Texas-based alt-rock outfit Neapolitan is set to continue their momentum in 2025 with the release of their brand-new single, ‘Running Away,‘ out now via Golden Robot Records.
Following the emotional depth of their previous release, ‘Sell Yourself,’ Neapolitan returns with a track that channels raw vulnerability through urgent melodies and a gripping vocal performance. ‘Running Away’ explores the all-too-familiar desire to escape – from expectations, from the past, and from the version of ourselves we no longer recognize.
Built on a foundation of soaring guitars and anthemic hooks, ‘Running Away‘ captures the intensity of emotional flight while still grounding itself in themes of reflection and growth. It’s a song for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, yet found a strange comfort in the chaos.
With each release, Neapolitan continues to assert themselves as a rising force in the modern alternative landscape – unafraid to tackle complex emotions with honesty and sonic power.
Neapolitan are: Christopher Schreck – vocals, guitar Nick Rash – Bass, guitar Bryce Weston – Drums Matthew Rodriguez – Bass
Vocalist Nathan James commented on the new single: “Say What You Wanna Say” is the kind of track that all the Inglorious fans are going to love. It’s that high energy high tempo vibe with lots of punch, but also with a bit of a twist. Colin wrote this musically and I love the chorus. It’s a big tune and one I’m really looking forward to doing live”.
Bassist Colin Parkinson added: “The track is a statement of attitude with a punk meets Mötley Crüe feel. Nathan was very open to changing up vocal styles and trying new approaches on this, which has worked really well. I look forward to playing this one live!”
Regarding the new album, he added: “I am extremely happy to be returning to Inglorious after a while away. It’s the right time to get some kickass new music out there for the fans and to focus on the future. Writing and recording with Nathan again has been the easiest it’s ever been; it all flowed so well. We’ve all played and sang our asses off on these songs and I know the new album will not disappoint!”
Lead singer Nathan James stated: “In the summer of 2023, I sent a message to Colin and asked him if he wanted to come for a pint. A few meetings and writing sessions later, we had more than an album’s worth of great material and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every second of creating this album with him and the new line up. Colin has always been a great songwriter and over the years we’ve both matured as artists, writers, performers and people. This is going to be a great year for Inglorious and I’m excited to welcome Colin back and to share this new music with everyone”.
Inglorious returns with frontman Nathan James and original bassist Colin Parkinson. Nathan James, who founded the band in 2014, has been singing professionally for 20 years. He has performed/recorded with artists such as Ginger Baker, Uli Jon Roth and The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
More recently, he has appeared in Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds, Steve Steinman’s Vampires Rock Symphonic, 80’s Classical and Zeppelin Symphonic. Nathan also fronts Supergroup Iconic, under the Frontiers roster featuring Michael Sweet, Joel Hoekstra, Marco Mendoza and Tommy Aldridge.
In 2022, after a lengthy UK tour, Inglorious announced a hiatus. After seven years of non-stop touring with bands such as The Winery Dogs, Steel Panther, The Dead Daisies, Last In Line, as well as their own international tours and festival appearances, recording four original albums, a live album and a covers album, everyone felt it was the right time to take a break.
Nathan is now back, looking forward to unleashing his powerful voice and he joined forces once again with original Inglorious bass player and main co-writer Colin Parkinson, who co-wrote and released the first three albums with the band: “Inglorious”, “II” and “Ride To Nowhere”.
Joining them is renowned guitarist Richard Shaw, best known for his work with English extreme metal band Cradle Of Filth, as well as NG26, Emperor Chung, and Plague Of Angels. Richard brings exceptional musicality and a fresh energy to the band’s sound.
On drums, longtime friend of Nathan, Henry Rogers, completes the line up. A celebrated musician, Henry has played with Touchstone, Mostly Autumn, Mia Klose, and Mark Kelly’s Marathon and has earned accolades such as “Drummer Of The Year” in Classic Rock Prog Magazine and Rhythm Magazine’s list of influential progressive drummers.
Produced by Colin Parkinson, “V” was mixed by Tony Draper, who also worked on “Inglorious II” and “Ride To Nowhere”, ensuring the album retains the band’s signature sound while exploring new heights.

It has been eight years since REFLECTION released their last album, Bleed Babylon Bleed, but now the Greek champions of epic heavy metal have returned! The silence is shattered by the sound of thunder as The Battles I Have Won comes galloping out of the darkness. True legends of the Greek heavy metal scene, Reflection have been active for more than three decades and unveiled their debut album, The Fire Still Burns back in 1999. The band still feature founding member, guitarist Stathis Pavlantis and his brother George Pavlantis who hammered the drums of doom on The Fire Still Burns and has been the rhythm master for Reflection ever since. With their comrades in blood and battle, long standing bassist John Litinakis and magnificent new vocalist Kostas Tokas (who made a guest appearance on the track ‘Stormbringer’ from Bleed Babylon Bleed), the Pavlantis brothers have delivered what will surely come to be regarded as Reflection’s finest album to date.
A first track from The Battles I Have Won was revealed at the beginning of March and ‘Lord Of The Wind’ was met with a rapturous response from fans who watched the unveiling of its accompanying lyric video. Full of drama and emotion, with breathtaking guitar work and an irresistible chorus, ‘Lord Of The Wind’ is the epitome of heroic heavy metal – and yet it is just a glimpse of all that The Battles I Have Won has to offer. From the searing energy of exhilarating opener, ‘Only The Swords Survive’ through to the Homeric majesty and narrative mastery of the concluding ‘City Walls Of Malta – The Great Siege’, The Battles I Have Won scales so many towering peaks. The pride and passion of the album’s stunning title track, the dark, beguiling melodies of ‘Sirens’ Song’, the inspiring, heart-lifting adventure of ‘March Of The Argonauts’…every song is a highlight in its own right and The Battles I Have Won is a paradise for those whose hearts still burn with the flame of heavy metal.
Every aspect of The Battles I Have Won has been carefully curated to form part of the band’s overall vision for this, their magnum opus. The orchestration work by Kostas Rekleitis has brought additional depth and atmosphere to each tale as it unfolds, the spectacular cover artwork created by Alexandros Vasilopoulos (Battleroar etc) draws the listener into Reflection’s world of myth, legend and history, while the sound captured by the band’s own Stathis Pavlantis at Dark Water Audio (Marauder, Achelous, Power Crue, Darklon etc) is warm and richly textured, vibrant, vital and alive! Selected members of the Greek media were treated to a pre-release listen to the album on April 13th and soon the world will know why they were so excited by what they heard!
On June 20th Reflection will return to the field of conflict with The Battles I Have Won. Pitch Black Records will release the album on CD and digital formats, while Vinylstore.gr will present a vinyl edition – with special vinyl mastering, under exclusive license from Pitch Black Records.

Spanish dark post-rock ensemble MÜNTRAILS present their captivating lyric video for “Heretic Eyes,”a track from their album The Cenobite Tapes, out via Wormholedeath Records.
A brooding fusion of melancholic rock and new wave energy, “Heretic Eyes” unfolds like a fever dream—haunting, electric, and deeply introspective. Misty Decembers, hidden truths, and the weight of time linger in every note, pulling you into a world where past and present blur.
Formed in Spain in 2022, Müntrails blends raw emotion with atmospheric rock. Featuring Dibasson (Vocals), Beszel (Guitars, Programming, & Backing Vocals), Zennon (Keyboards), BasLag (Bass), and Shevek (Drums), the band crafts deeply personal, immersive soundscapes. Following three EPs in 2024, they signed with WormHoleDeath Records for the 2025 release of The Cenobite Tapes.
While not a concept album, The Cenobite Tapes unfolds as a cohesive journey, merging melancholic depth, raw intensity, and ambient soundscapes. Each track weaves a unique atmosphere, yet a subtle thread of self-expression ties them together, making the album an evolving, immersive experience.
Daedric continues the march toward their sophomore album with the release of their latest single, “Alien Skin.” A pure metalcore adrenaline rush, “Alien Skin” was an early favorite and a must-have for the album. Originally written in 2019, it let Daedric’s live members Trevor (drums) and Dylan (guitar) shine, scratching the band’s metal itch with raw intensity.
“Lyrically, I had written this one after watching the movie Dark City from the ’90s,” Kristyn Hope explains. The song draws inspiration from the 1998 sci-fi film Dark City, exploring paranoia, self-doubt, and reality distortion. The protagonist questions whether they’ve committed a terrible crime, mirroring the film’s eerie world where unseen forces manipulate reality. The pre-chorus introduces a sinister voice whispering doubt: “You’re not going to be okay,” adding to the song’s unsettling atmosphere.
Musically, “Alien Skin” marked a shift for Daedric, introducing gritty, belted vocals for the first time. The chorus, instead of exploding with energy, takes a hauntingly restrained approach, amplifying the song’s tension. This track also connects directly to “Dreamweaver,” which expands on its themes of paranoia and inescapable nightmares. Blending sci-fi horror with a relentless metalcore edge, “Alien Skin” stands as one of the album’s most conceptually rich and intense tracks.
Daedric is an alternative rock and metal project led by vocalist and artist, Kristyn Hope, alongside producers, Clay Schroeder and Geoff Rockwell.
Daedric draws inspiration from an eclectic array of sources including the open world role-playing game series Elder Scrolls, from which the Daedric name is derived. The musical soundscape can best be described as “all killer, no filler” (according to Metal Epidemic) with a dance of hypnotic synths, elaborate grooves, and intensely dynamic vocals. Kristyn launched the Daedric project in 2021 through a partnership with electronic rock label FiXT. With the debut full-length album, Mortal, under Daedric’s belt, the project has solidified its hold on the line between rock and metal, with promises to tighten its grip on listeners’ ears. The band continues forward with a new album slated for release in late 2025.
Daedric has collaborated with labelmates Celldweller, Fight The Fade, Andromida, Void Chapter, and Kaixo for a gamut of well received singles that have also pulled in more fans across the world. After dropping a variety of singles, music videos, and collaborations Daedric has amassed over 440K followers across all platforms, scored mentions on Louder Sound, Punk Rocker, Metal Hammer, and Metal Injection. They’ve also gained notoriety on the Daedric Official Tik Tok Account covering the hit single “This Is Halloween,” and Daedric’s track “Abandon,” a collaborative effort with Andromida, found its way into the spotlight when Ubisoft chose it for inclusion in a promotional trailer for Rainbow Six Siege.
The musical genre can be summarised as gothic rock, but anyway it ‘s a cross-over of various styles that, from the sound of the 80s, have spanned the decades reaching today. Like the rays of light glimpsed from a dark forest, the band’s music is meant to represent the journey of life and the ability to catch the brightness that seeps out even from negative moments.
The 3 members of the band, after years of experience with other bands between productions and concerts, came together with the idea of creating a new project that synthesises their life’s musical experiences, combined with a great passion and fun in playing music.
