in embracing your uniqueness.”

Guitarist Ghigas adds:

“The tribute band phenomenon has gone from a fun curiosity to something grotesque. It’s strange – and sad – to see talented musicians devote so much effort to copying artists who are still active. Music is about truth, not imitation.”

“Facsimile” also reflects the band’s ongoing evolution. With Jo Lombardo back on vocals and Simone Alberti (drums) and Alex Palazzo (bass) solidifying the current lineup, Metatrone‘s sound has grown sharper, more dynamic, and emotionally charged — a balance of faith-driven lyrics, technical complexity, and metal intensity.

Terra Atlantica has released a video for “Land Of Submarines”, first single taken from the new Terra Atlantica album “Oceans” to be released on September 26 by Scarlet Records.

An energetic and uplifting happy metal track, “Land Of Submarines” is about epic underwater battles between submarines, but it also carries a deeper message of hope and rising above the darkness. It’s about finding new strength and optimism even from the depths, symbolizing resilience and the spirit of adventure. SERPENTS is a band playing modern/post-metalcore with a touch of electronic music, formed in 2023 in Szczecin (PL), consisting of five members. The band is distinguished by its professional approach to music, creating a unique sound in which aggressive guitars harmonize with pulsating electronic elements.

Serpents already published video to the latest single “The Boys of Summer” with video done by Anna Pomierczyk-Wiechnik from rock-it.tv. Swiss doom/sludge quartet Zatokrev have revealed their new moving single ‘Pearl Eyes’, a third fragment of their upcoming album, …Bring Mirrors to the Surface, which will be released on 29th August via Pelagic Records.

Zatokrev comment: “Our third single is another piece of the puzzle of a cathartic self-discovery from the upcoming album. It was a true joy to collaborate with our longtime friend Lio and his crew on the new, spontaneously and intuitively created video. The monumental …Bring Mirrors to the Surface continues the story its predecessor Silk Spiders Underwater… began telling in 2015, and features guest vocal performances by Schammasch, Inezona, Minsk, and Bölzer.
