Can’t make it live? No problem – you’ll have access to watch the full show on-demand until July 7 at 4 PM CET.

Sharon Osbourne commented:
“We had such an overwhelming response from fans all over the world who couldn’t get tickets to the show. And they begged us on social media to livestream it. Since this is such a historic event, we simply couldn’t let them down.”

Dream Line-Up – and Some Honest Words

In an interview with Music Business Worldwide, Sharon also revealed that two bands they had really hoped to include couldn’t make it:

“There are two bands we would’ve loved to bring in, but they couldn’t do it because they’re working that day. One was Judas Priest, a local band, and the other was Angus Young from AC/DC, because he’s always been a huge supporter of Ozzy.”

Emerging from Brisbane’s seething metal underground, AVERSIONS CROWN returns from the void with A Voice From The Outer Dark. The EP which will be released on August 5th via Nuclear Blast Records is a three-track statement of renewed intent, brutal evolution, and total annihilation. Marking the band’s first new material in several years, the EP represents a bold new chapter in both sound and vision.

Today, the band release a music video for the thunderous first track and title of the album, ‘A Voice From The Outer Dark’.Watch the Matrix-esque music video directed by Colin Jeffs, here:

AVERSIONS CROWN comments, “This song marks the beginning of a new chapter for us. We’ve been quiet for a few years now, but that silence was the calm before something much heavier. A Voice From The Outer Dark is the first signal that we’re back, and this time we’re not coming in peace.”

Pre-order or pre-save A Voice From The Outer Dark EP, here:https://aversionscrown.bfan.link/avftodep

Below is the A Voice from the Outer Dark EP track list:
1. A Voice from the Outer Dark
2. Deathbed Lamentations
3. Castigation Choir

A Voice From The Outer Dark captures AVERSIONS CROWN in a new phase of creative intensity. The EP distills everything the band is — and everything it’s becoming — into three tracks of sheer ferocity. Conceptually, the band continues to explore existential and cosmic horror themes, blurring the lines between science fiction and spiritual annihilation, channeling the sound of a world tearing itself apart from the inside out. The arrival of new vocalist Alex Teyen (formerly of BLACK TONGUE) signals a seismic shift.

A Voice From The Outer Dark was recorded in October 2024. It was produced by Lance Prenc and Edward Sklavos. Prenc was also responsible for the mixing and mastering while Sklavos handled the engineering. The cover artwork for the EP was created by Róbert A Borbás (aka Grindesign)

A Voice From The Outer Dark is the sound of a band reborn through fire, silence, and darkness — ready to reestablish their legacy and redefine deathcore in the process.

Finnish melodic death/doom metal band Serpent God is set to release their debut album ‘Denial’ on October 10th 2025 via Inverse Records. The second single ‘oblivion’ is released today and it’s available on most streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/serpent-god-oblivion

  • Music, lyrics, mixed and mastered by Samu Männikkö
  • Arrangements by Serpent God
  • ISRC: FI3FC2592307
  • Single cover by Heidi Hyvärinen

The band comments:
”Chase eternal serpent, fly high above the stars”

Not your standard power ballad. Oblivion is a dream-like hazy, a song with a heavy contrast from violent blast beat and aggressive screams. Some parts are almost psychedelic, it’s certainly a trip on its own, mixed highs and lows. There’s a strange, almost mystic feeling throughout the song. There’s couple of very memorable guitar leads and strong bass lines. “In silence the deaf hear their scream”

Denial Track list:

  1. denial
  2. beneath
  3. repent
  4. revelation
  5. alive
  6. sermon
  7. oblivion
  8. keyhole
  9. void

Note that all song titles are intentionally written in lowercase

Serpent God is a band formed 2023 in Iisalmi, Finland. The birth is heavily related to Se, josta ei puhuta -band’s writing process; lots of material were created that didn’t fit in the spectrum of Se, josta ei puhuta. In general, the material was more slow-paced and more eerie. However, the mentioned material was also way too good to be deleted, so therefore another output was needed, so Serpent God was born. Different branches grow from a tree with strong roots. Serpent God has its foundation in extreme metal, but there are also heavy influences from post-rock, doom and smaller splashes of more avantgarde sounds.

Line-up:
Samu Männikkö – Vocals, guitars and keyboards
Juho-Pekka Lappalainen – Bass
Jimi Myöhänen – Drums

DEVILPRIEST Unveil ‘Unwavering in the Left Hand Path’ Single from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 11, 2025

Polish death metallers DEVILPRIEST have unveiled the exclusive premiere of their new single “Unwavering In the Left Hand Path” via Mystification Zine. This brooding track is the latest preview of their upcoming third album, “Where I Am the Chalice, Be Thou the Blood”, due out June 27th, 2025 on Nuclear Winter Records.

Continuing to channel the unrelenting spirit of early ’90s death metal with a ritualistic edge, “Unwavering In the Left Hand Path” embodies the band’s masterful fusion of hypnotic groove, violent blast beats, and occult atmosphere. Immerse yourself in the first wave of devastation as DEVILPRIEST leads the way down the shadowed corridors of the left-hand path.

Stream “Unwavering In the Left Hand Path” HERE.

Founded in 2015 by veterans of the Polish underground, DEVILPRIEST channels the spirit of early ’90s death metal, shrouded in a conceptual veil of occultism and ritual. Their sound is technical yet relentlessly barbaric, precise yet full of unpredictable tempo shifts – hypnotic, suffocating and deeply meditative.

With the third full-length album “Where I Am the Chalice, Be Thou the Blood” DEVILPRIEST continues the concept of satanic enlightenment explored in previous works. This time, however, it is a journey to the origin of the left-hand path, where surrounded with complete darkness the flame of life burns. Meditation on the unspoken words that became the effect or on how to achieve full control over body and mind by forging the irresistible and unrestrained will.

What made previous albums unique has been taken to a level of expression previously unheard. Multilayered structures full of hypnotic pulsation intertwined with incredibly fast blast beats and dense, dissonant riffing set in motion a wheel that breaks the bones of the compassionates.

Recorded in winter 2024/2025 in mysterious locations. Mixed and mastered at No Solace.

For fans of: Morbid Angel, Vital Remains, Azarath, Lvcifyre

Tracklist:

01 – He Is In Me
02 – Dragon of Blasphemy
03 – Unwavering In the Left Hand Path
04 – SNEGTH IER ARNES (The Words That Have Become the Effect)
05 – Channeling Into the Peerless Transgressiveness
06 – The Enmity Against the Grace
07 – The Prayer of Hell

In a world overwhelmed with musical diversity, ideology and artistic bias, it can sometimes be a daunting task seeking out those talents truly worthy of praise. Let’s face it – everyone is aware that it should all be about the music, but in a society that thrives on social media influencers, overblown pop star frenzies  dictating everything and force feeding social & corporate money making gimmicks, the music has regrettably taken a back seat. Still there are those few uncompromising musicians scattered among us that prefer to rely on good old-fashioned brow-beating hard work rather than succumb to the prefabricated mainstream success that is so prevalent in today’s modern musical arena.

Enter 40 Cycle Hum, whose genuine approach to writing and performing is sure to cause fans and industry types everywhere to stand up and take notice. This latest powerhouse offering boasts a massive punch and will no doubt have even the most docile fans throwing their fists to the air. Produced and engineered by Stevo Bruno (Five Finger Death Punch, Motley Crue, Prong), and mastered by the late great George Marino of Sterling Sound.  The album features 12 scorching tracks including “Seven Stitches”, “Rise Up”, and more. In addition the CD is packaged with original artwork by famed horror director Clive Barker (Hellraiser, Lords of Illusion, Gods & Monsters). 40 CYCLE HUM is the long awaited triumphant follow-up to the band’s 2006 debut, Secret Skin!

The band’s inception featured Singer/Frontman/Guitarist Brandon Mitchell, Guitarist Rocky George (of Suicidal Tendencies/ Infections Grooves),  Bassist Mike Duda (of W.A.S.P., and Drummer Francis Ruiz (Buckcherry) who were involved in much of shaping the band’s direction and songwriting approach.   The industry would then call on Rocky George and Mike Duda to fulfill their responsibilities in their other respective bands.  Mike was called back to W.A.S.P., and Rocky was called to FISHBONE.

It was at that time guitarist Mark Zavon (Kill Devil Hill), and Bassist Kenny Lefort joined the fold and began forging a new path ahead.  As fate would dictate,  the musical climate changed among other developments, and eventually resulted in the band members pursuing other musical endeavors.

While the guys have individually and collectively paid their dues, and have been a part of many musical collaborations and bands, the fact that what they created together is “worthy”.    Worthy of being heard, shared, loved by true music fans,  but also worthy of being performed and recognized along side of their established musical cohorts & peers.  With the band members having remained in touch with each other and remaining active in the music world,  the universe has now set the stage to allow 40 Cycle Hum to share the great music they have created!

“Music is a tough business; the cards are stacked against you before you even get started. But if you’re in it for the right reasons it becomes its own reward. We all have to pay the bills, but at the end of the day, nothing beats doing something you really love.”

Originality is a scarce thing in music anymore, although once in a while there are definitely worthwhile exceptions.  40 Cycle Hum are no different than other musicians in that the are a product of their influences, but by combining their influences, they make music that remains fresh and relevant to today’s listeners.
